      Bought a sectional and two recliners. They were delivered on 1/10/23. 14 days later I put my elbow on the arm rest to get up and I heard something break. Sounded like cardboard. Called the store, they told me I had 2 options; get it repaired or return it but that I would have to file a warranty claim. I filed the claim, sent pictures and their response is that I can return it for a 15% restocking fee. I am not paying a restocking fee because I would not be returning it if it had lasted more than 14 days!!! Its not even about the money. Its about really bad customer service after selling me a piece of c*** that cost $1500. I doubt anyone would want to pay $1500 for c*** much less pay for them to take it back! So incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

      January, 2023 Bought 2 recliners and couch September 2022, 1 recliner the seat and the part that extends out its like the padding is going flat/failing, wrinkled, sent information to warranty department with pictures,(no talking to a person has to be done by online) got a response that they would not be doing anything about it because it was due to normal wear, REALLY its only 3 1/2 months old, and it already looks aweful cant imagine after 6 months what it will look like, by 1 year it will be trash, I guess we are not supposed to sit on it, just look at it. So dissatisfied with this entire process and the lack of doing the right thing, oh thats right its about money and profit not about quality and taking care of a customer. Expected it to last longer the 3 1/2 months. Will not EVER purchase or recommend them ever. Would give a zero rating if I could.

      Horrible experience (************* location) with the purchase and delivery of high end massage chair (price is for another time). Requested phone call and still waiting to share my disappointing experience. They have no idea when you take off work to schedule a delivery the sacrifice one makes with their work schedule. Then a defect on product as they were assembling which then I have to take off work again for a reschedule. Person on phone when letting me know they have to do the reschedule, humors me and says we will 'comp' the second delivery fee. Are you kidding? You were gonna charge me a second delivery fee for their mistake sending product off the shelf before examining it. This was after the first delivery they told me they will be showing up 2 hours earlier of the scheduled delivery time. More to this, but the professionalism is to be noted as they press the issue of 100% customer satisfaction ("desire to give value and service to every customer.")

      Our apologies that the merchandise was discovered to have damage when deilvered (and that the delivery was made eariler than the delivery window that was provided). We will contact this valuable customer with hopes of resolution. Note: we do deliver to this address 7 days a week.

      I purchased a gray couch order # **B325959 on 07/28/21. Which the couch was on back order due to covid so I didnt receive it at time of purchase. I put my first warranty claim in on 01/2022. A claims adjuster came to my house to examine my couch and stated 2 pieces of my couch had defects . Claim adjuster stated pieces could not be repaired and new cushion pieces would have to be ordered . February of 2022 I received a email saying parts would be ordered - In March of ************************************************** by May of 2022. I still did not receive my parts when promised so I called and rep stated only the cloth material for my cushions came but no stuffing was placed in the cushions and they are reaching out to the manufacture and this would take up to 3 months . 3 months went by and I didnt hear anything . I called and the rep stated the manufacture would not send the cushion pieces stuffed and afw would have to pick up my pieces and stuff the new cloths that the manufacture sent . I requested one piece would be picked up at a time so my family could have something to sit on and rep stated that would be fine. I had my chase piece picked up and when it was brought back it was same cloth I original had on there that was defected but with more damage. I called the warranty department and explained the extensive damage and that the cloth was the original fabric and the rep hung up on me so I submitted a claim with pictures I received no response . I called again today 01/09/2023 and spoke to ******** she stated I had to submit a new claim even after expressing Ive been submitting claims for over a year . I requested to speak to someone higher up and she stated I couldnt and thats all she could do . My family has had a detected couch since 08/2021 . Even after repair it was brought back more damaged . I have submitted numerous claim with pictures and still nothing has been resolved .

      Zero Stars. We ordered a massage chair worth over $3000 - delivery fees were nearly $300. A defective massage chair was delivered. We requested a replacement chair - the request was approved by AFW management.. A new chair was sent to our home. Upon arrival, the rude, nasty driver (who seemed hungover), tested the NEW remote on the OLD (defective) chair. When asked to bring the new chair into the home to test with the new remote - he refused. Even the driver's helper was shocked at how he treated me. After trying to reason with the driver, letting him know that the new remote might work on the new chair, he continued to refuse to bring the new chair into the home. We brought his manager on the line and tried to explain the situation. The driver left without testing or delivering the new chair - he also took the old chair. We requested a full refund on shipping but manager *************************** was incredibly rude and nasty o the phone. He refused to issue a full refund for the shipping charges indicating that we had somehow wasted too much of his time. He hung up on me even though I was rational and respectful. Other agents at AFW were reasonable and considered the request. We have filed a complaint with the BBB. Beware of this business- if you have an issue after purchase, you can expect unprofessional behavior and a run around from management.

      American Furniture Warehouse sells inferior products and WILL NOT STAND BEHIND HE SALE.A guest fell backward out of a counter chair at my home. AFW wanted ***** to have a technician inspect the broken welds.My guest was a tiny female.I will never spent a dime on AFW garbage again.The chair was priced at $200.00 I bot 7.I was a fool.

      Bought 2 leather stand up recliners Last Nov. in a few wks my husband rested his elbow on the armrest of ****** and heard a crunch sound, his elbow went right through the armrest frame. Call AFW they sent someone out to look at it decided it was unrepairable so they replaced it....chair 2 after being reclined looked crooked upon further inspection it appeared that something slipped off of the mechanical component causing the back to sit very crooked, when my husband finally got around to calling in about the 2 chair problems we had about a month left on our year warranty, very rude female at cust service ***** said we would need to take pics, which we did, then they sent someone out to inspect, to be told that they would have to take both chairs in to be repaired. We asked if the 1st chair broke the same way the first time and you guys told us it was "unrepairable", how can you now, magically repair it? Chair2 needs to have entire back and mechanical component replaced..... it'd be 2wks or more. We bough 2 chairs for our livingrm IS all we have in there you take our chairs for 2wks or more what are we supposed to sit on? We didn't spend our hard earned $ to have chairs that keep having problems& to have to deal with rude cust service pple who act like they don't care, mgrs we talked to ALOT who say they'll call us back, never do. Just called cooperate who put us on hold, only 2 hang up on us cause she didn't want to hear that we were not pleased! After reading all these similar bad reviews I a see a pattern.AFW just wants to sell bad furniture, does not want to back up with quality cust. support or warranty after the item leaves the store. It's just all about the $ w/no regard for their loyal customers! Poor way to run a business. Might want to consider all new staff as well, the ones you have, have 0 desire to provide good customer support&are very rude&constantly hang up on people if they don't like what is being said! Hard to believe been in business 50+yrs.

      If I could do 0 stars I would. The manager ******. Is very rude and unfriendly. To customers. Yelling and being unprofessional. ****** if your unhappy at American furniture leave because people that shop there dont need your rudeness and negativity. Its so sad that there is people like this working there. Do better American furniture.

      The purchase was made by my husband ***************************, he came to pick up some furniture that we bought but he forgot the debit card with which he bought the furniture. Call the manager ****** to see if he can help me verify what I had the card for and he was very Rude and he yelled at me that he couldn't do anything because they are the company's policies, I understand that perfectly but the attitude in which he told me is what annoys me, he drove 45 minutes to go there and simply because the card was not working It is not fair that they made him come back for another 45 minutes and go back to the store for another 45 minutes, a lot of gasoline is spent, a lot of time, and still with that attitude of that general manager, it is not fair.

      This is the sorriest furniture store I have every dealt with. I have been waiting for several months on a bar and stools that I purchased. I have been lied to on several occasions by staff from the ********** store and have yet to receive any of the items I purchased back in July. Since I had to purchase more furniture and went to Bels at which I got a better grade furniture that was way cheaper and I had it delivered for free in two days.I would just like to warn everybody who is thinking of doing business with this sorry company.

      We had a great experience at American Furniture Warehouse! We had ********************* help us out at the ******** Supercenter. **** was very attentive and patient with my husband and I. He helped us find the perfect couch and accessories for our living room. I highway recommend asking for **** when you shop at the ****** location! Thank you,*******************************.
