      I would like to update a review I posted earlier this month. I had been a customer for many years, and my landlord decided to sell the home I had been in over 20 years. With this change I had to relocate and could no longer use Dish! I called to cancel my service and got the run around. I was also told I would be charged an early term fee. I was super upset, and wrote the company, and also put online reviews. I want to follow up because I was so happy to receive an email update, stating that I would be able to my service and not be charge a early term fee. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

      Dish Network slammed my account with channels and charges I didnt authorize when I called to move my service to a new address. I was on the phone for over 41 minutes trying to get my account credited, had to talk to a supervisor then she was trying to sell me services. Terrible customer service, Installers are bad, call centers not in the *************, over all the worst. I will be switching to another company.

      Got talked into a two year contract with a ******. The original call was about the remote not working, I was told that it was a DVR issue and Dish were going to discontinue those and if I wanted to keep my service I would have to upgrade to a ******. I reluctantly agree and got a two year price guarantee and now they have decided to remove a channel that was in my package and tell me after no notification from them at all, that in order to watch that channel I would have to go to a higher package as they decided to move that channel to another package,,,,,,,,after I already had the channel {Channel 138 TNT} How is it that they agree to a contract and THEN change it? That is a breach of contract and If I were to change or discontinue my service I would be hit with a fee. This is ridiculous once a contract is agree upon THEY should ALSO have to keep with said contract, I have been a Dish network customer for 20 plus years and never missed paying my bill. This is how you treat long paying customers? I was also NEVER told about having to buy insurance to cover THEIR equipment or problems. Why do I have to pay for them to fix THEIR equipment if I didnt break it? This happer is CONSTANTLY wanting to switch to my internet, I can understand during a storm but on clear days no clouds etc, why is it NOT connecting to their Dish on my roof. Also if I wanted internet tv I would have gone with **** uverse. Im paying for DISH satellite not internet. There is NOTHING around blocking it. Not asking for free services or a discount, I just want what was decided upon and Im paying for. Its no wonder this company keeps losing customers. I researched and if they change what we agreed upon without my consent that is the very definition of breaking a contract!!!!! I would drop this service if I wouldnt have to pay the cancellation fee that somehow they can acrew but NOTHING happens to them when THEY break the contract. Once this two years is up IM GONE!!!!!!!!!! 0 stars!!!!!!

      Applied for DISH Network's Price Lock promotion on April 14 2025. It was suppose to lock the monthly charges for one year. Received a confirmation e-mail. On July 3 2025 after only two months from the agreement got a bill increase of $16. Got no coherent explanation from DISH.

      Dish will not allow you to cancel service free and clear. We cancelled our service 3 years ago in may of 2022 after 5 months of back and forth issues with being over charged, calling to get charges corrected, being promised credits on our account and then not recieving said credits..rinse and repeat. We returned our equipment and paid any remaining balances. We were ready to be done with the drama. We then kept getting charged for service in june, july and august. We had to keep calling month after month to reiterate that our service has been cancelled since may, we returned our equipment in May, we no longer recieve service and we are still be charged for services. The **** would help and keep telling us charges were reversed and that the cancellation is final this time. Finally, 4 months later, we stopped recieving new bills and charges. Fast-forward to present time(6/2025) and we are sent to collections for a months of service that we were charged for in 2022! I called dish and spoke with rep ******** #6xy who basically ran me around in circles trying to deny any facts i gave him even when he could see charges were made after i cancelled, that i had to call multiple times in the months after cancelling to have charges reversed, and even where **** had to re-cancel my account. I asked to speak with someone else and he told me"there is noone above me that can help you". He also insinuated i didnt cancel my account but intead they "terminated" my account for non-payment...in June 2022! Dish will continually harass you for years over money you dont owe. They will gaslight you, confuse the situation, not do what they say and charge you for services you did not recieve. Keep you reciepts, emails, phone calls and bills. Or better yet, do not start service with them!

      My parents were loyal DISH customers for many years. Sadly both parents recently passed away suddenly. A couple months ago I closed down the account and we didn't have access to the equipment to return. The agent I talked to said that's going to be waived in this traumatic situation. I was pleased. Yesterday I received a bill for the equipment. After an hour on the phone with customer service today they refused to honor that initial waiver and wanted me to file a homeowner's insurance claim. I gave them the original confirmation number from when I closed down the service and had the equipment return waived but they saw no record of that waiver. Short of recording all my calls with them I told them I had no other option but went from being encouraged by their service and care to now deeply disappointed and disgusted.

      Dish advertised a price of $95 for a half season of *** Extra Innings but when I tried to redeem that offer they wouldn't honor it and tried to upcharge me $120.They shouldn't advertise a price they aren't prepared to honor.

      Dish Network/** ****** Consumer Award Winner I left "The Dark Side",Spectrum after some ***** years,of "negotiating our triple bundle service",phone/internet/cable.Prices increased,so,one would call Spectrum and get a price cut.They stopped price ********** I left and went over to ********* Customer Service,is outstanding,all-pros,understanding,helpful,courteous,kind,compassionate,ambassadors for Dish and their Customers.I've been with Dish 7-8 years,and our price of Dish has risen.I called into Dish Customer Service,requesting a price cut.I spoke with Dish "Ambassadors" *** and ****.**** "sealed the Deal",as to a price ****** I stated before,outstanding,all-pros,understanding,helpful,courteous,kind,compassionate,Dish ****************, hire 20 more like *** and ************* give them a "Bonus",& or a 10% raise!**** *.Boerne,*****

      Absolutely worst company I have ever dealt with period. was moving and needed to terminate my service. Took 7 calls to finally get the job done ! Will never use them again !

      I only wish that I could give this a zero. I've been a dish customer for 15 plus years and last November my wife and I were moving from ******** to *******. we had our dish transferred to the new address in *******. upon arriving there they had installed a ****** which we did not want. they also build us an additional monthly fee for the ******. after arguing with them for an hour they lowered our price for 3 months to 93 dollars from a $120. they said that after 3 months it would go back up to the 120 which it did. however, after 5 months it went up to $261. we paid that but called and canceled our dish subscription. they then told us that my moving we agreed to a new 2-year contract and that we were going to have to pay the difference between the 90 and 120 and that was why the bill went up to 161. we did not agree to any of this and now we are going to be forced to pay a $310 fee or in their words be turned over to a collection agency to have our credit room. over the 15 years that we've had this it is been a constant battle with them to maintain a steady stable price. I would never recommend dish television to anyone. only use them as a very last resort. we have tried to negotiate with them, reason with them, and argue with them all to know avail.
