07/10/2023 - 35 Phone calls from their number 757-350-3594 soliciting my business for a 2015 Toyota Yaris that I never owned. They claim to be based out of Orange County, CA, but I can't find any tax ID or secretary of state connecting them to that location. They refuse to provide any verifiable information and are pushing to get me to sign up for a policy of some sort with them.Initial Complaint

I have been receiving fraudulent letters from the “Vehicle Services Division” for the past 2 years. Each of them come are marked with a USPS permit number and state that they are sent from St. Louis, MO. I don’t even live in MO, so red flag #1. They also all say “final notice”, and each of the past maybe 2 dozen “final notices” have referenced a vehicle I have never owned, a 2017 Chevrolet SS — Red flag #2. I have also never attempted to own it, and I’ve never owned a Chevy *period* until about 3 weeks ago when I bought a 2024 Trax. They also attach a fake looking check to the bottom that states it’s a voucher for $199, and in fine print on the very bottom of the letter it states “Not all consumers have previous coverage. THIS IS NOT A CHECK”. Red flag #3. Since I started receiving these letters, I moved addresses and I still continue to get them at my new residence. It’s exceedingly frustrating to keep getting this junk. It’s clearly an extended warranty scam, but it’s so frustrating that they keep sending me letters for a car I’ve never owned.Initial Complaint

Richard ****** of "Vehicle Services Division" left a fraudulent notice in my door (he didn't even pay postage to have it mailed!) The envelope says "FINAL NOTICE" and the message inside says that my warranty has expired or is about to expire (incorrect, I have over a year left on my warranty) and that I should contact Richard to extend it. How is this not committing fraud by claiming that he has the ability to extend my warranty, Volkswagen is the only entity with that authority.
Richard is a scummy lowlife for trying to run this scam on people.Initial Complaint

I continue to receive correspondence re: "the service contract on your vehicle". They threaten being "at risk"
I think it is terrible a company targets people, especially seniors, making them think this is official correspondence. Someone should make them stop!Initial Complaint

I am on the National Do Not Call List. Which means this company is breaking the law by sending me their misleading literature. Not to mention, when I called this company and asked where they are located, they would only state the city their office is in (Allegedly). When I went online to look them up, there is no such company listed under their name in that city. They listed their name as "Vehicle Service Division" and present their mailer as if it came from the Department of Motor Vehicles. And it has a fake check with no disclaimer that its "Just a promotion". Another company that scams elderly and the young unknowing kids. When I tried to get my information removed from their mailer/scam, they hung up on my multiple times. It appears as if there are only 4 people working at this location. And they all have fake call center sounds playing behind them. These scammers are the Pandemic and they need to be stopped!Initial Complaint
