      am less than pleased with AAA, if there was a zero star rating thats what they would receive.in fact I am furious. My dad ( AAA member going on 4decades ) called in for roadside assistance. First the quick response online service would work ( I even tried ) so we had to call in like we were wanting to open new service and wouldnt you know ! Immediate answer?? we had them transfer us to the roadside assistance and they said a truck would be there in 2 hours.2 hours passed and no tow truck ?? again tried calling in for the *** and there response yeah a truck will be there in 2hours! Are you kidding me!!!Then there only other solution for us was call a private company and pay for it yourself a loyal member of 4 decades left stranded on the side of the road with well call someone else this is disgusting ?? I would absolutely reconsider using and trusting AAA knowing that they will just leave your loved ones stranded on the side of the road with call someone else as there solutions. This will be escalated and will also be reported to the BBB.

      Our neighbor's sewage pipe - which is almost 100 years old- clogged up and flooded into our house. We had to remove all the floors, everything in the bathroom and the bottom two feet of the walls and have everything sanitized by an abatement team. They are insured by CSAA who denied our claim because they could find no reason they would be liable, despite two independent plumbing reports showing that it was water from our neighbor's sewage that caused the damage. Their agent was completely rude, unapologetic and awful to even speak to. She certainly did not care about anything other than making sure she denied responsibility. Just another case of corporate greed and awful employees doing the bidding of corrupt CEOs. Super disappointed in this company.

      Agent advised me that this would be at competitive cost. AAA charged me $900 dollars more for the exact service as a competitor.. I immediately cancelled the reservations with AAA and purchase the service from the competitor. The agent for AAA would not answer or return my calls. I sent her an E-mail documenting my cancellation of her reservations within the required time .Approximately two weeks later AAA sent me a refund of $1735 dollars which was not adequate I am requiring full refund because that is what the insurance requires.

      CSAA, also known as Triple A or California State Auto Association, provides reliable decent roadside assistance service (although the automated phone and texting system you have to endure before the technician arrives is a complete mess and full of misinformation and misdirection, resulting in frequent issues of your technician not being able to locate you). They also have friendly staffers in the most of their physical branches which sure beats dealing with the *** for issues that CSAA can handle, like car registration. But their corporate, accounting, phone customer service and online membership interface are beyond atrocious, and the agents are actually hostile - if you actually get one, after repeated disconnections - and if they actually say they can address your issue, rather than telling you it's not their department and directing you to yet another number. I would like to draw CSAA's attention to a particular membership customer service agent named **************** # ******, and suggest you listen to the recorded call at 8:15am on 8/8/2022 for an example of how your customers are treated. Well, FORMER customer. Wild horses could not make me do business with them again.

      I would add negative stars if I could. We purchased a **. I called to get the ** insured AND upgrade our road side service to include the **. We have/had all of our vehicles and home owners insurance through AAA & have auto pay on all. The agent I spoke with processed the ** insurance but unbeknownst to me did NOT process the towing. About a month later, our vehicle broke down on the highway, towing the ** and what do you know, AAA said we weren't covered for towing the **. We paid $1,000 out of pocket to tow and were met with a lack of regard or accountability for their error by AAA. I have repeatedly asked for a copy of the phone recording from when I requested the upgraded towing coverage and they will not provide unless I have a subpoena. My family including 2 young children were left on the highway, not fully out of the busy highway road for 4+ hours in 90+ degree heat with little to no cell service. 2 shifts of CHP had to sit behind our trailer to protect us from traffic. Apparently it is my fault for not knowing they didn't process the request for upgraded towing (when the agent at the time said they did). Horrible customer service, horrible treatment for long time customers. One of their agents even hung up on me when I repeatedly asked for a manager.
