5 starsMy husband and I had been looking to finish our basement for a couple of years now, but all of the quotes we received were pricey and didn't really fit our needs. However, after contacting ElkStone, we knew we had found the best basement finishing company in ******. *** Totems immediately reached out and was very helpful. The blueprint he drew up for our space was perfect - even better than we had imagined. The design studio consultant, Makenzee *****, was very knowledgeable and helped us to pick out the best options for our basement. Our project manager, ***** ******, was amazing and kept all of the contractors on time - including the work they allowed us to do on our own (painting and wiring for our theater). The schedule they gave us at the beginning of our project was followed without delay. It only took about 7 weeks to complete what we needed. Also, all of the contractors were extremely professional and provided excellent, quality work.Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the basement finishing we received from ElkStone! We had an outstanding experience finishing our ***** sq. ft. basement, complete with a bedroom, bathroom, wet bar, and a spacious open area. From the start, *** helped us put together a clear, reasonable budget and set expectations that were realistic and well-communicated. During construction, *****, our project manager, kept everything on track with excellent communication, and the subcontractors were punctual and efficient throughout. We really appreciated how organized the process waseverything we needed to provide was clearly outlined with timelines and cost estimates, helping us stay on budget. The project stayed right on schedule, finishing in just 8 weeks with about 6 weeks of active construction. Were thrilled with both the process and the finished spaceit truly exceeded our expectations. We would definitely use Elkstone Basements on future projects and recommend them to friends or family.

We LOVE our finished basement! The ElkStone team was incredibly easy to work with, the proposal was both detailed and straightforward, and the work was finished to completion on schedule. 5 starsElkStone Basements is the best. Our basement finishing job could not have been better or more pleasant. The total job was ***** sq. ft. and the price was a little over $95 K. Everyone associated with the job was so professional. My wife and I have remodeled seven houses over 45 years, and this was the easiest and best experience that we have ever had. ***** ******* (sales) told us initially that the job would take about six weeks. ***** ***** (construction mgr.) was incredible and stayed in touch with us almost daily. 5 starsWe were very pleased with our basement finishing experience with ElkStone Basements. Our designer was *****, and our project manager was *****. Construction began MUCH faster than we expected. While obtaining other bids, other construction companies gave a start date 3-4 months in the future. ElkStone seemed more organized than other companies, and they were ready to start a few weeks later. The construction work was high quality, and all sub-contractors did a great job. Our ~900 sq ft basement took 7 weeks from start date to final walk-through. We are very pleased with the outcome and can't wait to start decorating our large, beautiful space. Elkstone did a fantastic job from start to finish on our basement remodel. **** (sales **** and ****** (project manager) were both so pleasant to work with and both were extremely responsive to any questions we ever had. 5 starsOur basement finishing experience with Elkstone in **********, ** was exceptional! I have high expectations and am often left disappointed during home construction/remodel projects because contractors do not hold the same level of expectations. That was not the case with Elkstone! Led by our phenomenal project manager, ***, the entire Elkstone team, and team of sub-contractors ensured the project was completed to my satisfaction. *** was incredible on top of every detail, and on time, or ahead of, our schedule throughout the entire project. The few instances we had quality issues *** was already on top of fixing it before I even mentioned it. *** is responsive, detail-oriented, proactive, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. His ability to successfully manage the project allowed me as the client to relax during the project because I knew he had things handled. I would hire *** to manage any home project with excitement hes a rock star! Our salesperson, *****, was also great. He was patient, thorough, and responsive. Elkstone is honest with costs. They quote the project to the best of their ability with the scope of work included at that time and adjust (up or down) as the project goes on. So the more you know up front, the more accurate your quote will be and the more smooth the construction and decision making process will go. Elkstone holds to their timeline, so having a good idea of what you want ahead of time will ensure you get a quality product youre happy with. The visibility to the calendar and what's going on during each day of the project is awesome. One note for improvement would be dust mitigation. We had an air purifier, sealed off the door to the basement, covered return vents, and I didnt run my furnace while they were working, and massive amounts of dust still found their way upstairs. ElkStone did a fantastic job finishing our basement near **********, **. We finished almost 700 sf with a gym, full bath, wet bar and entertainment area. We couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out! ??It started with ***** discussing our vision and coming over for measurements. He had great attention to detail and called out flaws in our design and ways to improve our layout. Once we signed the contract we immediately got access to our portal, a color coded calendar and a project list with what to expect. The entire process was pretty seamless and we were blown away that our project ended right on our estimated end date (thanks to our PM, *****). The vendors for flooring, countertops and appliances were professional and helpful. *****, our project manager, was always one step ahead and kept the project moving! He referenced our calendar and told us in advance what we needed before the next trade arrived. He responded immediately to any concerns we had and had our best interest in ********* any construction project there were unexpected costs and hiccups but our PM was very transparent and we always knew the cost up front before any work was done - there were no surprises.Overall we had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend and rehire Elkstone.ElkStone, Inc.
