Bought a 2 day pass for $279 thinking it was like the Indy pass. 2 days at each resort, similarly priced. Nope, 2 days total! Thats $135/day. The majority of resorts on Ikon have day passes that are less that $135. This is a scam! Horrible misleading marketing. It's a better deal to buy day passes at individual resorts. Pass does nothing but cost more for zero reason.

What a joke. I am a covid ********************* worker. I blew out my knee and they wont do anything since I didnt check pass protection. What a racket. They have my money and Im not spending any time on the mountain. They have ruined skiing. I have used 2 days of skiing in the past 2 years. Enjoy that 2000$ as my gift to you. If I had a lawyer Id put together a class action lawsuit over overselling passes and not being able to ski anyway

HORRIFYING COMPANY. I am in absolute shock on their business practices for such a huge conglomerate. I purchased a pass with insurance and had to defer it due to health reasons I decided to take the year off. I went into this season with the same issue and was clinically diagnosed with a doctors note to not ski this season. When I called in I spent over an hour on hold and talked to three people. They will not give me a refund of $711 even though I had originally bought insurance. The manager I spoke to was one of the rudest people i've come across. She actually hung up on me after telling me she would email a contact at Alterra mountain to discuss this. She never did. Now reaching out to dirty Alterra - these people are rich corporate crooks. DO NOT SUPPORT THEM!

Discriminatory business. How can you offer military discounts to veterans one year then change it to only retirees DEPENDENTS active and disabled at a certain percent but leave out veterans in general. You know a lot of us served and are screwed over by the VA Disability system, now by you guys too apparently. Guess my service doesn't count, you're welcome.

Horrible customer service. Tried applying a military discount and they only offer it for 20 year retirees, active duty, or dependents of either. They do not care if you spent anywhere between **** years in the service, they will not apply a military discount. But thank god you can get a student discount... Ive never seen a company exclude military service from a military discount outside of a dishonorable discharge, its the most absurd thing Ive seen.

Same experience with 22/23 Ikon pass, forfeit unused passes. For 21/22 they automatically credited unused Ikon passes for future purchases but 22/23 Ikon, they changed the rules and you needed to activate deferral by Dec. 8th to get credit for unused ikon passes. I was recovering from open heart surgery but I was still monitoring my emails in my long recovery and **** never sent any email about Dec. 8th deadline to activate deferrals. The emails sent and received were about Oct 4, 2022, about COVID class action, Oct 7, 2022 reminder email about no action for adventure assurance if you opted for all destinations versus single destination, and Nov. 3, Ikon Pass Settlement but no email about Dec 8th deadline to take action to get credit for unused Ikon passes. I purchased for many years but now my extended family and I have decided to boycott Ikon that is a loss of over 12 Ikon passes they woudl have sold each year.. It is not insignificant amount of money, $900-1200 for each Ikon pass that you buy in June, but passes are not even mailed *********** late Oct/Nov for the Dec ski season. I hope those lawyers start another class action against **** for this scam that **** and ******************** has perpetrated on many consumers.

I spoke to ***** at IKON. Not very sympathetic in any way!! My husband bought our passes for the 22/23 season. He used his pass 1 time and I never used mine. My husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness in December and we never made it back to ******** for the season. I was told that the deferred time passed on December 8, but my husband was not diagnosed until late December. Be ware of their policy and make sure that you buy insurance if god forbid something unexpected should happen!!!!

Just as everyone has said, they have zero customer service nor do they care if you have issues. Bought a pass in. 22/23 and deferred it, took my money no problem. Gave my husband and I credits for this year (have to pay even more) and we are unable to go away again in 23/24. Wanted to use our credits to buy an ikon pass for our daughter who will be in **** but they will not allow ** to use the credits, only in our names as we originally bought the passes. Wasnt asking for a refund, only wanted to use the credit for another family member!!! I would give them a zero if I could as well! Now we had to add more money so we could buy a new set of passes then we can keep doing that until we are able to use them one year!!!!!!! Most ski areas give you a credit but allow you to use it however you want! Absolutely furious over this ridiculous policy

Company and customer service has no compassion or empathy. I hurt myself prior to Dec 13th, 5 days after you could defer the pass to the following year. Never used the pass once and they wouldn't give me a partial refund or let me defer it to the following year.
