      A nightmare that everybody should run away from as fast as possible. They would not cancel their policy even though I called repeatedly to tell them I was not eligible because I turned 65 and went on ********. Apparently, they have no problem keeping the $1,100 a month subsidy and letting the *** come after me for a policy that was never used and I should not have had. The Marketplace is complicit in the fraud, justified by a thinly veiled mandate in the policy that is easily overlooked. A billion-dollar company has no problem scamming the system and letting an elderly person pay thousands for something they should not have accepted, or at the very least, refunded. The Marketplace, the one set up to help lower-income people, won't do a thing because goodbye to their kickbacks... And we pay their salaries. Go figure that.

      Denied a blood transfusion until my iron level drops 2 more points and it's becomes a more threatening & urgent need. Then being denied payment for the iron transfusion. Was the desired outcome death? *** A. ****, CEO, is the ***********.

      I had/have to make several phone calls because of their coding errors. Happening many times. This gives me stress, headaches on top of my own problems. Most of their customer supports has no knowledge at all. They made up non sense answers. So I kept calling until I found the smart and knowledgeable agents to help me. This could be avoidable if they trained them good.

      Awful customer **********************. I cancelled my plan in November, I received a bill in the mail for December 1st, I have been on the phone for an hour now trying to contact someone to ask if I owe anything. The offshore team does not understand me, I ask to get redirected to on shore, it immediately hangs up. I ask the lady who redirects calls to put me through to somebody onshore, she says "okay this one is onshore." I connect, and after 5 minutes of talking to the person, they are not understanding me and I end up asking if they are on shore or off shore. They were offshore. This company lies to you and can not help you with your issues and questions. This is ridiculous of a customer ********************** department to do to people.

      Anthem engages in deceptive buisness practices. When you use their web site, chat, or call in Anthem will direct you to medical providers and medical facilities that are not part of your plan. Once engaged with those providers further navigation of Anthem's process only results in medical care being delayed at best or even denied. I am still trying to navigate Anthem to get medical care, so I do not know how it will end. In my opinion Anthem should be denied any future business and have to compensate all Anthem customers that have sufferred due to *********************** wilful deceptive buisness practices. This level of incompetence by a $172B company must be crafted.

      Confirmed provider was in network in writing, and now they are saying that they are not. Only covered partial of a planned, medically necessary procedure leaving me with thousands of dollars still due, above my ******. Customer ********************** is a nightmare and unhelpful. This insurance company is prime example of profits over people. Providers can be in network one day and not the next without any indication, leaving you thinking that you have health insurance, when you dont. They just want the monthly premiums and dont want to cover you in any way. Please stay away.

      I have paid insurance for two pay periods but have not been able to even get a doctor appt bc I was assigned a PCP who is not in network and I was not allowed to change it myself so had to call yesterday. I had to go to work, but she changed my PCP or so she said she did. So today after my 12 hour shift at work, I go to log into my account and can't this morning! I could log in before but now it says check your firewall, etc...I HAVE LOGGED IN BEFORE, but now can't. So now I am on the phone again and the representative is saying NO ONE was assigned as my *** like I was told by the representative yesterday. I am an RN. I work 12 hour shifts. I have paid this company 2x already in my last two paychecks and still can't get care/am having to make multiple phone calls. ****************** is a total scam. They make is so hard to even get an appointment for a check up. Now the person on the phone doesn't know what's going on so my call yesterday was a total waste and at this point after 12 hours caring for patients I am on the phone again and the person doesn't even know what is going on...they are trying to help but can't even understand the company, website and policy I have. I don't blame it on the customer ********************** representatives, I blame it on Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Now the person says I do have someone assigned...she is going to try to make an appointment for me since my account access has been taken away when I had accessed it many times. People are so afraid for ******** for ************************* but no one complains about ******** or ******** and people with those plans get better care than I have ever gotten with all the crappy money hungry insurance companies I've been forced to deal with as an RN over the years. This is worse than any public healthcare could be or is. I will never do business with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and can't wait for 7 1/2 years to have ******** so I don't have to deal with these companies.

      As a 61 year old disabled man this is the worst insurance that I have ever had. I had to give up my subpar ****************** that was only slightly better because they couldn't work out a contract agreement with my local Baptist/Deaconess hospital and I had no choice other than changing insurance companies. I live in a small town with no transportation other than a so called private taxi service that charges at least $24.00 to go pick up groceries round trip when my grocery store is less than 2 miles away. This is a total ripoff and I see a class action lawsuit in their future from me. They give you very few options and I do own a car but can't have it repaired due to having to pay an outrageous price for a ride anywhere. I need my teeth cleaned plus new glasses but best of luck with Anthem. All of their so called customer ********************** is a total lie. I will be dropping them by January 2025 because they are the worst that I have ever had. They don't care about your health or circumstances but have no problem lying to you....

      Worst health care I have ever had. If I could give them zero stars I would. My health insurance switched to them (and I am a teacher) and since the switch everything is denied. Acupuncturists have all left their plans because they are sketchy to do business with (this is coming from my acupuncturist).I had an eye cream denied after months of itching and flaking on my eye no reason for the denial.Lastly I had an ovarian vein embulization denied that I need. I have years of pelvic pain and every type of test done, all showing that I have pelvic vericose veins. I wrote a 5 page letter detailing my pain and my appeal was still denied. The fact that these so called people are allowed to PROFIT off of sick individuals is truly disgusting. I have no idea what my 475 dollars a pay check is covering, but I am about to switch to anything else I can find.
