      Went to store in **************** was advise to buy bigger generator took it back within 10 hours charge me one hundred and 12 dollars for storage fee now no will return my phone calls garbage business

      Absolutely horrible customer service i went to the store paid and purchased a trailer the salesperson said the trailer will be delivered to the store in two weeks after i made the purchase i waited till the 22nd and when i call the store to check the delivery the tell me there is no trailer ordered or coming and i must have ordered it els where. I give them my number to look up as i am a long-time customer and im told the see my purchase, but they made the mistake somewhere and i have to wait 2 months if i want my trailer so i ask to speak to his manager when i am told the manager went home early and i would have to wait until he calls me tomorrow at his convivence. I contact the customer service at (********************************) to get a hold of someone that can fix my issue after i tell the lady what is going on she simply says that she sees the salesperson made the mistake putting the wrong pre-sale zip code or some error and that my option is to go get my refund or wait 2 months to get a trailer as they are made to order and come from overseas. Basically she is sorry and that's it, i thought i walked in a store with trained employees and good management in America to purchase my tools to find out Harbor Freight tools is anything but that. Now i have to go back to the place they call store to get my refund wait 4 days and find a better place to make my purchase. This is the worse store experience I've had in a long time do not recommend anyone wasting their money or time with this company they will make the mistake and not do anything to help fix it for you. Management is horrible and employees have horrible training if any.

      At time of purchase the cashier will always ask for your phone number which to me is a valuable and private piece of personal data. They will allow you to complete the purchase without it. The problem is that when you try to return a defective item, they will then ask for your driver's license number saying identification is required for returns, even if you have your receipt and packaging, even on same day returns. I get the impression that this company is in the business of data mining posing as a tool store.

      I won't buy from harbor freight anymore because I purchased a pole saw that the battery went bad after 3 months and now they don't sell replacement batteries so now I'm stuck with a saw that I can buy a battery for but when i went into the store still selling that brand at a reduced price wtf I use to buy a lot from harbor freight freight but not anymore period

      I have had the experience of purchasing a product at Harbor Freight that was defective. I called the store and the manager said to bring it back with the receipt and my money would be refunded. Upon returning the item I was charged a 20% restocking fee. Since this item was defective and already opened, it could not be restocked. The stores action may have been due to poor management; however, if this really is the corporate policy, to charge a restocking fee for a defective item, then it is bad business.

      Horrible customer service. Phone never answers. Takes weeks for them to fulfill an order and then they charge much more than it costs to ship it. Only thing good about them is their tools are cheap however usually the quality leaves much to be desired. After you wait a month or so for them to fulfill an online order one then has to wait for it to be picked up by the "slowest" shipping method they can find! If it weren't for the price, their online ordering system would stop. Better to pick it up in one of their stores if you can.

      This store lies to you and has no remorse. I got an email soliciting me telling me that the item i was interested in is on stock again at my local store. If you call the **************************************************************************************************************************************** stock on their website. Not only did I do that which was on the 4th of july but I also called the store before leaving my house which I was told it was in stock. Once at the store first I was told that they don't have it in stock and they checked online and it does show its in stock. Then the story changed to if somebody pre-ordered the trailer and it comes to the store for them to pick it up it will reflect the stores inventory online. I never heard of such a fish tail in my life with any other business. I have called to complain only to be told I have to wait 2 weeks for the district manager to call me which it really took two weeks and the district manager had no clue of any details of my situation and informed me they would call me back tomorrow once they where at the store. Next day I get the call from the district manager who then tells me the same fish tail store the store manager told me which doesn't make any sense. You guys are false advertising and wasting customers time. The store is an hour from my house and I wasted 2.5 hours of my life on the 4th of July due to false advertisement. The process is horrible to wait two weeks which was actually 2.5 weeks to have this situation addressed. Now I'm waiting another 2.5 weeks to speak with the next higher up with is the regional manager and still have not gotten a call yet. I had to reach out to corporate which I am told that the regional will call within a few days. Any other business you can get a Manger within minutes. Not harbor freight, their system is set up to make the customer frustrated and give up from waiting for a call back.
