This information is collected on a County, City, State and federal level and can also come from reporting information during normal every day activities such as grocery store club cards, magazine subscriptions, voter registration, warranty cards, even fishing licenses, and forms you fill out when browsing the internet. There are thousands of ways this information gets reported.

The website Fast Background check makes it impossible to remove your personal information. I had an issue with them some time ago as I had a former employee use this as a means of stalking. There is no way to remove my personal information from your website. The recommended link, "Do not sell my personal information..." does not work. I've tried calling...no one answers the phone. The instructions on their answer machine to remove personal data is incorrect and cannot be completed on their website. The company is illegitimate; otherwise, the operators would provide an easy way for people to remove their personal data. A legitimate company would respond or answer the phone.
