Family members have been IKON pass members for years Two days before my husbands trip he ended up in hospital needing emergency surgery I called IKON to request a refund or at least a credit. The representatives i spoke to was rude and seemed to enjoy taking money without providing any service. Rude unprofessional and definitely in it for the money Another lost customer

Our family of four have been Ikon pass holders since the beginning 2018. We bought our college student an Ikon pass this year unaware that she would be going study abroad and miss the entire ski season. We tried to get credit or deferral for next season but customer service refused our request. One would think **** would refund or credit an unused season ski pass *****. NO they are just in it for money. Terrible customer service and no loyalty to past ********************** holders. to Done with IKON.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is a nightmare. I don't even know where to begin. My pass was paid for back on the summer. I have not been able to activate it and have called and emailed more times than I know. Do I need to get a lawyer? I can't use my pass and IKON just won't respond. Next call is to my credit card to see what they will do. I am just so sick and frustrated over this.

My wife and I bought an EpicPass to our local mountain in ** and we also bought an IKON Pass for a month long ski trip to ****. She injured her knee on her first day skiing and Epic gave us a refund. She is scheduled for ACL surgery and is unable to ski this season so we had to cancel our trip to ****. **** said sorry, but there is nothing they can do. I asked if they could defer our passes to next year since we had not used them and will not use them this season.... they said no. Amazing how two huge ski conglomorates differ so greatly. I am so disappointed in their company. ************

A week after the date to defer your pass to next year I found out I needed shoulder surgery. Called customer service and they told me it was not possible to defer the pass to the ***** season. To some degree they tried to blame it on the computer systems -- what a crock! Great example of a company without a conscience. I'll never buy another Ikon Pass!

I also deferred my pass from the Covid season and called in several times to renew my passes now I am going to use the pass and the mountains I want to go to are no longer on the pass they removed 6 mountains on the pass and claim I signed something agreeing to this so i asked for a copy of this and they sent me a blank page no signatures no check **** that I agreed to this I had renewed over the phone and the agent confirmed she listened to my conversation and nothing about the mountains being removed were discussed they refused to do anything about it!!!!

Like many others, I deferred my 21/22 pass for the 22/23 season as this was offered VOLUNTARILY by Ikon. I talked to an agent about the deferral and thought everything was set for the 22/23 season. Recently I checked the Ikon app and didn't see anything about the 21/22 pass deferral so I called customer support who said they had no record of it and my previous pass was essentially forfeited even though it had never been used. The best part was their version of customer service is offering $50 off a new pass (but only if I purchased within 7 days)....Yes you read that right, less than a 5% discount after their agent didn't defer the pass on a program they voluntarily setup. Guess I'll just buy Epic.

The IKON Pass/Affirm purchase option is unreliable, untrustworthy and possibly exposes user data on the internet. I lost $250 because of their software failure and wrote to both Alterra (IKON's parent company) and to Affirm. The customer service team at IKON just blew me off and acted like I was lying. I wrote the the Alterra VP for operations and never received a reply. I wrote to Affirm and the first reply indicated that they didn't even read my letter. The reply to my second letter was equally non-responsive.It seems that neither IKON/Alterra nor Affirm are interested in the reliability of their software. I warn everyone to stay away from this purchase option unless you are willing to be unknowingly screwed by them. Purchase with a credit card and at least you have both a record of the transaction and recourse if you get screwed by these apparently unethical actors.
