  Wonderful experience with Armstrong Steel. They are knowledgeable and the customer service is fantastic. If you can, talk with ******. He was able to accurately explain everything. We were able to work out exactly what my project needed and keep it within budget.

  Overall the experience was great. My project manager was always there to answer questions and he was very attentive. This is my first steel building and I was able to put it up with my dad. Armstrong was great and I am happy with the quality.

  In deciding on a building, I spoke to Chip at Bergen Landscaping who had purchased an Armstrong building. He was very satisfied with his building and with the support he received from Armstrong after his purchase. I have been very satisfied with my building. Erection went with no problems.

  I wish I had known about the class action allegations and myriad complaints against Armstrong Steel and its deceptive practices before I engaged with them. Like so many others, I was sold a bill of goods on what Armstrong would deliver for a fixed price and was subsequently told that if I wanted the building to actually be usable (for example, a shed with doors), those would require a change order and a commitment for a significantly higher price. Despite the fact that I paid Armstrong over $63,000 in deposits, I encountered regular issues with them including non-responsiveness to almost all of my attempts to contact Armstrong, and when I could get in touch with someone, I got passed along from representative to representative. It took Armstrong so long to get back to me about the status of my order that I had to cancel because the building season where I am located in ********* would have ended by their proposed delivery date. I also never got final construction drawings from Armstrong, so I could never confirm the specs for delivery even if they upheld their commitment to provide my structure on time. Eventually I had to hire an attorney to try to get my $63,000 back, and Armstrong filed an arbitration against me claiming that I owe them even more money under their terms and conditions (buried on their website) despite what I believe to be their complete failure of performance. Remarkably, Armstrongs same terms and conditions require the party filing arbitration to pay the costs, yet Armstrong has refused to abide by their own agreement while trying to claim Im the one who hasnt followed the rules. I have a lot of experience in the building industry, and to me, this type of behavior is completely unethical and improper. I have asserted my own claims in arbitration back against Armstrong and I am confident about my chances of success.

  Firstly, the majority of the additional costs incurred were due to the 2 overhang that was added and the insulation that was purchased. It was described clearly in the order form that this was not included. Secondly, Armstrong Steel did not promise any specific delivery timeline your contract, nor was a specific delivery date requested. After the completion of your final design in May we provided permit drawings in June. We were on track to deliver your building in September, which we were expediting at no cost to you. Your decision to cancel was made prior to this delivery window.

  My Armstrong Steel building turned out exactly how I envisioned it would be, from concept to finished product. All sales representatives were courteous and knowledgeable. Some product arrived damaged during shipping. All damaged pieces were replaced in a timely manner, before construction began. I use my building almost everyday and I am happy with the finished result.

  My experience with Armstrong Steel was seamless. I wish working with other people was as easy as the staff at Armstrong made buying a building. We have had hurricanes and other severe storms come through here, and my Armstrong building doesn't have a scratch on it. I wish my other two buildings were from Armstrong. It's tough, it's durable, and you get what you pay for.

  It was a great experience from the first phone call to the delivered building. The staff and representatives that I deal with wre very helpful and professional. Now that the building is completed you can see the high quality.
