    We had a very frustrating experience with Lion Home Service and their project manager, *********************. After our AC went out, they came out promptly, but what followed was far from satisfactory. They delivered some shocking news, claiming that we had a refrigerant leak and needed a completely new unit, with a staggering quote of $28,000. Additionally, they insisted that our entire AC and heating system needed replacement.In a state of panic, we decided to get a second opinion because we werent convinced that everything needed to be replaced. ********************* had previously checked the capacitor but assured us that it wasnt the issue. He also partially fixed the problem by ensuring the outside fan was spinning, but no cool air was being produced, which he used to back up his claim of a refrigerant leak.However, the second opinion revealed that the refrigerant levels were within acceptable limits and that the real problem was a faulty capacitoran easy and inexpensive fix compared to the costly overhaul Lion Home Service had suggested.To make matters worse, when **** presented the quote, he paused to take a call and then returned with a long-winded story about how their team was working on pricing at the same time he was preparing our quoteon a Sunday morning! This explanation only added to our suspicion that their pricing might not be entirely reliable or transparent.Both my husband and myself are extremely frustrated with the misleading information, aggressive sales tactics, and overall lack of integrity from Lion Home Service. We felt pressured into making a decision that was far from necessary. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before committing to any services from this company. Their approach has left us feeling misled and exploited.

    We had both ***** and ******* help us out with our plumbing today and they were fantastic! We own an older home that comes with....older home quirks....and they were able to let us know exactly what needed to be done and in what priority we should handle some issues. Both technicians were extremely personable, knowledgeable, and we truly enjoyed having their company and help. We definitely plan on using Lion Home Service whenever we can!

    When we called Lion on 07/27/24 Saturday because our ** was not working the technician came and told us that we needed a new A/C unit and a new furnace. We decided to do the $18000 package. The install team showed up 2 days later and when they were done I noticed that our hot water was turned off I guess they turned the water heater off and forgot to turn it back on. I did turned it on myself but then the following day I noticed our carpet was wet I looked at the water heater it had a leak. It just a coincidence that after installing our new ** unit our water heater started leaking and our water heater was perfectly fine. We did call them again and the technician showed up and said we need a new water heater! WHAT!?!? We paid almost $20000 for the ** unit and they charged us $2500 for the new water heater! Its just strange to me that our water heater was perfectly fine then suddenly it was broken after the ** unit was installed, then the manger called us and said that the water heater was old and theres nothing they can do! Also they did not clean the drainage for the ** unit and they said they will send someone and we havent seen them yet. If our water heater started leaking a week later then we would definitely not complain about this but its just weird that it happened after the installation.

    Hello, yes unfortunate that your water heater also went out. The valve was cracked in the system itself. We are looking into why this was not looked at in the original discovery appointment. We did send a drain technician out yesterday to clean out your floor drain for free, since it was clogged and lead to the water not draining.

    Especially considering the extremely high cost of replacing my heating/ac unit, I'm very disappointed in both the quality of the work & the lack of customer ********************** followup. Lion installed a new heating/ac unit in my condo on June 11. After the crew left, I looked at ******* looked wrong to me. The hood looked like it was collapsing on itself, there was nowhere for a filter to go (so there wasn't one installed), there's a pipe blocking access to the former filter slot, plus the humidifier wasn't reconnected to the new unit. I called the sales rep & asked if he would come out to look at it; instead, he re-sent the same technician to "fix it". The technician returned on June 12 & did additional work to install the filter **************** the humidifier, but it's still wrong. The hood still looks like it's collapsing, there's 2" open gap where the filter sits plus there's a pipe in the way so the filter can't be accessed. I never heard back from the Lion sales rep to see if the work was acceptable. A City of ******************* building inspector finally came July 26; he said the unit wasn't installed correctly (citing the open gap & the inability to change the filter), so he said it failed the inspection. Now, I await Lion's response to the City's failure notice.

    ************************* installed a new garbage disposal and removed my very old rusted out unit. Not an easy job but done very professionally and included all of the follow up cleaning. Will definitely use Lion Home Service for any future service needs.Mil ******
