      I called to cancel my CenturyLink service (10 days into my new billing cycle). I was informed that CenturyLink doesn't prorate services and I am expected to pay the full month of services despite wanting services immediately discontinued. CenturyLink has terrible fiber service, raised prices over $20 per month when I was promised a "lifetime price" when I had fiber installed, and poor customer service. It doesn't allow me to rate CenturyLink 0 stars.

      If I could leave zero start I would. My service has been off for almost two weeks because thats the quickest they could come. After a surprise tech showed up a day before the appt I left work only for them to tell me they couldnt get my service back on and dont know the problem. They returned THREE days later and after coming four hours earlier than anticipated I left work again for them to then sit in my parking lot for an hour before beginning the service. After over two hours of being there I got a text saying my service was unable to be completed and they would come back the next day no further explanation. I ran up the hill before the truck could leave and he let me know the construction workers had cut the line and they should be back in a couple days hopefully to dig it out and get me reconnected. I called customer service and they would not take any amount off of my bill except the days I was off up tot today so I will have to call back through their HORRIBLE automated system to attempt to get more money I am owed refunded back to me. My area only offers this service or I would leave in a heartbeat. I have never had a single good interaction with their company except a few of the repairmen in person. The ones that bother to talk to me that is. I have probably met ten of them now due to their awful service and every single time I have to take off work and they dont care at all about convenience.

      Worst internet I have ever had. Everytime I try to call and cancel I get hung up on and when I try to use ai chat it says it has errors and I am receiving bills adding up even though my modem hast been plugged in for 2 months

      They didn't show up for the installation appointment. Then they lied to my face saying that they came but we weren't at home which was not true. Then they changed their statement saying that technicians were too busy to complete all the installations. And the next available appointment was 2 weeks later. I asked them if they were gonna compensate for my mobile data usage or hotspot rental but I am sure you could have guessed the answer to that. I would stay away from such an irresponsible and unprofessional company.But I would like to point out that all the customer representatives were so kind. I am sure they feel miserable for working that company.

      Centurylink when cancelling will try to charge you for the entire month even if you cancel within the first 2 days of your billing cycle. No where on the billing or Terms of Service is this shown. All they say is on their corporate website they say they won't prorate. Even with trying to work with them and let them know that the service is cancelled and they are charging you for something you don't have anymore they don't seem to care at all. Terrible customer service and no want to work with you or be understanding at all. Do not use this company if possible and try to switch to someone who will care about you.

      After a long and frustrating journey with Centurylink as our internet provider, we switched to *******. (located in **********)Let the test speak for itself. Since we have both services during the switch I'd like to share some data.Comcast: download speed=94.7Mbps / upload speed=14.8Mbps Centurylink: download speed=17.9Mps / upload speed=.91Mbps We've had the Centurylink service tech out to our house with no luck. Centurylink tells us that they provide much faster speeds, but my tests over the past months have consistently shown that they do not.

      This company is impossible raised our rates 87% with no warning. Of course they say they sent email on 11/22/2024 but we never got an email from them. When asked for them to send us the transmittal of course crickets. I am still trying to get somewhere froward with them and the communication is slime to none. Find another company trust me, you will be doing yourself a favor!!!!

      The ********************* has been horrible in the ******, ** area for two weeks. It was down for almost two full days last week. For the past 3 days, its been awfully slow. Support is not helpful.

      This company demonstrated a lack of accountability throughout our experience. We applied for internet service and had a technician come to set it up. However, the technician informed us that installation could not be completed because the fiber cable had not been buried. We were instructed to contact the company to address this issue.Upon calling, we were told it wasn't their responsibility but that the matter would be escalated to the appropriate department. Despite numerous follow-up calls over several months, speaking with various departments and even escalating the issue to higher management, no progress was made and the issue remained unresolved.Ultimately, we decided to part ways with the company due to their continued inaction and poor communication.

      I had the great misfortune of subscribing to this malignant business. I initiated service from this thief and regretted enrolling in autopay one insolent *** exceeded the amount suggested, which sent my bank account into extreme overdraft. I was compelled to resolve that issue with the bank. Another *** who attempted to rectify the overcharge returned the monies back to my account but by that time I had been charged late fees. I was subjected to not only pay the fees, but it left my one income household without monies for my medical appointments etc. I conversed with another *** who allowed my suggestion of making reasonable installments until the balance seems amenable. Well, long story short, this POS is threatening me to make full payment or lose service. I would not be in this position had their employee had not gone buckwild with my bank account 4 times in one friggin day! They will have their property back, .... If the know the way to the dump. ****.
