I fully transitioned to using Papaya to pay my bills because I found them very easy and convenient to use. I don't need to go out just to pay my bills :)

A friend just recommended Papaya and I can say they are the best paying option I ever use. I don't need to bother going out just to pay my bills. Papaya is very convenient to use. Try them also!

This company charged $36 to my account that I did not authorize. This occurred about a month after I paid, in full, a medical bill that had to be paid through their app. I shouldn't have to pay $36 to pay off my medical bill. I did not authorize the charge. This company is a scam company.

Forcing me to pay a bill by using an online app was bad enough and I insisted on a web site, not app based. After finally getting a response with a web site to complete the payment, I was making payments on the total bill each month. Went to pay my monthly payment last night and the entire amount was processed as payment, not just my monthly payment. My banking center said they could do nothing, Papaya said they could do nothing, the doctor's ****** said they could do nothing. So, my entire bank account was depleted with no one being able to correct the error. Papaya's response: "Upon reviewing our records, I regret to inform you that as the transaction has already been completed, the ****** now has possession of the funds, and Papaya is unable to cancel the transaction or process a refund." My response: "I will not say "thank you" as you were no help at all. I will not say "good day" as you have certainly ruined mine. You have no need to correspond with me further, if you do, it will be considered harassment. I now see why you are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau." ************ with no recourse to the customer.

I used the epayitonline.com service to pay a medical bill. All of that went smoothly. However, it then came up with a confirmation screen with a progress-like bar at the top and a confirm button. It is extremely deceiving what I am confirming: paying the bill or something else.I clicking confirm thinking it was for the bill. Nope. Instead it registers me for information protection. That is extremely dubious and reduces any credibility in the company.

This Papaya started deducting ***** from my credit card each month. No phones will get answered. Just automated and then hung up on.. Through some messages through email I discovered charges are for some protection plan, they say I signed up for. I did not. Instead of giving me back the 2 payments = *****, they would cancel and give me back only $24.00. Then send me a email to see if I was satisfied with customer service. No, Im not satisfied. I did not sign up for this, so I want all the money back. They are even horrible with paying the doctor ***** I have had to call and pay bill over the phone.Email replies are only sent to me in the middle of the night, so definitely not in any US time zones.I dont know what my next step could be to get my money back. What a scam.

I checked my bank account on a medical bill I paid through Papaya and it was pending... however, there was another charge for from them for $8.00 I did not make.... from the reviews I am reading on this company several have had the same problem where they are having them charge their cards several times wiping out their accounts. I called to have my debit card cancelled... tho the charge is pending.. I am going to call the bank in the morning to ask them to allow my pending charges to go through... but it is a concern they would make future charges since they made a small purchase I didn't authorize. I don't think this company should be allowed to collect payments..

***IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED A LINK VIA TEXT INSTRUCTING YOU TO PAY A MEDICAL **** VIA PAPAYA, DO NOT PAY THE ***** PLEASE READ BELOW***I am a medical professional working in an emergency room in the **** Over the past 24 hours, I've had 8 patients contact me either in person or via phone about receiving a text for an outstanding balance for an emergency room visit. THIS IS MOST LIKELY A SCAM DUE TO A DATA BREACH. DO NOT PAY THE **** IN THE LINK BEFORE CONSULTING MEDICAL ****ING OR YOUR INSURANCE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU PAID A COPAY FOR YOUR VISIT. There are VERY few hospitals or medical clinics that will contact you via text relaying billing information. You will either receive a email, bill in the mail, or a phone call.Scammers are spoofing Papaya's mobile website domain in order to collect patient information/credit card payments due to a data breach. Unless you specifically applied for Papaya yourself to pay a bill either online or via the app, they will NOT contact you out of the blue to pay for a bill. Again, if you receive a text telling you to pay an outstanding medical bill through Papaya, please consult your hospitals billing department and/or your medical insurance company to verify if there is an outstanding balance.
