      Hurricane ****** destroyed farm in the mountains of *******. I have relocated and founded a new business with a different name in ******. ******* has pulled my information from lenoir, and placed it with the old business that no longer exists. This is losing me lots of business and causing me alot of heartache after my farm was destroyed in the floods. I do not want my new business on mapquest, and I want my old business with the false information to be deleted. I never consented to have my business listed on the mapquest platform and want all information associated with my business to be deleted, to further mitigate the great harm these listings have caused me. My customers are confused, see the new business information listed, along with the old business that is destroyed and permanently closed.

      From Jan 27, 2025 to Jun 20, 2025, I submitted 2 separate requests asking mapquest to remove a business name from a property that my family own. The business has never been located there, and I even provided the actual business address for the company, their website, and a ****** maps listing with all this data and more as supporting information. Every time I submit a request I get an automatic reply with a ticket number but I never hear anything else. I have replied to those emails asking for help and still no answers. I have called the toll free number, **********, and there is a busy signal. I have contacted the local number, **********, and followed the prompts, both relevant and not, in an attempt to speak with someone. There is no way to speak with someone in these prompts, some of which just time out and do nothing. If they are not monitoring these address change requests then whats the point of even having this site as active. This property has always been residential and has no commercial space. But whenever someone looks up the address or this business in the area, one of the first things that comes up is this incorrect map quest listing and it's to my family's home. Potential customers are confused and it is affecting the business' appeal. The ticket numbers I have received for each of my change requests are: #******* and #*******

      This company has no way to delete wrong and malicious information. I have sent them 20 different submission about a person that is spoofing my business. their service allows someone to post a business name and website and phone number and have it listed my company is ********************* in ******** a person named ***** ****** is using my business name and my webisite, with his personal phone number listed and has stolen $30,000 in business from my company. We are have tried over and over again to remove this and the only thing we get is to pay $200 to try to have a company called **** do it, we paid the money, and it was still never removed. ****************************************************************************** this site has my business name listed, my website with an old address and a personal cell phone - this person is telling customers they are reaching Maritime Plastics. THEY ARE NOT - you are causing major damage to my company and my family. this person has committed tax fraud, covid fraud, insurance fraud he is absolutely crazy, he has no insurance in ******** to do work and is not registered with the state - ********** is in good standing - Even his LLC *************************** is not in good standing as he is still stealing from the state government.

      we want our personal residence at ***************************** removed from mapquest. They have two different listings for the business I have, each sending customers to my home on ****************. The names of both business listings are wrong. One is listed as *********************. We haven't been ********************* since 2017 and we never had an office at our personal residence on ****************. The other listing is for **********, and although we are a Townecraft dealer, we have never had a storefront at our home. Two customers came to our residence today. We changed our name from ********************* to ******************* in 2017 and we have always had our office at ******************************************, since 1974. Huge privacy issue and safety issue, and of course you can't reach anyone at their phone number.

      Mapquest is displaying my personal cell phone number on my business listing and will not remove or correct it. Additionally it is displaying the wrong business name. There is no way to correct the information. My cell phone now is a target of spamming and harassing phone calls.       I reached out to MapQuest via their online contact form to request that they remove my personal address from my business listing that is publicly available on their site. I work from a home office so my business address is also my personal address. I have privacy and safety concerns and do not want my name, phone number, email address, or home / business addresses listed or shown on any publicly available site. The date of my request was March 3, 2025. I followed up on April 8, 2025, and again on April 28, 2025. It has been over two months now and I have heard nothing back from MapQuest. This is unacceptable and reprehensible for a business to be so completely unavailable to address privacy and safety concerns for individuals and entities that are publicly available on their site. The summary of my request number is: *******. The name of my business is *************************** PC.

      I have sent multiple messages to MapQuest - per their instructions - on their website to request their removal of my photo and former-business information from their website. However, they have not responded to or granted my requests. My business is permanently closed and I informed MapQuest about such. I do not feel comfortable with MapQuest continuing to display my photo and former-business information on their website, as they also display my name with their false-marketing of my former-business and photo. Please can you assist with promptly removing my information and photo from the MapQuest website?

      I have tried multiple times to get mapquest to fix my business listing with them. They keep getting my business address wrong. The current address they have posted to the public for my business has never been a valid address for my business. I don't know where they came up with it, but it is wrong. I would rather not have a listing with them at all, since they won't correct my business address.

      *************************** is open for business as displayed on various sites such as ********, ****** and yelp. However, Mapquest displaying my business *********************** as PERMANENTLY CLOSED. I have sent several request via their website asking them to correct the information ,however my efforts proved futile. Based on the competitive industry that my company is apart of, I believe the incorrect information presently being advertised on Mapquest site is negatively impacting *********************** Trustworthiness and our ability to obtain more customers.Thanks for any assistance that will help to have this issue fixed by Mapquest.

      Hi there,

      As mentioned on 5/18/2025 by our MapQuest support agent, the ****** search result text is from "****** and they will need to crawl their search index and then it will be gone. It can take them 2-4 weeks after a link has been updated on a site". The agent provided the ****** link where the result can be updated and said, "I did put it thru their link so hopefully it will help to speed that process up, but it's up to them now."
