December or January warranty company NSI sent out a technician from Tekniton to look at our fridge. They failed to show the first week, the second week they came and said I needed an inverter and a motherboard. two weeks later someone came and installed only a motherboard. The fridge worked until may. In may we opened another ticket for the same issue. Since then the repair company has come out 5 times and replaced parts several times. I have invoices from 3/29, 4/05, 4/19. One week one guy would come out and diagnose it, the next week another would come out and say he didnt have parts so he had to diagnose something, then someone came with parts. On 4/13 we came home and the fridge had flooded the floor in the kitchen, we have videos of how it was pouring out water constantly. Since that incident they have come once (4/19) and replaced something and told ** "that it didnt fix it and we need...." xyz. It is last week (5/3) they cancelled on **. We have to keep the circuit breaker to the kitchen off to make sure the fridge doesnt flood our kitchen or freeze up. Calling NSI has yielded no one to resolve this. When we called to escalate this two weeks ago (4/27) they said they would have a report for ** on Friday (4/29) they just needed information from the repair company. By monday (5/1) they had not called ** back and when we called them they had no idea of what we were talking about. Today (5/10) we called to escalate again and we are being told they need information from the repair company. No one at the repair company is willing to talk to ** or help ** escalate this with the warranty company and no one at the warranty company is willing to do anything for **.Initial Complaint

Our washer stopped working. No error code. We called ******** they connected ** to Tekniton for repairs as it was out of warranty. They visited ** multiple times and come back with a different diagnosis every time. Our first visit they said it was the main board and we paid $100 for the visit. The next visit the technician forgot the part. The third visit they replaced the main board and charged ** $268.83 for the service. The washer functioned for two cycles. The fourth visit they claimed it was either a bad board or the inverter. They indicated they would show up next time with both parts. The next visit nothing was done but the tech diagnosed the problem as a bad inverter and said he would order the part. Weeks have gone by with no word from Tekniton. We contacted them and were informed they no longer have access to the necessary part. I feel that they owe ** at the very least, a full refund.Initial Complaint

Tekniton was sent to my home by ******* to examine a problem with my refrigerator. The freezer was not working. They concluded it was an inverter board problem. They replaced the inverter board and told me to give it several hours to achieve proper freezer temperature. They charge me $407. The freezer never responded to the repair. ******* sent them back under warranty and they diagnosed the problem as a sealed system compressor problem which had nothing to do with the inverter board. They made several failed attempts, including at least one error in executing the repair, necessitating 5 trips after which ******* declared my $5,000 refrigerator unfixable. I requested the return of the $407 for the first repair that was made in error. Initially, the technician said that would not be a problem. I requested the refund repeatedly and after a dozen calls a manager (*********) called me to say that maybe the inverter board ALSO needed to be replaced and suggested that he could bring back the old board and swap it out and it was not broken then I could get a refund. I agreed to that resolution. No one ever came to my home. Tekniton stopped returning my phone calls. A quick look at their YELP reviews shows that this fits a pattern of misconduct for Tekniton. I want my money back for the first service call which improperly diagnosed my problem and charged me for a repair that was not needed.Initial Complaint

I purchase a ******* dishwasher from *********** Upon installation, there were clearly parts which were broken upon arrival. I tried to get replacement parts through ********** and ******* and ended up having to pay out of pocket. Fine. Then ********** and ******* customer service route you to **********************, the local service provider for repair. The technician tried to install the part and actually ended up breaking more parts! I watched him break the part and he says to me "Ok so this part is broken, what are you going to do about it?" I said "I am going to ask you to talk to your supervisor and get a replacement part so you can fix the part YOU BROKE". The technician gets on the phone and starts speaking Russian and then tells me there is nothing he can do after breaking my brand new dishwasher even further. He told me to call their office, so after kicking him out of my house, I did just that and called Tekniton's local number ***************) and they have hung up on me several times and will not pick up my calls or return them. I have tested it by calling on different phone numbers and they pick up immediately and once they figure out it is my case, they hang up on me with no warning. My refrigerator (purchased 03/2021) stopped working on 8/24/2022. I purchased extended warranty through CPS CENTRAL along with my fridge which expires in ****. Cps assigned Tekniton to repair my fridge. Tekniton has done everything to avoid completing the service order. An initial appointment was scheduled earlier this month which they canceled the day before due to "not having parts." I've been corresponding multiple times a week, with my warranty company as well as Tekniton since September 8 2022. Everytime I call Tekniton, they give me a different excuse as to why they cannot complete the order. -They can't find the work order -They are waiting on parts to arrive -They are waiting on an approval from CPS to order parts -The unit is out of warranty -My order has been canceled Today, 9/28/22, they said they haven't received the approval estimate after both I and CPS have forwarded to them multiple times. I requested a direct email address to the billing department to ensure the estimate is sent to the right place and I was denied that information.I received the initial approval from CPS on 9/12/2022 Upon reading reviews for Tekniton at the ********** location, this negligence makes sense. I am not the only one whose experienced their fraudulent operating techniques. They cancel appointments without notice or reason, make excuses as to why they can't deliver service that they promise, and they string people along that rely on their services for survival. I've been without a fridge for over a month now, and feeding my children is becoming difficult. They refuse to offer a solution even when it wouldn't take much effort to do so. I don't think a business should be allowed to operate the way they do, especially a business who is backed by a brand as large as ********Initial Complaint

On 9/21/22, I called ******* for my 75 inch tv went out. I was told by ******* that it is under warranty because I have had tv less than 12 months. ******* contracts this Tekniton to fix the tv. They did a repair order for 9/21/22. They never showed, called or anything. My wife and I waited at home all day. We did our daughters birthday at home for them to show up. So I called ******* on 9/22/22. They were able to speak with Tekniton and schedule an appointment 9/23/22. I called to confirm appointment today. Tekniton answers and just listens. The customer service part is not being met for a solution. I called ******* again and they said that they have had issues with this repair company not answering them. They show parts ordered for tv but that Tekniton is not communicating that with me. If Tekniton can't fix my Tv I want a new tv from *******. ******* really needs to contract another company to do their warranty work. I am not happy with their service work company. I went online to check Tekniton ratings are 2.2 stars. It seems that I am experiencing what everyone else is experiencing. Please help me resolve this issue.Initial Complaint

I am ******************************* roommate, she owns the fridge and the account is under her. My card was used for payment. Our fridge lost all cooling on 8/17/2022 and we initiated opening a ticket with ******* that night. ******* confirmed the compressor and sealed system were under warranty for parts and labor but the fridge itself was past its 1 year warranty. ******* opened ticket# ********** on 8/18/2022 and we spoke with Tekniton. They scheduled ******************** on 8/24/2022 for the service call. On the ticket ******* wrote "out of warranty" due to the expired 1 year warranty. The warranty information for the compressor/cooling system was available to the technician. Tekniton confirmed before the visit that if the issue was the compressor we would be covered and they could fix it. We knew there was a $100 service fee. The ticket stated "cooling/temperature/condensation issue/no cooling/ all room".******************** came on 8/24/2022, looked at the flashing error code on the fridge - "84C" - and concluded the compressor was locked & the sealed system needed repair. He did not remove any paneling from the fridge or try to test the mother board. Because the ticket said "out-of-warranty" he would not order parts or work on the fridge. He said ******* needed to put "S.A.W" on the ticket. He charged us $100, canceled the ticket and left.******* did not understand why he did not work on the fridge given the malfunctioning part was under warranty. We found out that Tekniton sent someone who was not licensed to work on cooling system issues. We scheduled another company to come out and were charged another service fee. We ended up getting a refund on the Fridge from ******* but they will not refund us the service fee charged by Tekniton because it was a "out of warranty charge" and we cannot get a hold of the Branch Manager for Tekniton in our area (******** ext. 111) to issue a refund. The service call was done in bad faith, and the service was incomplete. We expect a full $100 refund.Initial Complaint

I have been trying at schedule service under warranty for my ******* dryer with steam since 7/15/22. The dryer is 8 months old & purchased from ******* After troubleshooting with ******* over the phone, service set up through ******* support through Tekniton. Multiple attempts to contact, I try to call Tekniton back from their messages during the work day and I can never get through to anyone. I went to the physical office location in ***************, ** on 7/28/22 & spoke to a *** who was purported to be the manager, but had no business card to provide upon my request. *** stated they were having phone issues, & the owner is aware, but in ***********. He asked me if 8/2/22 would be good for a service call and assured me it would be the first appointment of the day. I have not received confirmation of this appointment, I have called multiple times yesterday & today to confirm, & no one answers. No messages returned. ********** scheduled Tekniton to do warranty repair on our 75" **. I spoke to a ******* rep. on 7/8 where they had me run diagnostics and text them pictures of the screen. They could not fix the problem and scheduled Tekniton. Tekniton ordered parts on and scheduled the appt. for 7/15, once the parts came in. We have the ** on a wooden cabinet ** stand (4' high); I helped the tech set the tv on the floor and told him to get me from the other adjacent room when he needed help. The tech repaired the ** and put the 75' tv with legs back on the 4' cabinet by himself (did not call out to me to help) and called me in to tell me it was all repaired. We stood across the room and he showed me on the remote, it was fixed. I noticed from across the room the smudge on the ** from his head and said he should have asked me for help but did not see any other problems. He asked me to sign the paper and left.That night as I was cleaning off the head smudge, I realized he had damaged the ** cabinet with the legs of the ** while putting back up by himself. There are clear scrape marks on the edge of the cabinet that line up with the ** feet. I sent an email (7/16) with pictures of the damage to the company the next day (Saturday) and by Tuesday had received no answer. I called twice and on the second (7/20) try got a hold of rgomez who asked me to email directly to her and told someone would call me. On 7/22, I sent another email asking when someone would contact me? I called today, 7/26 and was told they had no liability, the damage was already there and I signed saying so - which I did not. They refuse to do anything. I told them I had sent pictures of what the stand looked like while I was working with ******* diagnostics on 7/8 and there was no damage. The damage occured after *** put the 75" ** back up by himself which the pictures show.
