Their contractors do not follow up. Waste of money.I had a claim open for over 4 months. My dryer was never serviced. When they sent a new technician out, they said there was something else wrong. Each time 85 dollars for a service fee. They did cover the fee at one point but then no one ever came to fix the dryer. Each time you call the same hampster wheel responses. Finally my contract was up and they wanted me to continue to pay for a service that I was not getting. I did not renew.Very sad waste of money.

I purchased a property in February. My ** started running continuously and I called it in mid-March. The technician came out and it is a filter similar to a car filter failure causing a restriction in the unit. 2-10 is saying it is pre-existing, but it happened weeks after I purchased the condo. I used the escalation process and they updated the warranty to the correct start date, but still rejected the claim. Never buy a warranty from this company. They were on the phone with me and the ** company and still denied the claim.

My ** unit went out over the weekend so I called 2-10 and they had someone come out, although we paid an extra $100 for them to come over the weekend because its Florida and its hot. After a week of no contact and no ** I called Monday (9 days after the original call for service) and they told me they still had another business day to review our claim but assured me they would be calling the next day. They did not, so I followed up again on Wednesday. Wednesday I was told that they would ask the other department to expedite the order of parts so the ** repair company could come fix it but what they don't tell you is that 2-10 orders the parts then sends them to the repair company so at this point I am pretty confident that my family will be without ** for a month or more. It should not take 2 weeks for the company to send parts let alone approve the parts to send to the ** company that they chose to do the work. I am beyond frustrated and will be cancelling as soon as the repair is eventually complete. Also a few months ago I had contacted 2-10 to send someone out to check my water filtration system, the service man was great and told me that 2-10 would again have to review the claim and they would be in contact. In the mean time I hired someone myself to come service it and see if he could do anything to make it run better which he did but 2-10 closed my claim and never responded. I wish I would have cancelled and found a better warranty then.

2-10 scam works with 210 warranty and their contractors. I figured this particular scam out with the plumbing side which I'm sure once I see other claims with Electrical, etc. I can figure out their scam as well. It's probably exactly the same The contractor collect the $75 deductiblethey have about 8 to 10 a day (do the math on that) now in the verbiage of your contract it clearly states that any Previous improperly installed items will be denied", any manufacturers defects such as gaskets or seals will be denied, or pre-existing damage is all clearly written as deniable claims. Now if the plumber goes to your home, he's been 15 minutes there you've paid him $75 or whatever the deductible is and if he realizes that this particular claim is going to cost more than their flat $200payout. The ************************************************************************************************************************************* pre-existing damage or say it was a gasket in the sink or gasket in the showerhead, causing the leak. All those verbiage is will instantly have your claim denied. Because if they do not want to do the job and they are not going to be profitable on that particular job so they make sure the claim is denied so they can move onto the next $75 quick easy money if you do 10 of those a day and nitpick and pick out one or two of the 10 that will be a quick $200 fix so they make 12 - 1400 bucks in one day just driving around denying claims. I brought this attention to the Attorney General in *******. However, homeowner warranties are governed by the financial department of the state of *******. When I contacted them, they weren't comfortable with basically accusing both sides, the contractors and the warranty company of fraud and that I would need more evidence and or more contract holders to come forward and show how their claims were denied. I feel is a huge class action lawsuit that needs further attention because to me this is nothing more than a scam.

My mother received a letter from this company, 2-10 HBW Warranty of California, which uses language to frighten a home owner into thinking that they need to immediately call to purchase a warranty for their home. Neither she, or my father has ever purchased such a warranty from this company in the past so I find it very predatory that they are sending such misleading information which seems to be directed to senior citizens who have been living in their home for a long period of time. The letter that was sent has no return address information or company information for that matter, so all of the information I have provided was searched for via the internet. I will keep the letter on file for the time being hoping you can deter future letter campaigns from this particular company. But I am certain they are not the only ones doing such practices to senior citizens.

This company did everything they could to not answer my questions and address warranty issues. I had problems with my heating system during winter and they dragged out providing an answer for a solid month. They figured out how to not help me after ignoring communicating with me for over a month. Thanks, **** Warranty.I would never buy a warranty with this company.. I am highly displeased with communication and lack of help from this company.

This company has been nothing short of horrible. I have filed two service requests with this company and the first request took 30 days to complete. I had to call at least 6 times to receive progress on the request. The warranty company selected a third party vendor to provide the work and that company was horrible. They were not honest about their services and the parts. My panel failed on the refrigerator and the vendor company came out and spent 5 minutes surveying the issue and informed me a part had to be ordered. When the part arrived, the vendor told me it was the incorrect part;however, when I reached out to ****, they provided information that the company had received the part and should have already been completed, to no avail. At any rate, it took them 30 days total to repair something as simple as replacing a panel on the door of the refrigerator. I wish I could find a reputable company that would stand behind their name and do what they are supposed to. I am searching for a new warranty company.

Run away. I have used **** in the past with good results. However, recently the service is terrible. Poor contractors. Paid only $800 for a water heater. **** said they will only pay for the appliance, not the install. That is garbage. Pretty sure homeowners cannot install a water heater so that cost another $800 with a crappie plumber they sent. I am a Realtor and have bought many of these warranties for my clients. NEVER AGAIN!

This company is NOT a good fit for me, they're NOT fair at all to the homeowner or the employees. Not aligned with their values. " DO THE RIGHT THING" it's all cap. A few of the superiors are UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, and plays favoritism. As an employee, we get so many escalated calls about claims that are denied when they're not supposed to and it's up to whomever to answer the phone to " fix it" instead of the agent who made the mistake. Homeowners call in UPSET every day!!!! Inbound claims have to fix other department issues, make excuses for the lack of communication and delays, its overwhelming. We can reach certain departments that's assigned to a certain task for an update yet, they can send claim department task to speak on their behalf. Very unorganized and other departments don't take accountability for anything pertaining to them. When you're ask to speak up in meetings about anything theres always push back and excuses.
