      I have been reaching out to express toll repeatedly over the last 4 months in order to address potential toll fee's due. My account with them was deactivated without my knowledge or any notification from Express toll and they have refused to respond to any of my inquires after multiple attempts. They have requested once to breach my right to privacy and expose financial information as well. I want this balance resolved but they will not respond to me.

      E-470 has continual billed us for a vehicle that has been using the toll system in the ****** area. We sold the vehicle more than a year ago. I have provided proof that we have sold the vehicle, I have called more than 10 times to clear this issue up. The vehicle is now registered out of a completely different state. I have been told that "it is our problem to prove we don't own this vehicle anymore". When I investigated this issue, I was told this company is trolling previous owners when the current owner is not paying. The fact of the matter is, we are a Kansas based ************************* Not a single one of our vehicles EVER EVER crosses any Kansas state line. Period. Today, I received another notice due, this time in the amount of $41.80. This is atleast the 4th time they have tried charging us. I did not keep track of the first several, because I thought the problem had been handled. I have not paid any of these amounts, but I am sure that other individuals/companies have since they are known for trolling previous owners. If this shows on our Cooperative, LLC credit report, our lawyers will be contacting them.

      Thank you for reaching out to us,

      We apologize fore the inconvenience.  After some extended research we were able to locate the registered owner of the vehicle.  When a vehicle is sold in ****** the plate should be removed and stay with the seller and not with the buyer.  This will guarantee that there is no misuse of the plate as can sometimes unfortunately happen.  Through out license plate toll process we reach out to states local motor vehicle based off of the registered information at the time of usage and this is how we are required to bill.  The new vehicle owner does have an Expresstoll account with us and has updated the account.  The transactions have been removed from ****** ************** Coop and no further action is necessary.  Customer can reach out to us for any further questions.

      ExpressToll entered our license plate from 10 years ago incorrectly into their image processing system. They have admitted to this verbally and in writing. However they only did that AFTER issue a civil penalty against me and sending me to a debt collecting attorney firm. This is harassment and extortion based on poor operating practices by ExpressToll. How are they allowed to assess fees, civil penalties and forward individuals to law firm for collections without validating they are not in the wrong?

      Express toll advertises hov lane on i-25 the signage says nothing about needing an account and transponder. It wasn't until I called to dispute a bill that they said I needed those things to use the hov lane for free.

      This business, E-470 Public Highway Authority.com, is billing our company based in **********, for toll road use in the state of Colorado by a vehicle/trailer with a license plate, they claim, is registered to our business. Our company only does business in ********** and has never done business in ******** or used the toll road in question. The billing is very vague, only the license plate and our billing address but doesn't provide any supporting documentation from other sources such as a *** report or pictures, etc. Upon contacting them via email telling them we've never owned this vehicle or used the toll road stated in the billing, their response contains the same vague details with no supporting backup documentation and only suggests our company obtaining a letter from the *** indicating the license plate in question is not registered to our company, or provide proof of sale of said vehicle, which is impossible to obtain since we've never owned a vehicle with the license plate indicated. Please warn customers!!!

      For I am unable to determine this statement for it contains no valuable information such as the license plate number, the location of where the assumed photo was collected concerning the Bill. For I am unable to determine where you have discovered my address to bill a false statement such as this. For the ?? question?? For The license plate number is nowhere on this Bill therefore it is a false statement. No proof that any auto licensed to me has been involved herein, or the location for when this assumed presumed issue might or might not have happened. This statement does not clearly tell me any information about my involvement with your service in fact, You see, during recent times my truck was stolen, within this time of your assumed-presumed issue, I do not see any statement of facts to read, or view, I do not see any reason that I have received this bill, for it is stated as an assumed-presumed service that you did not explain in any form, And you are billing falsely herein. I have proof that not I -but the thieves who stole my automobile of recent may have been driving the phototized license plate during that time. And until the automobile was recovered by the police, which took about 30 days, the drivers of the truck with my license plate was not driven by me but "theives" who have been caught,probably caught on your camera service and I have the police reports.And Why does not your Etoll-License-Plate-Toll system does not give a citizen a way to present their side of the story, Why is that ability to see what you are statementing to me not given to me, I am not finding my rights protected but exploited, I will remind you and your company this State of Colorado is under the Constitution of the State of Colorado protecting my rights as a citizen, and I claim those rights and also the rights guaranteed by the Common Law of the United States of America in the Constitution of the *************.

      We apologize for the delay.  It appears that the customer might have been looking at second or 3rd notice which will only include only a past due balance for transactions that have not been paid once they are billed in detail on the first statement.  I have included the first statement which outlines detail of each transaction plus date of each. This first bill was generated around the beginning of February.  The vehicle in question is with a temporary plate.  Customer did inquire to our service center around mid April and indicated the vehicle was stolen.  We have dismissed transactions and will file her paperwork in our database once it is received.  To ensure no future transactions are incurred in customers name we encourage customer as well to cancel *********************** with local motor vehicles as well as file the police report.   All our registered information is received from motor vehicles when a customer uses the road and goes through our license plate toll process.  Customer can reach out to us for any further questions.  Thank you for your understanding.

      On April 8th 2024, my father, *************************, received a letter in Gulfport MS for a toll road that I, ***********************, apparently took in October of 2023. The bill was $38.45 and was 25 days from being taken to court because they were sending to an address that I no longer lived at. They somehow found my fathers address and sent him the aforementioned bill. I called the **470 *********************** and explained that I no longer lived at that address and haven't for the last three years due to military reasons. The representative said that they were able to remove the late fee, but because the business already paid collectors, I had to pay the $20 fee applied to my bill. It seems confusing to me that they require the person being billed to pay for their mistakes. My original charge was $13.45, but with the charges applied it went up to $38.45. After speaking to the representative, my final bill was $33.45. I would like just a refund of the $20 fee applied, since it was my fault for not noticing the road I was on was a toll road in the first place, but I fail to see how I am responsible for the $20 collectors fee when the bill was sent to the wrong address and that was the only form of contact they attempted.

      After speaking to an agent about my account and making a payment, my account was not updated and I had more than 800 dollars in fees. They placed a hold on my registration and won't lift it. They charged me at a higher rate because my account was not updated. They said they would settle it for more than 900 dollars. Meanwhile I am not able to afford this and I can't register my car. I am having to ask for rides and restructure my life for this inconvenience

      Got divorced Jan 2011. Ex-husband has not lived at my address for 13 years now. I started receiving his Express Toll statements shortly after he was in an automobile accident. I contacted ExpressToll to inform them not to send my ex-husband's mail to my address. I told them: 1) he hasn't lived here for over a decade; 2) he suffered a stroke on 6/4/22 while driving; his car was badly damaged (screenshot proving accident report was filed by the ************************ on 6/4/22, attached); 3) his car was impounded & eventually demolished so he no longer even owns a car (copy of impound notice attached); 4) our daughter moved him to **** in August 2022; 5) he has been residing at an assisted living facility in **** (*****************, ************) since August 2022. Despite my notifying Express Toll of these things over a year ago, they continue to send his monthly statements to my address. After our divorce I had to repeatedly report to the three major credit reporting agencies that my ex does not live at my address & has not lived here since our divorce. It took YEARS for me to get him removed from MY credit reports. Now that Express Toll has been sending HIS mail to my address, I'm afraid the credit reporting agencies are going to start listing him on MY credit reports again. I tried writing "NLA" & blacking out the scan codes on several of his statement envelopes before putting them in the mailbox, as I was instructed to do by my local ************ but it made no ************** kept getting his ExpressToll statements every month. My ex-husband DOES NOT LIVE HERE! I want ExpressToll to stop harassing me, and to stop potentially messing up my credit, by sending HIS statements to MY address every month. It is a violation of my ex-husband's privacy to send his mail to my address! I want them to STOP sending my EX-husband's mail to my address.

      This ridiculous entity charged me $5 last month and a $5 late fee for a car no longer in my possession. It hidesbehind state laws and ignores common sense and evidence that shows I am right.I sold car in May 2023 to dealership . $5 violation fee happened in October 2023. DMV of my state says car was sold end of may 2023. I showed them a bill of sale and power of attorney from the dealership for me giving up the car. I live hundreds of miles away from ******** and havent been in ******** at all for 2023. These statements can be proven!! Also, I dont even have a license. What is wrong with these money hungry people to understand this is ethically wrong !!??? Entity refuses to contact my state or the dealership for resolution. This same vehicle also had a toll violation in ****** with the new owner. ****** dismissed, but this unethical entity still sticks me with this bill. This bill is not going to hold up in collections, and the State should be embarrassed of Express Toll! I will not pay a ***** to these imbeciles!!Please resolve!!!!!!

      After further review of the documents the customer sent, we have determined that they should have been accepted.  The transactions have been taken out of customer name and reassigned to the correct owner, no further action is needed, and no payment is due.  We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused the customer.    We do recommend the customer contact their local DMV as the dealership who purchased it used customer's ***********************, since they were left on at time of sale.  This will ensure customer does not receive any future bills with this plate number, in any event the person who purchased it still has them on.  Customer can feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
