    2-10 home warranty has done nothing for me. All they do is apologize for my builders incompetence. It amazes me that they still call me to see if I want to buy extra coverage.

    This company is a scam. I put in a service ticket 4 weeks ago to have my HVAC system serviced. Well it took long enough to get a contractor to come out. When they did 2-10 said it would be 5 business days to order the part. Well I waited 5 days and no part has been ordered. My HVAC unit still has not been repaired nor has a part been ordered. I had to go through another company to have my HVAC fixed. Go figure. This company has been the biggest waste of money. I have read other reviews of 2-10 doing the same thing to other people and their HVAC units. Very disappointed in this company!!!

    This is to alert others to be careful about solicitations from home warranties. . I received a solicitation by postal mail from HBW of California on Nov 13, 2024, advising me that my property's warranty with a mortgage record on file naming the mortgage company "may be expiring or may have already expired.""Failure to call and prevent a potential lapse of coverage could result in you being liable for all costs associated with any home repairs..""It is important to contact our office at____receiving this notice to avoid any unnecessary delays in your coverage."But I do not have a home warranty with HBW..I view their letter addressed to me as threatening.******* S

    Company is terrible. They dont respond fast at all. This is a very low budget, give you the runaround, do things cheap as possible company. My A/C went out and all they keep telling me is we have someone scheduled but nobody ever called. Then they had the nerve to tell me to call the contractor myself. Thats why Im paying you!!!! This company is a joke I cant wait until my contract is over with them

    I've been waiting over a month with no hot water, the part needed to fix it keeps getting cancelled and reordered and when I call them they tell me I have to wait for the part. Then they follow up with stating they are a 'repair company, not in the business of replacing when in my contract says that they can make the decision to replace if needed. My water heater is 2 years old, and this is the second time it has broken. They do not do anything to help, and I'm looking into breach of contract legal action. Do not use this company if you can help it.

    I purchased a home warranty for $645 for one year. Our water heater stopped working on Friday, October 18, 2024, and we submitted a work order. A contractor came the same day and informed us that the water heater needed to be replaced. I called the warranty company on Monday, October 21, 2024, and they said they would order the new water heater. I was informed that I just needed to pay the uncovered amount of $800 to the contractor, and they would send the order for the new water heater.I called the contractor, paid the deductible, and waited, but I didnt hear from anyone. So, I called the warranty company again on Thursday, October 24, 2024, only to be told that, unfortunately, I have a coverage limit that I was unaware of. Despite paying for their higher warranty plan, they now refuse to supply the water heater. On October 21, 2024, they told me one thing, and by Thursday, they changed their stance and said they would not cover it. I have been unable to reach anyone at the company; no manager or representative will return my calls. This has been the worst experience Ive had with a company. As a single mother with kids, and it feels like they are taking advantage of my situation because they know I am alone. This has been a terrible company to deal with, especially in such a challenging situation.

    ZERO STARS. Our water heater broke and we filed a claim over a week ago. They had someone out here the next day and filled out the paperwork to get a new one. Over a WEEK with no water and they keep saying theyre trying to find a replacement. They have no notes of any of our calls or information. They wont let us talk to a supervisor to get this handled. We still have no water heater. They keep telling us one thing then doing another. ****************. Do not use them.

    Ive been waiting for a month to get a new Hot water heater. After filing the claim, they got the plumber to my house quickly, but then I didnt hear from the warranty company again for a week. They called me to say theyve been trying to get in touch with me for five days but a review of my calls and emails showed no such contact had taken place. They needed me to approve overage charges that they would not cover. I said fine I just need a water heater. after that, they would call back periodically saying were trying to find the right water heater for you, but we will expedite it. Another week would go by get another call saying we are trying to find the right water heater for you but we will expedite this time. then another week would go by and they say were close to purchasing your water heater, but we will expedite it. They tell me different stories to satisfy their needs, but they are never concerned with my needs. This company is a rip off never ever use them. Youll get slow service and youll get no transparency and youll get the runaround throughout the process. Do not use them!!!

    Such a scam stay away from them! they are charging us $100/month claiming they cover hvac and when the hvac is broken they say we owe $3,000 and they are only covering $2000! greedy corporation!

    In May 2024 my refrigerator stopped working. I logged onto their website and found out that I was eligible for a replacement refrigerator. Sounded too good to be true, so, I called and the representative confirmed the same story.
    We found a refrigerator that we liked, bought it and had it installed.
    Today, September 19, 2024... still NO reimbursement from 2-10. Their customer service keeps bouncing us from one rep to another, but, no reimbursement check..! (as promised on their website & confirmed by the first phone call)

    "We will reimburse you in accordance with your authorization, subject to all dollar limits, exclusions, non-covered costs, or other coverage specifics in your Agreement. Any approved amount will be reduced by your Service Fee. Please allow 30-45 days to receive your reimbursement check."
