5 starsElkstone was AMAZING! We loved our project manager, ******! She kept us up dated on how progress was going daily. They even demolished a DIY bathroom, that was not properly done, into a lovely guest bathroom. The whole team was respectful of our property and understood that my dogs have special needs. The holidays and weather did become an issue at times to end up off schedule, but ****** reorganized them in a timely manner to still get the basement completed on time. We recently finished our basement through Elkstone. From beginning of the project until last item on the punch list was completed, their eagerness to please and expertise was impressive! Being an interior designer for 20+ years I've seen a lot of construction projects. Elkstone makes it as easy as possible on the homeowners by sticking to the schedule, being professional and knowledgeable, trades that do their job extremely well and work together with the other trades. Lastly, the Elkstone software portal is awesome! Answers all your questions, has a project calendar, task list and invoice paying all built in. We referred to this portal a lot during the project!

This is the second basement finishing project we have done with Elkstone and both went extremely well. ***** helped us through a very thoughtful design and **** was probably the best project manager weve ever worked with. His communication and attention to detail were superb and our fairly large ~2100 square foot basement was finished in 90 days. Were very pleased with the end result even though we went WAY over budget - that was more on us, not them. Wed highly recommend Elkstone and we already had a couple of friends complete their basement projects with them too.ElkStone, Inc.

Basement finish was exactly on schedule and exactly what I asked for. The budget was right and the team was very responsive to questions throughout the process. All of the employees and subcontractors were polite and helpful. I highly recommend working with Elkstone!ElkStone, Inc.

The job was handled very professionally. A calendar was provided, and we were never more than a day off schedule. The Project Manager made himself available to answer questions and handle concerns. We love the way the basement turned out. The Subcontractors were all very courteous and professional. The designer made several suggestions we would have never thought of that made a tremendous difference to the overall appearance and functionality of the basement. There were very few items on the punch list, and they were minor and finished within days of final inspection.ElkStone, Inc.

Basement finishing - ************************************** did a fantastic job finishing my basement. Initially, I was concerned that having a furnace in the center would limit the available space, but they developed a floor plan that not only worked but looked even better once completed. While I didnt shop around for a cheaper option, the quality and expertise Elkstone provided were well worth the investment. There were no unexpected budget changes, and they frequently made design suggestions that significantly enhanced the final outcome. I also appreciated that most of the work was done through the basement window, minimizing disruptions. Their project calendar kept things on track, and I was impressed with how closely they stuck to it. A special mention to my general contractor, *****, who was always responsive to my many questions. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!ElkStone, Inc.

IMPECCABLE! We came to Elkstone Basements because our 27-year old son was in a bad car accident in APRIL 2024 and is paraplegic. While our son was in the hospital and the ***** spinal cord injury rehabilitation center, Elkstone Basements went right to work in drafting a finished basement mockup/blueprint of our basement design. The Elkstone Basement designer, **** was seamless in designing our basement in utilizing every square inch of our basement in the most functional way while taking into consideration the *** specifications we would need for our son as far as door openings, hallway spacing and roll-in, curbless shower within the bathroom, just to give examples of his attention to detail. Pricing for our entire basement finish was exceptional, as Elkstone worked with us to diligently fulfill our *** needs as well as our wants without cutting corners in construction/craftsmanship, or with any inferior products/materials or supply. Our Project Manager - ******, is a God-send. If one were to look up the two primary factors of project management toward completing a project on time and within budget, youd see Jesikas face next to the caption. With everything coming at us at light speed with our son, ****** created the most calm and effective and efficient project environment in order for us to focus on family while she seamlessly handled all behind the scenes conflicts and time constraints, among other project challenges. From framing, plumbing, electric, dry wall, etc., ****** kept all project initiatives on time, working any change orders along the way. Elkstone Basements is SUPERIOR and second to none as an organization with their professionalism, but more importantly, their emotional intelligence in taking care of their customer. We started out basement with a general contractor and we had a ****** in what not to do. After that disaster, we still needed out basement finished and we found elkstone. The people were professional. They have a handy dashboard with a calendar that gave me an idea of what would happen when. All changes were documented through the dashboard. I saw the project manager a lot - and when he took vacation, I saw his replacement a lot.I will use these guys again if I ever save up the money to redo my kitchen.ElkStone, Inc.

We finished our basement this summer with Elkstone. Process was very smooth from initial sales visit to finishing up punchout. All Elkstone employees that we interacted with throughout the process were very responsive, helpful, and professional. Our Project Manager was on site everyday and made sure that we passed inspections when they were scheduled. Also, all subcontractors that Elkstone uses were extremely professional and very good at their specific trade. We had a great experience with Elkstone, and would use them again in the future should we ever need to finish another basement.ElkStone, Inc.

5 starsWe are two time Elkstone clients and have had excellent experiences both times. We finished our basement with them in 2021 and just completed a full renovation of our main floor and kitchen. We worked with **** on design, ***** was our project manager for our most recent job, ******** helped us with design in their showroom, and ***** was an absolute ***** handling multiple questions and updates to make sure we got our kitchen cabinets just right. We are positively thrilled with the outcome of our project and cant believe this is our house!We are especially grateful to ***** for being incredibly organized, present, patient, calm and cool when anything didnt go according to plan, and proficient at keeping our project on track/on schedule. Never once did we have to question when work was occurring or where subcontractors were, and all subcontractors did beautiful work!The portal that they use that is client facing is also so helpful- you can log in and see everything scheduling oriented, handle change orders immediately, and view your entire project efficiently and transparently.Were impressed, in love with our house again, and so very thankful we chose to work with Elkstone. Look no further, prospective clients- this company does not disappoint, they keep your budget transparent and in order, and deliver what they promise on time and impeccably!
