      Do NOT buy your furniture from here! Their products are not quality products. Ive had my furniture for barely six months and Im already having issues.I bought a sectional and a matching ottoman. I spent roughly $1600 for that which is a huge investment for me as a single mother. The pillows for the sectional are already flat and my ottoman has a huge dip that I assumed was from my cat laying on it occasionally. We rarely use the ottoman because it is huge and our room is small so it gets in the way. I attempted to get warranty repair on the ottoman since its been barely 6 months since I purchased my furniture but I was told that it cannot be repaired under warranty since I thought it was from my cat, who is roughly 5-7 pounds laying on the ottoman occasionally. Supposedly that falls under their warranty exclusions of improperly maintained and is pet damage. Simply from the thought of a pet laying on it. Now Im left with an ottoman that cant be used and looks awful. Absolutely horrible customer service. I would have never invested my money in this business if I knew that they operated the way they do.I recommend you find a furniture company with better quality and customer service.

      Hello, looking at the pictures we have on file we see the ottoman frame is broken...which we agree couldn't be from a cat's weight. We are unsure how that much damage could happen in the home so we would like to know more. We will reach out to you with hopes of resolution. Thank you, AFW

      I bought a leather sofa set and had delivered in July 3rd of 2022. an electronic recliner that was part of this sofa set stop working. AFW no longer sells this model and offered to repair. but after discussions it was best to have it exchanged. I did exchange order 84F821976. I went to AFW on 9/16 and bought another leather sofa set. I paid the 15% fee. when the driver came over he said it was dirty/ dusty. but he he could not show me where. He took pictures and left. I then get a call from a customer service agent ******* that said their was damage, pet hair and dirty. I disputed this and offered to see these pictures and to send mine. ****** refused. I asked for her supervisor she also refused. I advised that this is not acceptable. I wanted this fix. Rep. ******* made no offer to fix this and said that I was upset and to call back and she hung up on me. I called back and another agent scheduled a repair person. I voiced my displeasure of this experience and rep did not respond. This experienced is totally unacceptable.

      We emailed the customer pictures of the merchandise that was dusty and covered in pet hair that our drivers posted in our dispatch track system (when our drivers were at the customers home to pick up the merchandise) 9/20/22 at 16:21:54 with and explanation of why we refused his return. We will reopen this case and contact the customer with hopes of resolution. Thank you, AFW

      BUYER BEWARE!!I purchased an electric recliner from AFW store on **********************.On Dec. 10th 2021 the chair would not recline anymore so I called customer service and they said it was still under warranty and wanted some pictures of the serial number etc and would send out a tech to fix it within **** days. 5 MONTHS LATER they still had not shown up so I called again and they asked for me to email a different pic which I did and over a month later (June 16th) they sent a tech out and he said the motor was burned out and they would order the part. 2 months later (Aug 17th) I still had no contact so I emailed again and they informed me that the chair had been discontinued and stated "Due to the length of time in the home and the overall condition of the recliner, we are unable to offer a replacement. However, we would like to offer you a $100 in store credit if you would like to purchase a new recliner. "So I waited over 8 months for them to honor their warranty and they then say "due to the length of time in the home and the condition (which is fine) they will give me a lousy $100 off a new chair!!!!Absolutely pathetic customer service. If I could give them no stars on this review I would.

      I'm 42 years old and this is the first review I have ever written.My wife and I purchased a sectional in October 2021. Over ten months, the two pieces of the sectional came apart, the frame squeaked (and was possibly broken), and each piece of the sectional slanted. We called customer service to submit a warranty claim. We were told to provide pictures (which we did). We were then told that a technician would come to inspect the sectional. The technician was very friendly and told us that the sectional would likely need to come into the shop for repair. We received a call that afternoon to schedule the pickup (which went to my voicemail). I called customer service back the next day to schedule the pickup. The customer service representative informed me that I would need to pay for transport, and if it wasn't a manufacturer's defect, it wouldn't be covered by the warranty. I was informed I'd also need to pay for the labor to determine whether there was a manufacturer's defect. This was the first time I was told any of this. I asked how it could be possible that the condition of the sectional (as described above) would result from "normal wear and tear" and not from a manufacturer's (or installation) defect. The representative told me it that it was from "abuse". After telling her I have no kids, no pets, and have only used the sectional for sitting and watching TV, she implied that I was lying (based on her 20+ years of experience). Later in the conversation, she mentioned that "normal wear and tear" would result in the condition described above after ten months (which was oddly contradictory to the "abuse" comment). She eventually hung up on me. I've never been on a customer service call with any company like this before.Bottom line ... The furniture is low quality and they don't honor the warranty. They make a show of responding to your warranty claim, but they won't honor it. The customer service is also extremely unprofessional.

      We do charge minimal fees for service calls (trip charge) and pick up fees which are refundable if it is determined there is a manufacturing defect (for merchandise under warranty). If the problem was called into AFW customer service when the merchandise was still under warranty we will honor the warranty if the merchandise goes out of warranty by a determined amount of time depending on the cause of the delay. We suggest that this customer goes to our website AFW.COM and under "Warranty" submits a claim and we will be happy to revisit the claim with hopes of resolution. Thank you, AFW

      LOUSY LOUSY LOUSY **************** and Business Practice ********************************************* Outlet located at **********************************************, I have not received no calls as of today, I left messages with the American Furniture Outlet-Warehouse Manager because I was told by the **************** Manager not to come and complaint at the business site, its only handle through phone calls . I sat outside of the business almost an hour and no one came out as I was told to wait outside so I went into the business to **************** and asked that I was talking with someone that told me to wait outside. Finally, I got tired of waiting again and went to one of the *************** The Manager was very rude and disrespect and did not want to listen to my dissatisfaction with two items (Persian Rugs). Apparently, he was the **************** Manager. He told me that not to come to business and compliant that its is handle through telephone. American Warehouse staff sold me two very expensive persian rugs approximately total cost of $1,000.00 that were stained, used floor show, dirty, and totally walked on. In fact, when it was delivered, I told the Delivery guy about the rugs and to replace my rugs that was sold to me.. He told me to go back to the Store and reported.

      We think this customer posted a complaint against the incorrect store as none of our stores are located in the locations the customer referred to. We are ******************** (********, ***** and AZ), not American Furniture Outlet. Actually we Googled "American Furniture Outlet" and found no stores having this name. Thank you AFW

      I purchased furniture 5/19/2022 that was on back ordered and slated to be here 6/25/2022. Well this is clearly 7/23/2022 and still know furniture. Ive contacted my salesperson and although extremely nice Im tired of being told its enroute from *******? That was 7/7/2022. I was told it would be here in 2-3 weeks on that date and waiting on my nightstands. Im just tired of the runaround and having to make arrangements for when the furniture does arrive. My work schedule is wonky and a really wanted it when promised.

      worst crooks and customer service...bought a reputable brand name recliner that was Made with a missing foam section.since nothing is broken afw would not send inspector to look at it. i argued on phone and in store with managers 2 times to get it looked at. inspected 7.8.22 (bought it sept 2021)..said it is missing a large section of 3" foam and this is why you sit on Springs.then afw wanted to make money repairing it while they told me they would exchange it. afw ordered the parts without telling me. afw did not call as promissed to set up exchange. i called days later and they now say we ordered parts (first i heard of that)i argued with low level over n over. they all claim they are managers(only account managers ..if you ask, they can not make changes or decisions)after about 50 calls they offered to keep 140 bucks to exchange it. i argued saying.. YOU SELL ME A RECLINER BUILT WITH MISSING PARTS AND WANT 140 BUCKS TO EXCHANGE OR RETURN. they dont carry it and are not buying it anymore.i argued another 20 or so calls. then a very rude corporate manager from colorado calls and says if you RETURN IT AND WE GIVE 100% REFUND .. YOU CAN NOT SHOP HERE ANYMORE. NO ONE UNDER YOUR ADDRESS OR PHONE NUMBER EITHER.LIKE I WANT THIS EXPERIENCE AGAIN.LIKE I WANT MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS TO HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE .... OR YOU THE READER.I SPOKE TO MANUFACTURER. THEY TOO CLAIM AFW IF DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH. AFW DOES NOT TAKE CARE OF MANY CUSTOMERS THAT DO NOT AGREE WITH AFW MAKING REPAIRS ( WHEN AFW DOES REPAIRS UNDER WARRANTY..AFW MAKES MONEY BY BILLING THE MANUFACTURER FOR PARTS AND LABOR AND TRIP)IN OTHER WORDS.. AFW WAS TO EITHER MAKE MONEY ON MY REPAIR. MAKE MONEY ON MY RETURN OR EXCHANGE (25% RESTOCK FEE)OR AFW CORP CALLS AND THREATENS YOU ..       A customer calling in after approximately 8 months of use to say there is a large section of foam missing is questionable. A customer saying they spoke to the manufacture and the manufacture said AFW is difficult to work with is very questionable. AFW does NOT need to make money on warranty work (that is NOT how warranty work works) so that is a untrue statement...however we do not meet unreasonable requests from customers... as that cost us money which may not mean anything to this customer in this case. With that, a customer wanting new (but the same) merchandise but in a different color with no usage fees is also questionable. After many belligerent calls and threats of going to his credit card company AFW agreed to allow the customer to return the merchandise for a full refund and we suggested that this customer shop at a store that better meets his needs.       I BOUGHT A SECTIONAL SOFA (https://www.afw.com/bay-ridge-2pc-****-sectional) IN 2021 THANKSGIVING; ITS ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY. WITHIN 4 MONTHS :-- THE CUSHIONS ARE GONE. -- IF YOU SIT, BASE IS LOOSENED AND ITS GOING VERY DEEP. HARD TO GET OUT OF IT.-- STARTED GETTING BACKPAIN BY USING THIS.NOT WORTH FOR $1100 AND NOW SUFFERING WITH BACKPAIN BECAUSE OF THIS (If we use dining table chair for some days without sitting on this sofa, backpain is getting better.. so i am 100% sure that the backpain is because of this Sofa ONLY)..STRUGGLING WITH AFW CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR LAST 2-3 MONTHS AND VERY POOR SUPPORT IN UNDERSTANDING CUSTOMER PAIN.I STARTED RECOMMENDING MY FRIENDS TO EVEN STAY AWAY FROM AFW ITSELF DUE TO POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND POOR QUALITY GOODS THEY CARRY

      Cushions breaking in is not the same as cushions breaking down. This set is almost a year old and we offered to have a tech go to the home to do an evaluation to see if we can assist further. There is a $25 charge to send a service tech out, however if the problem is deemed to be a defect the $25 would be refunded. AFW

      This set is not year old. Bought on 11/21/21 and working with AFW complaining from 6/5 after suffering for a month or so.So it really lasted for <5 months only...So far in last 2 months, no proper response from AFW until i complain here to see some response stating tech support and warrenty.AFW is just playing to push time and not ready to accept ****@ SOFA u need to buy every 5-6 months.. Such a POOR QUALITY.. Such a POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE>>
