DO NOT PURCHASE!!! THESE GUYS ARE A SCAM!!!They make all kinds of excuses to not pay for things that are covered. Had an emergency over the weekend. I couldn't get a hold of them and their online portal wasn't working. We had no water to the house so I had a plumber come look at it as their recording instructed for emergencies. The leak was essentially fixed so there is no need for further work on it. I call to get the refund "as the recording instructed" and they are telling me that it is not covered because I fixed it without their prior authorization. So now I am not only out the cost of the plumber but also the cost of the warranty renewal. What ******** is that???

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent warranty claim for my washer under my 2-10 Warranty policy. It has been nearly three weeks since I initially submitted the claim on May 22nd, and my washer remains unfixed due to multiple issues with the service provided by 2-10 Warranty and its contractors. After filing the claim for my malfunctioning washer, I was assured by the contractor assigned by 2-10 Warranty that the necessary part was ordered promptly. However, to my dismay, I later discovered that the part they ordered was no longer available, leaving me without a clear resolution to my appliance issue.Following this setback, I was informed by 2-10 Warranty that they would reorder the part. Regrettably, when the replacement part finally arrived, it was used, further prolonging the repair process and leaving me deeply frustrated and inconvenienced. It is utterly unacceptable that almost three weeks have passed, and my washer remains in disrepair despite my active efforts to resolve the issue through 2-10 Warranty. This prolonged delay has caused significant disruption to my daily routine and has left me without a crucial household appliance.

This not a good home warranty company to use. They do not care about the customer. They will tell you anything to get you off of the phone and get your money

As a builder, I've worked with HBW 2-10 for over 10 years. They've always been great to work with. I have yet to need their services, so I can't comment on that portion of the process. I'm very disappointed to see the extremely low rating! Hopefully, they will work on their customer service issues.

This company is awful!! I had a plumbing issue over the weekend and of course they were closed, the issue cost me $1200 to repair and they offered to reimburse me $200. I thought this was 24hour coverage. Now I have another issue and I have been trying to get assistance for 2 weeks. Look somewhere else if you want a good warranty because this is NOT it!!!!!

My new build home has a 2 year warranty on electrical related to outlet issues. We were on our third power putage with a month left to go. **************** told me they NEVER pay put on electrical in year 2 unless the issue is not enough power going into the home. I hired an electrician who found a faulty connection. Realtor at Dream Home Finders said it should be covered. Sent pics to warranty CS. They are refusing to cover the repair. And yet, they sent me a form to extend the contract!? Nope!

They have so many loopholes and they will only cover one issue each time...so each time you must pay $100 for them to look at just one possible issue (i.e. you can't include a broken garbage disposal and a leaking pipe in one visit even though both could be completed by the same plumber in one visit). I have the premium service and even with that, loopholes on so much (i.e. preexisting issues that can't be proven so are not covered). They supposedly cover "code" issues such as gfci's but when the person arrived he told me 2-10 wouldn't cover it so he did not charge me the $100 since he couldn't do anything (so a complete waste of his time and mine!). Some of the better contractors are frustrated for sure...and other contractors take advantage since they're already there. Read the fine print!

I switched from Am Home Shield to 2-10 for a better price; HUGE MISTAKE. Although 2-10 looked good on paper; the customer service after making my 1st and only claim was the worst ever. My fridge died and they sent a service provider who said it only needed to have coils cleaned. I thoroughly cleaned the coils and entire underside of the fridge and it did start cooling only to die again the next day. I called 2-10 back 3 times over the next 12 days only to be told that they have not yet received the diagnostic report from the service and cannot move forward without it. Finally, they offered to send a different service provider to check the fridge but I would have to pay an additional $100 service fee again. With that offer, I cancelled my policy with 2-10 and demanded a full refund. A home warranty is worthless without customer service that can process your claim with a sense of urgency and understanding the huge inconvenience their customer suffers without a necessary appliance or system. They seemed not to care. Save yourself a lot of time, frustration, and inconvenience; find another company; I am.

Run as fast as you can away from this provider. I filed a claim for a HVAC unit, they initially denied the claim, then after an escalation they approved the claim, but they brought up a bunch of "non-eligible" charges that needed to be paid prior to sending the tech back out. This company is a total scam and I wish I never had to deal with them. A real estate agent sold me this terrible company, probably because he gets paid a commission from them, they will look for any reason to not approve your claim ,and their claims department is not easy to deal with.Like I said...they denied a claim, that should have been approved, if I didn't escalate, they would have walked away, only after I contested did they approve the claim, but only under the condition that I pay over $1,000 in unnecessary charges, I had this validated by an outside HVAC company and they confirmed that the "non eligible" items are just a detractor so they didn't have to approve the claim.
