      I ended my account with Century Link in 2021 and went to ******** because I needed stable internet for work. I returned the modem/router within 30 days. I did keep the receipt, but now unable to find it (4 years later). Now my phone, text and email is blowing up with collection agency for $350+ I am reporting them to the Arizona Attorney General.

      I switched from ******* to Quantum Fiber expecting reliable internet service. From day one, its been unstable with constant outages, weak signal, and no resolution despite a technician visit. Ive had to reconnect every smart device multiple times, and their support refuses to issue a refund because the service is prepaid, even though I never received the level of service promised. This is deceptive and a clear failure to deliver what was advertised.

      If I could leave 0 stars I could. I was trying to save money on internet and still have speeds sufficient to work from home. I was assured I would get 100mbps download and 10mbps upload. When the tech arrived not only were we unable to get that speed, it was not upgradeable to that speed. They assured me 60mbps download and 5mbps upload was sufficient for work from home but when I actually started using the service I was getting 2 maybe 3mbps. The latency was too high for me to take calls. And to make matters worse Centurylink thought that I wasn't working from home. It thought I was downloading illegal content and throttled my speed. The service would come in and out and would keep dropping. I got in trouble for lag and delays at work due to over 10s delays in calls. I had to immediately move to xfinity. The customer service is abysmal and I feel bad for everyone who works for this company because I am sure most of the calls they get are complaints. I would not wish this dishonest company on my worst enemy. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

      Horrible internet service. Have had an outage for 2 days and nothing is being done. Why do they charge for a service that you don't get. Horrendous customer service and lazy staff!

      Well ladies and gentlemen I'm sorry to say this but CenturyLink does sell your information out cuz I found out they do and they lie and say they don't I keep on getting scam calls from the same company over and over every 5 minutes and since you links does not care and they're not even using a local number

      I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience with CenturyLink and feel compelled to share my story so others can be aware of what they may face as a customer. I'm only giving them one star because I have ***** internet service has been completely down since May 13, due to a cut line from ********. Despite reporting the issue and having multiple technician appointments scheduled (some of which no one showed up for), my service was never restored. On May 20, a technician did visit, confirmed the damage, and told me a burial company would be needed to fix itbut no further communication or resolution ever ******* make matters worse, on June 5, $101.65 was withdrawn from my account for a tech visit, even though no repair was performed. I reached out through CenturyLinks support chat and was bounced between multiple representatives. I clearly explained that I was not disputing the visit itself, but requesting a refund for services I never received. Every representativeincluding a supervisorrefused to help, citing that simply having a tech show up (even if they do absolutely nothing) justifies the full charge.Let that sink in: CenturyLink believes that sending someone to look at your issueeven if they cant or dont fix itis a billable service.Adding insult to injury, I was told that because my account is now suspended (due to my refusal to continue paying for a service I havent had in over a month), no further repairs can even be scheduled unless I pay more. I was also told no one at CenturyLink has the authority to override the charge, leaving customers like me with no path for resolution.Overall, the customer service was robotic, unhelpful, and frustrating. Despite hours spent in chat, I left with no solution, no service, and no refund.If you value reliability and responsive support, I strongly advise you to think twice before choosing CenturyLink.

      They like their AUTOPAYMENTS a looot! But not as much as they love having OUTAGES WITHOUT ANY HEADS UP! We checked their website, says no outages but hey! I cant seem to connect to my internet! They are so quick to getting money from you but their customer service is ABSOLUTELY TRASH!!! Is it possible to file for a lawsuit against them for poor internet???

      I'd give it a zero if I could. First of all TERRIBLE SERVICE, incredibly slow.Second, **************** was supposed to be discontinued January 2nd. I received an email confirming the termination request. I was told I would receive a final bill. Nothing came for a few months and suddenly there was a bill for $489. I have made multiple calls. It takes forever to be able to figure out what prompts will finally get you to a real person. Finally reached someone and was told I had the wrong department! Eventually reached someone who told me that they could help. They could see that a disconnect order had been placed but there was a problem on their end. I felt relieved that it was finally taken care of.NOT SO! I received another bill for $268. Yes it was lower but all I owed was about $74. I am trying to do the right thing by paying the balance I really owe I'm on the phone again waited 1 hour to reach a live person. They claim all is taken care of. I have little faith. But...here's hoping!

      I paid by check, and because of an error, the check was seen as no good on several occasions. I believe it to be an error on part of Century link. The funds were available. I've had Century link for several years and have paid by the same checking account. I don't know why all of a sudden they are saying the checks are no good. They will no longer take checks. They will only accept debit or credit card which is an additional $3.50. Why should or do I have to pay an additional fee because of an error on their end? They are already have an expensive service.

      I'd rank it lower if ai could. We have been without internet service for almost three weeks. A technician came out and determined the outage was on their end and not in my house. He scheduled a follow up for a week later. They missed that appointment. A week later, it's still out, and after spending two hours dealing with their AI chat, trying to find an actual human to talk to, I finally gave up on their repair/service link and tried a different route. I was eventually able to get a hold of a live person, who wanted to schedule another follow up for two weeks from now. I pointed out that we unacceptable, and that I am paying for a service that they are unwilling out unable to provide and they if I was five weeks late paying them, they world be understandably upset. They are happy to take your money, even if they do not provide the services paid for.
