Ac thermostat is now overheating and not working. Middle of summer and 1 year since installing and spending 15k on this air conditioner and Ive had no less than 5 issues with it not cooling properly. *******, it was my understanding that we were able to resolve your issue (we installed a brand new AC and ran a new low voltage wire from the control board to the new thermostat we also installed). Was there a reason you still had this review up? Was there something else we needed to do to take care of your system? ****, I have looked at the pictures of the air conditioner coils and the blower section of your system and they were filthy. It took my tech 3 hours and 45 minutes to complete your service and after his work your system looked brand new. But if you're unhappy with the service, simply give me a call and we'll discuss it. I had a leak from a flexible pipe to a ****** atop my water heater. There was a lot of calcium buildup, so the tech couldn't tell how bad it was. He looked up on his computer and came up with a diagnosis of "copper pipe fix." Once he started, the ****** came out easily, so he went to get a flexible pipe and a replacement ******, and was done in about 20 minutes. It took longer for him to get the parts than it did to replace them. The only copper pipe he touched was mine when he attached the flexible pipe. The charge was $583, no warranty on the work. If I wanted a one year warranty, it would have cost $129. I paid my bill, but will never call Smith plumbing again. My wallet didn't thank me. The work done (including parts) was worth the cost of the warranty, maybe a little more, but certainly not almost $600.Smith Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical

So, *****, this is a review from a call we did on December 23rd, 2023?! Really? And I'm looking in our records for a call from you to me or my General Manager husband **** at any time over the past 6 months, with your concern so we could immediately address it with a price more in line with the work completed. But of course, there is no call. Is it really necessary for you to post a negative review instead of just calling me so we could make the adjustment? The plumber in the field tries his best to get pricing right, but sometimes we run into jobs that are easier to do that originally quoted/anticipated, and of course, the price should be adjusted when this happens. Call the office and ask for my husband ****, remove this review and your charge will be $243 for the service call, diagnosis and repair, meaning we'll refund you $339.53.
