The company has no contact available. Their website is not working. I cannot file a claim online or by phone because no one picks up the phone. I have water leaking from an appliance and is ruining my hardwood floors. Very dissatisfied.

If youre considering 2-10 Home Warranty for peace of mind in your new home, let me save you some stress and moneyrun in the opposite direction.Within two weeks of moving into my newly-purchased home, we encountered serious water pressure issues and inconsistent heating. A plumber quickly diagnosed the problem: an old, corroded pressure regulator on the main water inlet, letting water into the house at over 100 psiwell above safe limits. This was not just an inconvenience but an urgent issue that needed immediate repair to prevent catastrophic damage.Knowing that my 2-10 home warranty agreement explicitly covers pressure regulators, I initiated a claim while authorizing the plumber to fix the emergency. Thats where the nightmare began.First, I spent hoursand I mean literal hourson hold, only to be told that out-of-network plumbing repairs are capped at $250 (minus the $100 deductible, of course). For reference, the repair cost $1,600. What is the point of a home warranty if it fails to provide meaningful support in a covered, time-sensitive emergency? And lets not forget, the average 5-day turnaround for in-network service advertised on their website was laughably unrealistic given the urgency of this situation. The customer service experience was somehow worse than the financial sting. Every representative I spoke to seemed trained not to help, but to frustrate and deflect. There was zero empathy, zero effort to understand the urgency, and zero willingness to provide solutions. Instead of alleviating stress during a crisis, 2-10 actively contributed to it.The only silver lining is that their service agreement allows for pro-rata cancellation. Ill be recouping most of the money I wasted on this utterly useless warranty. If youre considering 2-10, save yourself the headache and put that money into an emergency repair fund instead. At least then youll have a shot at real peace of ********* stars if I could.

If I could do 0 stars I would. This company is a scam and I am well within my rights for a refund as I have not been serviced for NONE of the requests I have put in. I have been waiting for months for them to come out and fix my sprinkler system under the warranty plan I have been issued. I would NOT recommend this service as they do not adhere to the customers at all.

I wish I could do 0 star for 2-10 warranty , they are scammers, I open the claim online for my water dispenser and I talked to them few times before they send the vendor to the unit, after diagnosis they said we need to order the hose and replace the old hose and that didnt fix the issue ,so they came back and did the 2nd diagnostis and they charge me $100 for service and delayed to send the vonder to diagnose for 2nd time since the issue wasnt solve and since it was the time to renew my insurance with them they keep postponing the diagnosis so I renew before they reject the claim .after I renew the insurance they send the vendor to see why even after changing the hose still not working and here the best part to come out AFTER CHARGING ME $100 deductible and renewing my policy and wasting my 2 months they SAID WATER DISPENSER IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY ,are you kidding me you didnt see in a first place what was the claim for !!!!! even the agent apologize and said they will credit back that $100 dollar but now is 20 days past and I dont see the credit on my account

This is a horrible company and a complete scam. We bought a new home and the builder provided this useless BS new home warranty. Seems like every claim submitted gets rejected or excluded because the item was installed under their so called Construction Performance Guidelines which is ridiculous since you are reporting a failed or defective product or faulty install. Never experienced such a deceptive warranty process for a new home. Be glad when it expires in a year because its worthless. Dont waste your money on this sham!

I started a service request for my refrigerator about the freezer section not working in May 2024, it is now December 2024 and the freezer is still not working. The first contractor pocketed the service fee, promised to come back and fix it in a few days and never returned. The second contractor never picked up the phone and did not accept messages. After numerous calls the company representative at that time told me after searching for several minutes that they cannot find a contractor that can take care of this in the DFW area. She advised I go out of network and find somebody to diagnose the problem but wait for approval before getting it fixed. The outside contractor give me a bill for $2000 for parts and labor. I promptly submitted the bill to the warrantee company who in turn rejected it and said that if I wanted to get it fixed they will pay $1000 dollars max because I went out of network. I asked them to find me an in-network contractor, this contractor came the first time and acknowledged that the freezer was not working and the refrigerator was also not performing appropriately but could not diagnose the exact problem. The warranty company turned around and said that the contractor told them there was nothing wrong with the refrigerator. I called the contractor again and he told me that this was not what he had conveyed to the company, at this point the company said they will send the contractor again, he then again told them that the fridge was not working and the parts needed were also mentioned. The company then said that ** does not make the part anymore and they would replace the appliance. The problem is that they offered a 36 x 70 inch unit for a built in that was 42 x 84 inches or $1100 to buy my own unit. The cheapest refrigerator to cover that area would be $8000. I have the luxury package with the dollar amount of $5000 for a refrigerator. But they said whether I have the luxury package or not the max they are going to pay is $1100.

I had heat exchanger leakage where 2-10 contractors dont even schedule a visit over 6 days, had to check with other licensed contractors who diagnosed to replace the whole unit due to a health hazard. This was conveyed to 2-10 on due time and was asked to call them back once unit is installed. When it was installed, after waiting over 45 min in the line, a very rude agent handled my claim and offer $500 for a unit I had to buy for $11,500. Interestingly she lied as my contractor told that it was a minor repair when my unit was shut down due to hazards and sealed. Getting a feeling of cheating.

I am writing to formally complain about my experience with 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty concerning an HVAC issue at my home. Despite following the warranty process, I have encountered multiple issues and the problem has yet to be resolved. The contractors sent by 2-10 to address my HVAC are always the cheapest that can be found. The issue is never resolved just botched. We have not had a functioning HVAC system since April 2024. We have made multiple requests to have the unit replaced, but nothing is ever done. We have the highest coverage offered. The last contractor that was sent further complicated matters by improperly cutting wires on our zone pane, an action they were not authorized or supposed to perform. Communication from 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty has been severely lacking. The wait times are atrocious. There is no one assigned to cases. Just different representatives each time you call. I have not received adequate updates on the status of my claim or a resolution timeline. Each time I call I'm placed on hold for over 15 minutes and told that someone will reach in ***** hours. I have been left to follow up repeatedly without clear answers or accountability from 2-10. If you can avoid using this company please do so. My customer rating is 0 stars. The 1 star is by default.
