    Overall, their agents dont know what theyre doing. I had to submit my Hep B titer multiple times due to their negligence in interpreting their OWN rules. I submitted a titer that showed the numerical Normal Range & then showed MY numerical value for comparison, which was low (it even stated the word LOW.They kept sending it back with the following statement: The provided document only shows the numeric (quantitative) interpretation of the test. -Please provide a document that has an interpretation such as negative, equivocal, or positive (qualitative interpretation for the quantitative results). Alternatively, the titer can have the reference range as part of the titer record to interpret the numeric result. -In most cases your healthcare provider should be able to provide an interpretation key upon request^^ read that VERY carefully. Specifically this part: ALTERNATIVELY, the titer can have the reference range as part of the titer record to interpret the numeric result. My document literally showed the reference range so that they can intercept the numerical result.duh? FIX YOUR WORDING.I called an agent with this complaint and he had the audacity to say they know exactly what theyre looking at. That was my last straw.In the end, I had to bother my doctor with screenshots of the situation who agreed that they made no ************ made us waste our time.

    The documentation for the Hepatitis B titer was rejected this month asking for a quantitative reference range or qualitative result. While the documentation you provided was very close to the requirements of the school it was not quite what the school requires. We understand that can be frustrating but unfortunately the school and/or their clinical partners frequently do have very specific standards they have to meet and we do not have discretion to override their standards. I do see that the most recent document you provided has been approved.


    In regards to the phone call you reference concern to the staff member does respond to a query to if our review staff understands the documentation they are reviewing by stating, "Yes ma'am, they do understand what they are looking at. The manager reviewing the call did not find that the handling of the call was outside of normal procedures.

    I would give them either zero or negative stars if it was possible, their experts most probably have basic computer knowledge and English and might be in *****, ********, or anywhere else, but they don't have any medical knowledge for sure! their lack of knowledge and fear of losing the job causes them to either reject whatever is beyond their understanding or keep it as PENDING forever! or reject after weeks of Pending status! If anybody referred you to this company then honestly you are DOOMED !!!! waste of money is the Best part, you will lose weeks or months of your life and in the end, your plans will be ruined ! The Chat is a Robot! all experts are busy, totally useless, phone number is also always busy !!!! there is no HUMAN on the other side of the line, emails will be responded to with some general and irrelevant texts from robots or 3rd world country customer service! Welcome to America !!!!!

    If you could clarify what school you are with, wed be happy to look into this matter further you. There should not be any items that pend review for more than 3 business days and generally items are reviewed in less time than that.

    Honestly a terrible service. The website looks like it was designed in **** and has not been updated since. It is difficult to use and jumps around when you try to upload documents making errors much more likely. Their processes are also antiquated. To preface, I have worked in healthcare for 5+ years for various organizations and I am familiar with the required background check/onboarding processes. I understand that they need this information; my issues are how difficult American Databank is to work with. 1. They do not allow you to submit electronic fingerprints for the *** background check. The 5 other times I've done this it has been a 1 step process where I get my prints electronically scanned and submitted to the ***. For American Databank I had to find a service that still does ink prints (not easy) because they require that I MAIL them fingerprint cards so that they can forward them to the ***. Then the *** will send me an email with the results and I have to upload them back to databank. This is far too many steps. More importantly, I could have submitted LITERALLY ANYONES fingerprints with my handwritten name on the top of the card. Talk about security, ridiculous. 2. My vaccine history was a single page PDF. I was required to upload it and attached it to each vaccination separately. Then many of my vaccines were "rejected" because I didn't fill in the dose dates in chronological order. All of the info they needed was on a single page. But rather than look at it update the dates to be in to the order they needed they kept rejecting them.3. They make you choose a single drug testing location and do not let you change it. The Quest I initially selected had no appointments for 2+ weeks. I called to try and switch to a different Quest with better availability and they said it was impossible. If you are looking for a background check vendor please use a better company! I'm so glad that I paid $175 for this experience

    Regarding the fingerprints, we do prefer to use electronic transmission. That said electronic transmission is not always a viable option depending on the type of service being requested. That said even if electronic submission of the requested type of fingerprints is not available we are always able to accept printed copies of electronic prints. To the note regarding security, you're required to sign your information in ink by the fingerprinting technician and they are to cross reference it against your photographic ID. This is standard policy across the ** and accepted by the FBI.

    In regards to the review of your immunizations and other compliance documents I do see American DataBank did set some items to does not meet requirements (asking for the school required labwork, school approved CPR provider, etc..). That said, the only time I see reference to concerns about shot order on your record the notices are from the school regarding specific policies they have to abide by.

    I would also like to address the statement that "They make you choose a single drug testing location and do not let you change it." That is not accurate. You can take the Quest authorization to any Quest location in the country and they will happily accept it if they can perform the type of drug screening your school requests. We did review a call dated 05/12/2023 where you were advised on options for other locations. If the conversation left you feeling like you could not change locations we would be happy to provide uptraining to the team member you spoke with if you can clarify what in the conversation confused you.

    I will share your concerns that you felt the website was antiquated with the team.

    Absolutely horrible experience. They charged me $160 for compliance and listed all my items on one page with an expiration of 365 days, but expired my drug screening after 30 days. My school gave me 3-6 months to complete my compliance, so I thought I would be fine to take the drug screening closer to my start date after I found out if I needed to do other tests at the same time in order to limit my time away from work. When I called to ask about this, I was told, "it's on the printed drug order," which is misleading because the main page still shows nearly a year remaining to complete my compliance items. Now, to get the drug screening, I have to pay them an additional $50. I'm a single parent. I work full time and go to school full time. This is a ridiculous policy, and when I asked to understand why this expired yesterday and I could not go today, the man spoke over me and did not seem to care. Further, when I asked about an order for my TB, he told me I would need to go to the Dr. to get it because they don't provide this; they just require it. That is an out-of-pocket expense. My insurance won't pay for a Dr. *********** to request an order form for school. Plus, it will take me nearly 3 months to get an ***********. So now, I must pay an additional $50 plus the Dr. and TB ***********s ($100-$200) and WAIT upwards of 3 months. What did I pay for with this compliance package that cost me $160? Just the background screening and a misleading service? Please, if you are a school or employer reading this review, DO NOT use this company. Their process is cumbersome and inconsistent in providing information to the person required to go through them for compliance.

I am sorry to hear you have been frustrated with your experience, but several of the statements you have made do not seem to be related to American DataBank. The cost of any services you're ordering through your doctor and the length of time that they may take to schedule you for an appointment are completely outside of American DataBank's control. Additionally, please be aware it is your school that sets these requirements, the school does use our system to track the immunizations and do the drug screening, background check etc... but they set the expiration policies, what immunizations need to be tracked, and what kind of a background check is required. Additionally, many of the requirements are actually policy of the school's clinical partners, the clinical site, dictating to the school what immunizations must be verified to attend for students to have practical experiences. To the point of the costs incurred through American DataBank, we do not see you paid $160.00. If you see that amount through your financial institution you will probably want to speak with them about that as we charged you $102.00. The costs are as follows: 1. Compliance tracking package $20.00 2. Drug screening $40.00 3. Background screening $42.00 The packages you purchased entitled you to a year subscription for the verification of your immunizations, and other compliance items such as health insurance. We review the information provided and verify it meets the standards of the school and make that information available to the school so they can check the status at any time. It also provided for a background screening, which we did complete. Finally there was a registration for a drug screening, which unfortunately did expire after period of one month which the school allotted for it. We do take feedback seriously and if you can help us understand what you feel is cumbersome about the process or where you're seeing inconsistencies in service or instructions we would appreciate the information.     They are the epitome of red tape. They also dont function properly. They are legitimately a detriment to my life at this point because of how much they deny your documents, and even switch up your documents. They made me go get multiple needle jabs for titers because they don't accept handwritten vaccine records from the 90's.

We do try to make the interactions with our system as good as possible and take feed back very seriously.I have reviewed the two rejections on your account, due to the concerns you have expressed and found the following.The document for the *** was rejected because it did not have your name on it. Itwould have been accepted if you had added a file showing the other side of the document with your name on it or transcribed your name on the side you did show us. When we spoke with you on the phone we did also advise on the option for potentially getting an exemption with the school. We did not require you get a titer.The initial document for the Varicella titer was rejected as the document did not contain a Varicella titer. When the titer was submitted, it was accepted.We do have to reject the premisethat we move documents, that does not occur. If there is a specific item you have concerns about please let me know what it is and I'll look at it specifically though.Finally, please note that we do not set the policies of what documents can be approved and what are not approved.     The company does not answer calls or emails. I tried to do the chat bot. No luck with any real answers. You might as well be looking at a FAQ page that doesn't really help. Poor customer service. I did get a girl on the phone when I tried the school option only to be transferred to a voice message. She lied and said supervisor told her someone was available to take call.

It also does appear that you spoke with a representative whos training was geared towards support for school staff and did transfer you back to the student support department after attempting to confirm that a representative was available but you then reached voicemail. I will ask that be looked into.We do however see that the phone call was returned within two hours of when you left us a voice message. Additionally, the email you sent to us was promptly answered as well.     They rejected the health form that Kaiser completed, which was similar to the form they have. All requested information was in the Kaiser health form. I called Kaiser and said that they won’t complete another form. So now, my education is in jeopardy because of how unreasonable Complio is. I don’t understand why Complio makes it so difficult for a paper to be approved if it is similar. In addition, DL was initially rejected because of a barely background seen in the corner of my license. They should focus on more important matter than a minute background.

    From the education facility side, the interface is horrible. Not intuitive. You have to go back and forth to get stuff approved. Things show compliant on the student side but not on the administrator's side. For example, students cannot enter dates for MMRs and other tests, forcing the administrator to look through a lot of paper. The receiving facility looks at things I cannot see on my side and keeps rejecting the student. So far, customer service has been responsive to issues. I work with other systems that are much more user-friendly. They allow the student to upload documents directly to the site to be checked for accuracy and allow school administrators to follow progress, letting you correct issues before final submission. In Complio, you have to wait to submit and then go back and try to figure out where the error occurred.

Neither side can see anything the other cannot.All items that are not yet compliant can have data submitted to them any time, day or night. There is no wait time to submit data.
