      Service to my area, is said to be no service in my area, but I'm paying for service!!!! Century link refuses service of internet service to my Rental property, but I'm still paying for service!!! Why can service to this area not be upgraded!!!! Century link tells when call in for new service in area, they say don't have lines or service in this area. They tell you to go to CHAT for assistance, but ************** doesn't connect NO SERVICE. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND SERVICE TO OUR AREA!!!!!!

      Worst f***ing business period. No place for reviews on their ******** page, so much for page transparency. I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company since 2019, everything was fine until this year when I got an email about a free upgrade. Since then I have been over charged twice, had to request A technician the next day after he messed everything up and had to call the worst customer service agents of all time. The most recent issue being I was overcharged by $100 on my **** last month. When I reached out over the phone I asked him to ensure he didn't place a credit towards my next **** as I can't feed my kids internet for dinner. However he said it's now been processed and there is a credit on your account. Since it was processed he can no longer do anything else. Then I reach out to Customer support and they say it's because of how Centurylink does the ****, It will only attempt to charge you once then run it to the next ****. This was never emailed or mailed to me. I routinely go onto my account to check on my balance but over the last month I couldn't due to technical issues on your end. So I am now stuck with no groceries for the 2 weeks for my kids and no one seems to care here. this company clearly only cares about the money it earns and not the individual customers that get them their money. DO NOT use, any other internet provider has to better with way less hassle, period.

      If I could give them a zero, I would. We are a business and our phone has no dial tone, called on Tuesday 7/12/22 and they said the soonest they could come is Friday the 15th, again this is a business, they said we'll be out as soon as we can, so Friday they were a no show, even after I called 3 times that day to get status and they paged the tech and he never called back, Saturday get a phone call that service has been repaired, came to work on Monday the 18th and still does not work, now they put us off till Wednesday the 20th. Not a happy customer at all, but they certainly want paid. I am actively looking for a new phone and internet company ASAP!

      My father is 78 yrs old he has been paying All the bills for Him and his wife since they were married at age ********************************************************************************* 2018 century link will not help my father because the account is in her name he cannot get it fixed or anything although he has always paid the **** for about 20 years he already misses her they are mean when you talk to them he does not want to lose his home phone as he is elderly and not use his cell phones they will not even help him put it in his name they should refund him 20 years of payment since he was not the owner of the account to begin with if he is not the owner of the account now its been a lot of years every time he has to deal with as he cries for his wife these people have no customer service or compassion

      My phone line stopped receiving incoming calls on July 7th. After literally waiting hours to "chat" with someone I was finally able to make an appointment for a repair technician to come out. I waited 8 hours for someone to show up, no one showed. I went thru the process again, another appointment was set up, this time for a Saturday. Once again I stayed home, on a Saturday, and no one showed. It's almost impossible to talk to a real person and if you do they speak in such broken English they are almost impossible to understand. It has been 3 weeks and still no land line service and no one following up on any appointment.

      I'm just at a loss for words on how a telecommunications company like CenturyLink is still in business. Over the last 20 to 30 years, the older copper phone lines and services in this rural area have passed through many hands. CenturyLink being the current provider has by far been the worst phone company to deal with. The overall service is atrocious. Trying to communicate with them regarding any issue without the ****** mins. hold time or having to constantly "navigate" their menu options (which seems like it's on loop after inputting the accont information) often leaves you annoyed, irritated, aggravated or all of the above. In our case, aside from the poor performing phone lines, we have been trying to get a phone line moved for construction purposes. We have gone through all the proper channels (miss utility, line markings, exposing other underground utilities) before one could begin any excavation work. CenturyLink was the first to acknowledge they have received the miss utility ticket but were the last to come **** their lines (about a week after the ticket was issued). We have been patiently waiting to move forward with the construction process but CenturyLink has been rather lackluster. We had a local CenturyLink field technician stop by to measure how much line would be needed to redirect the service away from the construction area. We inquired who to better contact to avoid the run-around because we were dealing with 1). Incompetent people 2). Communication/dialogue issues with representatives overseas. He didn't know and he works with the company. We were informed a contractor would be there in 2 weeks to complete the ticket (7-15-2022) between the hours of 8-5pm. I contacted CenturyLink yesterday and finally got ahold to someone inquiring if they were coming to move the line since it was 4:20 pm. They told me they had to 7pm to finish the work. Well they didn't show up. I feel like I'm living in the movie the Money Pit. How long will it take, 2 weeks.

      CenturyLink is terrible. Why even it allowed to operate? They don't have any physical store anymore. You would think their online only presence will provide better customer support. But, they do not have customer service, It is phony. You cannot reach them easily and if you are lucky it would be waste of the time. My story is I have returned their modem (I purchased my own) and they have received the modem back. But, still charging me for model lease for month now after receiving the modem.And I cannot get this resolved. **************** is useless, their supervisors are the same garbage, no escalation process exists. It is a dead end. We have just two internet providers and both of them are more less the same c***

      I been waiting for over an hour and a half to talk to someone. My phone is dying. If I call as a new customer trying to purchase internet they answer immediately. F*** AMERICA

      Today is the 15th of July, I have been without my land line since the 22nd of June. I have been on the computer via Skype several times, sometimes hours and not resolved the problem. I had 3 appointments for a tec. to come out and check my wiring and no one showed up. I have an appointment on Tuesday the 19th of June.

      Their fast speed internet is NOT fast. They are charging top dollar for service but it is not worth the amount they charge. My fiance and I both are looking for a job and have missed out on a total of 4 jobs this week that require us to work from home but the internet that the advertise as fast speed DSL does not meet the required download speed or even what they say it gives their customers. We have no one else because they are the only company allowed in the territory. Give what your customers need or leave and allow someone else to come into territory that can supply the customers needs.
