      I paid by check, and because of an error, the check was seen as no good on several occasions. I believe it to be an error on part of Century link. The funds were available. I've had Century link for several years and have paid by the same checking account. I don't know why all of a sudden they are saying the checks are no good. They will no longer take checks. They will only accept debit or credit card which is an additional $3.50. Why should or do I have to pay an additional fee because of an error on their end? They are already have an expensive service.

      I'd rank it lower if ai could. We have been without internet service for almost three weeks. A technician came out and determined the outage was on their end and not in my house. He scheduled a follow up for a week later. They missed that appointment. A week later, it's still out, and after spending two hours dealing with their AI chat, trying to find an actual human to talk to, I finally gave up on their repair/service link and tried a different route. I was eventually able to get a hold of a live person, who wanted to schedule another follow up for two weeks from now. I pointed out that we unacceptable, and that I am paying for a service that they are unwilling out unable to provide and they if I was five weeks late paying them, they world be understandably upset. They are happy to take your money, even if they do not provide the services paid for.

      CenturyLink stole over $1000 from an elderly man by telling him they were decommissioning his Internet November 1st, but continued to charge him. When we found out he was still paying for it 8 months later. *** **** said they would not credit him for anything, and when I asked *** if it made him feel good to rip off an elderly person, he said yes. Find anyone else to do business with.

      Going on three days no Internet to be able to do my job keeping me from making money and loosing money no responses from century link just the same reset your router bs paying for a system doesnt isnt providing what Im paying is a scam

      Our internet has been down for well over 24 hours following their major outage. While others had service restored, ours never came back online. Weve done everything on our endrebooted the modem, reset settings, changed DNS, verified line sync, and more. The modem is clearly connected to their network but stuck in authentication limbo.The worst part? Ive spent over 9 hours trying to reach a single human being. Phone support drops you after waiting in the queue. The texting line is useless. The online chat only gives you bots that loop or disconnect. Every time I finally get somewhere, Im asked to repeat our account infoand then the session dies. No resolution. No follow-up. Just silence.We both work remotely and this has had a major impact on our income and ability to do our jobs. The customer service is not just badits nonexistent. And when a company cant provide basic service or support during an outage they caused, the least they can do is offer reimbursementwhich they ********* better. Or lose customers. Because were now looking for other options.

      I wish I could leave a zero star review. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. They will have widespread outages, not report them and if you try to report it to them they tell you they will send a tech out to your house for $99+. I wonder how many people pay this when the company knows there is an area outage.The customer service department is a joke. I run the troubleshooter on the website and it leads to a blank page. I wait on hold with phone or chat for 5-6 hours at a time just to get disconnected. I click on "contact us" for existing customers so I can just send them an email to let them know my service is out and nothing happens. Unfortunately, this company has a monopoly on physical landlines. If you want to keep your landline phone for emergencies, there is no other choice. To top that off, the prices and fees keep going up. It is over $100/month now just to have an emergency phone. This company is despicable!

      If you only have internet service and call. Well congrats, you can chat with a repair representative via you internet connection. O ur app doesn't have service or you poor and don't have a secondary access to the internet get ****** and wait 2hrs. Actually you could walk to your local library to contact us even though we are your Internet provider.

      Worst place to deal with I have had them for 8 months & have had nothing but the same problem I have complained & complained My daughter complained I had paid my bill up until 2 months ago They never fixed my problem they wouldn't give me a discount & now they shut me off Dont ever go through Century Link They are a ************* DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS ONLY THE MONEY FOR ME NOT PAYING MY BILL FOR 2 MONTHS IT LOOKS LIKE I HAVENT PAID FOR 3 MONTHS THEY REALLY CHARGE U FOR WHAT THEY CHARGE IT ISN'T WORTH IT I HAVE FOUND A BETTER PLACE TO GO THROUGH & CHEAPER I'M 61 YRS OLD CENTURY LINK TOOK BIG TIME ADVANTANGE OF ME STAY AWAY FROM THEM THEY ARE A BAD BAD PLACE TO DEAL WITH WHO LETS SOMEONE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM FOR 8 MONTHS & DOES NOTHING BUT COMES UP WITH EXCUSES

      They are the worst company for internet out there, their service is terrible their customer service is horrible. I have had their service for 5 years and have had several complaints of the internet not working Im sure I called them 30 times. Service technician have come out at least 4 times they say its fixed and has never been fixed drop 1 out of 3 call have to reconnect to the internet on my computer several times other devices like TV, cell phone, tablets, dont work. Terrible company beware of them.

      CENTURY LINK I ordered an upgrade to my internet service from Century link who I have been a customer for about ten years. I have been experiencing internet problems so I decided to upgrade. I ordered the upgrade on June 5. 2025 and was given an install date of June 16. 2025. They never showed up and rescheduled for June 17, 2025 and now that has been cancelled. I called customer service and was told the needed a part after 2+ weeks of waiting. Now they are telling me June 19, 2025 which I have a doctors appointment which I mentioned and was told if I didn't want that date the next available date would be in July. In the meantime I have to reboot my modem anywhere from 1 to2 times daily.
