      Wow, something has really changed at ENT. I spoke with a customer service representative today who was snippy and seemed like she just did not want to help me. I've been with ENT since **** and have never had an unfriendly person answer the phone. I'm not leaving yet, but if this new way of treating customers becomes a pattern I will consider it.

      Ent is a very non compassionate bank. I encourage anyone to remove their services with them. When my brother was in the hospital we had a POA drawn up with myself and his daughter as his representatives. As he laid dying with cancer my niece stayed by his side and I went and ran errands for them . My brothers request that everything including the car he financed through them be left to his daughter. The bank wouldnt talk to me, they wouldnt acknowledge anything even though we had legal documentation. They expressed that it was THEIR policy that they will only talk to his daughter as her name was listed first. That they only way they would talk to me is if she died. It was unethical and inaccurate as well as illegal. Of course she wasnt going to leave his side. He died a few days later. Upon his death the bank froze everything of his. And it took my niece months to get his belongings. This bank is cold hearted and ignorant. I pray no one else suffers from the injustice of this obscene company and their idiotic policies.

      So that was back in December, I have since heard nothing about this matter and we are going on 5 months. Please believe that I am not forgetting the way that we were treated during the time of my brothers death. Or how the bank is treating my niece now over that car. Please understand that I am not a dummy in anyway and that we have rights. You will. It surpass, forget about or go over us as if we do not matter and by attempting to do so you are guilty of exactly what I called you out for. In the phone call you stated that I am correct, how we were handled is inaccurate and that them disregarding a legal document is false, which is great but I already knew that.please do not think for two seconds that this stops here. Pain and suffering, embarrassment, harassment and general idiocy especially from the ********* branch is what Im dealing with as well is the incompetence of the bank with my niece and the car. We will not be ignored and we are definitely not going away. What ent did was shameful, he was dying and has now passed and that will never be forgotten how you all responded during.

      My wife and I recently applied for a "cash out" mortgage with Ent C.U. on our fully paid off $800K home in ***********. We were considering a winter home purchase in AZ., but decided no to do it. We had already paid for the most expensive appraisal in my lifetime (I'm 72) of $755. The last time we bought a house in 2008, the appraisal fee was around $350-$400. I confronted our mortgage agent about this fee and he said, "we just pass on what we are charged with no markups." That's not entirely true because I got a breakdown from his boss and the appraiser was paid $350 and there was a $345 "management fee" from the company they use from ******** that oversees the appraisal and another $55 to Ent. I just felt I should share our experience for other potential borrowers from this C.U. At the advice of my mortgage agent, I looked into opening a savings account because it's required to be a member and get a loan and they had a $150-$200 offer going on for any new customer. When I found out they were going to do a "soft credit check" on us I said, no thanks. They had just done a hard one about **** days earlier for our loan. Our credit scores are always around 800+/-. Why do they need to do a credit score check when a customer wants to open a savings account? I've never experienced that before with any other savings/checking account I've opened. So, I would not recommend doing business with this company as there are plenty of better sources out there. Do your homework and use someone else.

      Absolute worst! Had our account since 2011 with no issues until they got sued in a class action suit that they had to pay out on. For starters they closed access to our account online after missed payments on their scam COVID loan back in 2020, I had been in direct contact trying to work with them because my husband lost his job due to COVID we're still trying to recover but it's been one thing after another. One loan they supposedly gave us we weren't aware of, they sent the loans to collections which sued us another thing we were not aware of until getting a lien notice. We have our mortgage through them we've had issues prior to COVID as our company had to close down but had made payments not to long before the shut downs and job loss we requested a forbearance, granted, at a time in 2021 while everything was still closed down we had stashed away $5,000 to give them. Not having access to our account online which was not only checking/savings but our mortgage account I called to pay over the phone guess FHA loans can't be paid via phone was told to use an ATM or teller. Debit cards didn't work anymore so ATMs a no go and lobby's weren't open yet. So technically we were denied options to pay. Inevitably that money had to be used towards other bills that were stacking up along with necessary items to "survive" during all the chaos. As usual I've been in contact letting them know we're still struggling to get out of this rut from COVID while I'm dealing with after affects last y been to the ** twice from what COVID did (heart failure and kidney issues) that's I've asked for assistance I've asked they reinstate online access I've tried getting them to work with us. Nothing just a letter in 2021 threatening foreclosure another letter the other day from lawyers demanding $30,000 to a demand to sell notice today from another lawyer. Client owned my a** Ent is scamming every member that has an account they should be investigated for deceptive practices and fraud.

      Opened a new account with ENT on 9/23, on 9/26 ALL three credit reporting agencies notified me that I took a 9 point hit from ENT doing a 'soft' credit query to open a savings account with actual MONEY.The is NO such thing as a soft credit query.This 'soft' query is a minimum of 5 points on your credit report.It will remain on your credit report for TWO YEARS.You cannot transfer money OUT of any ENT account for SIX MONTHS.The staff there - tellers, managers (if you can find one) ARE totally pulling one over on new members.They could pull a consumer report and get the SAME information that their 'SOFT" credit pull gives them without AFFECTING your credit score.They should perform SOFT credit checks on each other and actually KNOW what they are telling their new members. Thanks for the great treatment of military personnel.

As you are aware through our subsequent conversations, we did reach out to Experian and received an email confirmation from them that only a soft inquiry was pulled by Ent relative to this matter. We do realize that you have indicated you were informed otherwise via email by other credit bureaus. Long story short, we are not certain how a mix-up occurred and, again, we apologize that this experience did not go as expected for either side.       I have no problem at all with Ent Credit Union checking and saving. They are AWESOME!! The problem is the credit card that they issue out from Ent Credit Union. Initially I accidentally gave them the wrong account number with insufficient funds and they overdrafted my account. No problem I understand that was my fault. But then the next day they did the same payment again and over drafting my account again then again the following day again. I contacted the bank and they confirmed that the credit card company tried to make the withdrawal again.. so I contacted the credit card company and they seem completely oblivious to the situation. I tried to make the payment through another account that I had already set up with them, but i backed out at the last minute because I do not feel safe with this company anymore having my account information. They seem unable to send me a paper copy of my statement.. I ended up having to shut down that entire account to prevent them from continuously overdrafting my account. If they had simply been knowledgeable enough to give me the proper information to begin with, I could have just ran over there and put some money into that account. But they insisted that it was not them that continuously to overdraft my account. Then they manipulated the statement to change the dates on which they were charging my account. The only way to make a payment through this credit card is through snail mail and letting them overdraft any of my accounts I give them access to.. very disappointed that Ent Credit Union is affiliated with this credit card!!
