5 starsI write reviews when service truly stands out, and ***** *. from EcoWater SoCal absolutely deserves recognition. From start to finish, his professionalism, attention to detail, and customer-first attitude were exceptional.While EcoWater sent out an automated reminder in advance, ***** went a step further and personally called me the morning of the installation to let me know he was on his way. That kind of personal communication set a positive tone before he even arrived.Once on-site, ***** was prompt, respectful, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the system thoroughly, answer every question I had with patience, and ensure the installation was completed with precision and care. His attention to detail and pride in his work were clear from beginning to end.He also went above and beyondoffering help beyond the scope of the job, cleaning up thoroughly, and making sure I was completely comfortable with the system before he left.***** is not just a skilled technicianhes a hardworking, outstanding individual. Im rating at five stars because ***** was fantastic! He was very professional knowledgeable about my entire water filtration system and replaced my filters quickly and efficiently. On top of that he was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. Extremely disappointed with EcoWater's service for our Costco-warrantied water softener. We were quoted $175 for a service visit and replacement, which I confirmed would be the total cost. The technician arrived without the part, requiring a second visit. We were then billed $497.28 – nearly triple the original quote – with threats of collections when we questioned the inflated charge. Their communication has been terrible; our follow-up email has gone unanswered. Avoid EcoWater if you value transparency and fair pricing.EcoWater SoCal

We are sorry that you had a less-than-favorable experience with Ecowater. Since we were not the original dealer that you purchased from, we do our best to accommodate the request from Ecowater Corporate. We would like to ask if you could please amend your review to reflect only the service experience that you had with our company Ecowater SoCal. We have your service notes below. Please don't hesistate to reach out to us with any questions. The members whole house system was originally installed by Dupure which is a different dealer than us here. We are Ecowater of *******************. We were advised to contact them regarding a reported leak. However, since the member is located within our service area and ****** is based in *******, we provided the service directly.Upon initial contact, the member was informed there would be a $174 labor charge, which they were not satisfied with. They advised our customer support representative that they would be contacting ******, claiming they should not have to pay for labor.The member called back on 3/25/25 and scheduled an appointment for 4/3/25. A supervisor technician was dispatched and determined that a return visit was needed to redo the copper plumbing, as a new bypass and new copper yolks were required. The existing yolks had been pro-pressed by the original dealer, which prevented our technician from sweating them out.The return visit was quoted at $199 labor plus parts:Copper yolks: $35.13 Bypass valve: $79.28 We attempted to reach the member to schedule the return visit, but the call went to voicemail. All pricing details and part numbers were documented in the members account.On 4/21/25, the member called back and was again advised of the labor and parts charges. They insisted the repair should be covered under warranty, which is not accurate. This was the second time the member was clearly advised of their responsibility for the charges.The return was booked for 4/21/25, and the technician completed the work. At that time, the member refused to pay, falsely stating that they were never informed of the charges. The member reiterated that they would not pay for any of the completed work.Review fromKyle G

I had an issue with my RO unit. **** ****** came out to inspect it and fix the problem. The bottom line was the parts that needed to be replaced cost more than to buy a new unit. He returned 2 days later for the install. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything that I needed to know to make my decision to buy a new unit. Now I have a brand new RO with a better warranty and free service for 1 year. He also checked my water softener and replaced the drain pipe so it would work better. I highly recommend **** for all your water filtration questions.EcoWater SoCal
