Absolutely no flexibility or humanity. After my daughter was diagnosed with cancer early in the season (after 1 ski day) they would only quote me their rules about deferrals, etc. How about you just be decent humans and realize that there are times when you should make exceptions?

My CC was fraudulently charged in April. They must not check identification.

Ikon pass is only for you if nothing in your life ever changes... I got the Ikon pass and was extremely excited to use for the season as I moved to a new state as a student and was hoping to make friends. The first day, second run of the season I hit ice (on a green - not doing anything stupid) in what ended up being a torn ACL, LCL, meniscus and shin fracture. Basically my knee was a goner. I had to pay thousands in medical bills and am still ongoing physical therapy. When I reached out to Ikon in hopes of a partial refund, understanding I used the equivalent of a one day pass they told me there was "nothing they could do" even with documentation of the entire event with **** ****** and medical staff following. They use technicalities and fine print to hold on to money that could have helped keep me out of student and medical debt. What I was hoping to be a fun season, turned into a nightmare and Ikon only exacerbated it. I've heard Epic is better at dealing with this stuff so will be switching over and recommending all my friends do the same.

IKON pass deferral program steals your money. It is actually a credit that cannot be used any time during the following season. This company is crooked

Ikon used a technicality to not honor my COVID-19 class action settlement credit. **************** is EXTREMELY difficult to get on the phone. After a week of trying, I did get an agent on the phone who did nothing for me.

**** has no respect for their customers & are essentially rude & unhelpful when you reach out to them. For the last 2 seasons I have not been able to claim my paramount plus perks. I have reached out to Ikon both ************** has informed me that they cannot help me & that I need to work with paramount plus. I have followed Ikon's advice bothers. Last year I spent about 20 hours dealing with paramount plus before they finally found a supervisor who resolved the problem so I could receive my benefit. This yr I have spent at least 10 hours & have spoken to several supervisors at ****************** still cannot redeem my benefit. At this point, ************** has stopped assistig me.From what I understand I am not the only one having this issue. However, I now know better & will not be wasting my time next ******* extremely disappointed with Ikons indifference and failure to correct this problem. I feel strongly that **** has not complied with their end of the contract even though I paid in good faith for my seasons pass which includes benefits. Since I'm not receiving my benefit despite my efforts & following Ikon's directions, I feel strongly that Ikon should reimbursed me a part of my season pass' cost.

My story is almost unbelievable. I was casually coming down the mountain by myself and a ski patroller motioned me over. He insisted I cut a rope but I did not. On trying to exit the interaction one of the patrollers grabbed and bear-hugged me. I was not physically released until I agreed to surrender my $1300 pass. Ten days later I was finally allowed to meet with mountain management. At said meeting and because there are ample cameras on the mountain, they acknowledged I was in the right and did not cross a ropeski patrol had dropped it. That said, for another 10 days every time I tried to ski, the security office had to be called as they still had me HARD REDLINED and I couldnt ski!! Who does that???What Steamboat and Alterra dont understand is that the ski patroller who assaulted me committed a federal crime on federal land; its not okay and is not just going to just go away!Steamboat agreed (at a 2nd meeting) to a comp pass for the season, etcapparently it was nothing more than a bait and switch in the most classic way. Steamboat only cares about their bottom dollar; theyre *****, unprofessional and mean spirited.Similarly, and much much worse my friend was bushwhacked by some renegade snowboarders. She had a terrible tibial plateau fracture; extremely painful. Ski patrol flipped her over on the way down the *********** filing a complaint with the ***. Im seriously considering filing a lawsuit, both in the state of ******** and a federal lawsuit because it happened on federal land. Steamboat thinks theyre above normal, civil decency!! This is a big corporation trying to exert and exploit their power and position!!The next step is to expose them via social media for who they are!! Steamboat is nothing and backwoods compared to Vail in many peoples opinion. My ***** is a CPA Steamboat treated him like dog doo. He went down to **** because he lives south of town and he said it was night and day the level of professionalism and appreciation.

I have been buying Passes at ***************************** since 1977, even worked there for 13 years, my wife worked there 8. My knees have been developing problems for awhile now but I've been able to manage the pain and still enjoy careful skiing but this Summer while hiking the pain increased and my doctor and surgeon said I was now bone on bone so we are scheduling surgery for the Spring. They recommended not skiing this Winter. I had taken out the injury insurance on my pass to cover myself in case things developed beyond my control. I submitted ALL and MORE paperwork that Spot and *** required to refund my 24/25 Season Pass. *** wrote back and needed more info. from my doctors. We submitted everything they asked for then they asked for more. It's a "rabbit hole" that we feel they are taking us down so I'm calling **********. They were just bought by a Corporation last year and they need to know how we as their skiers, their customers are being treated. I agree with much of the reviews I'm seeing on this and other sites. Corporate Greed is alive and well in the ski industry.
