WOW is a terrible service!! I might have to get something else!! BUT WOW customer service is worse than terrible. I always get the run around. It has now been two weeks to get assistance to get my email back up. I have called and done their "live chat" and still no resolution.

We recently experienced intermittent internet service via fiber optic cable with Wow. This issue sporadically occurred for about 4 or 5 months. It finally got bad enough, and Wow could not diagnose or repair remotely, that it was determined that a technician must visit our home. When this site visit occurred, the technician found that a wire in the outside terminal box was loose. He also noted that the service panel inside of the box was over 5 years old and could also be related to the problem. The technician replaced the panel inside the box and ensured that all of the wiring was secure. Our service was fully restored after this. About 3 weeks later we received our next bill from Wow which included a $64 charge for the technician service. I started a chat session with a Wow agent named "*******" in order to investigate this erroneous charge. After many minutes of researching, he finally stated that his supervisor would "allow" him to remove the charge as a One Time Courtesy. Excuse me, what? I asked ******* if it was normal for Wow to charge customers when their equipment is faulty. He stated that it was. It's incredible to me that any utility service would charge one of their customers for issues with said utility's equipment!Consumers please be aware of predatory practices like these!

Never do business with Wow Internet. When I closed my business, they charged me $589.62 to cancel my services as an early cancellation fee. I had been with them for 3 years. Absolutely disgusting and outrageous.

Internet constantly goes out. I have called and complained several times, and unless the "customer service **** has the checklist in front of them, they can only say sorry, I can't see an outage in your area!I have called several times about this problem "signal drop" sometimes 8AM, 10AM, 2PM, 815PM, this is almost a daily occurrence from 30 seconds up to an hour. The lines and node/transfer boxes where I live need to be checked, repaired, or replaced from age wear and tear. At one point years ago, with the same problem, there was a hole thru the box allowing water intrusion, overheating, and shorting. I have called and asked several times for all of my area to be checked out because I am the last house on this particular line. While the net works good, when it works, most of the time when it goes out, I am in the middle of something I need the net for.PLEASE Send some qualified techs out to check the nodes on your lines in my area and restore our service from poor to at least great. I am being charged PRIME Dollars and getting ***** service!Thank you

After being a loyal customer for over 20 years my email accounts crashed. Only 1 of 4 accounts worked. Could not log out of it. Could not switch to other accounts. Could not retrieve my emails or address book. Problem started July 8. Nine phone calls and 12 reps through August 5 went unresolved until I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor, ****, who PARTIALLY resolved the problem. I never got promised responses from the advanced technical people (x2), The *** reps didn't get my meaning, giving answers to questions I didn't ask. I had to insist on speaking to an English first language speaking rep. That was next to impossible. Very poor service from reps who may have passed their *** class but can't figure out what you are asking/describing about a technical problem. W.O.W. like many other companies is cheaping out by routing customers to foreign counties, in my recent experience the were located in ********* and the ********** and perhaps others. I have been WAY OVERCHARGED and my bill was quickly slashed by 20% with this complaint. Shame on WOWWAY for their lousy service. There are plenty of other carriers in the area from which to choose. I"m likely going to switch to internet through my mobile phone provider. I nominate WOW for the yellow rag award.

After the storms that hit ******** in mid-June, my internet was out for a week. I contacted WOW twice and they stated there were technicians in the area and it would be restored. It still hasnt so I decided to check with them again. They stated theyd have to send a technician out. Technician comes out only to find out the line had been severed in the storm. If there were technicians out already, why wasnt this fixed? WOW agreed to a minimal credit, but when I checked my bill, it was almost twice as much. I was told it was a $64 technician fee because I dont have service technician. I have NEVER heard of this fee of this service and Ive been with WOW since 2018. It is no where in their internet terms and conditions. This seems highly unethical.

Had problems with my phone service, called they sent a tech out he heard the problem, unplugged the modem, went outside to box, said everything was saying it was %100., left, did not get the problem fixed. Called back to service ***** they sent another tech out, he did absolutely nothing, said everything was fine, left, still the problem not fixed. Called 3rd time I said to make sure you send someone who can trouble shoot a phone problem, tech came in said it was my cordless phone, need new ones, bought new ones, problem still existed on the new phones. Got on internet talked with someone they said all they could do was send a new tech, I told them this is the last one, if not fixed, I am switching cable company. He came said he was not knowledgeable with phone problems, but changed modem for the second time and ran another new cable line from house to pole, still had issues, he said he exhausted all efforts, he said he spent enough time here, left. I myself unplugged the new phones at night, let my old ones re-charge till morning, well guess what they were working. Got the bill WOW charged me 4 technician fees of $64 dollars($256), I called said I was not paying, they said I had to pay one cause one tech said it was my phone, I explained to him I was talking on my old phones and had returned the new ones, it was not the phone,, they gave me to a supervisor, but he just said the same thing and said I needed to buy the protection plan which is $5 a month. Just would like to know how is it my fault that the equipment from WOW was faulty, I should not have to pay not one of the tech fees. I am looking into new companies now.

Terrible customer service. Lies on referral program. Company makes you beg for what they advertised and want customers to jump through hoops to reject their services.Customer service representatives have little to no English speaking experience. When asked if another language spoken to make communication easier hung up on.Referral program is meant for the referral and the new customer to both receive $100 credit. And so on.Internet is good but customer service is terrible. They owe me $400 on referrals alone, and they want to make you feel like youre in the wrong.
