    We called to have out HVAC system serviced and the water heater. The project manager, *******************************, came out and told us what all needed to be done on the furnace. The estimate was $1054.10. The date was Dec. 19. 23. A service technician came out and did the work. When he was finished, we tested the furnace and it was running VERY loud. We told him that it had not run this loud before and he became defensive right away and said he did not change anything and would not investigate further. We called the office and they sent someone else out and he said everything looked ok. We had to wait for an installation manager to come out. He never showed up or called. We called again and they sent out an experienced tech who told us that the furnace was running too hot and it blew out all of the fire damper springs. That needed to be replaced. We were unable to use the system and had no heat for 2 days. At that point we called another company and they checked. The furnace was running high (158 degrees) . They replaced all the parts and fixed the problem. They found that the gas was set too high. The safety mechanism will come on at 160, that is what broke the system. I just called to let them know what is happening and wanted to talk to the owner. All they could offer that someone will call back within 48 hours.Very dissatisfied customer here!!! Minus stars if that would be possible!

    Our goal is to always have our clients be comfortable and safe in their homes. After the initial visit in December, customer called back in to advise of loud noise coming from the furnace. We returned to verify the unit was working correctly and there were no issues. At no point were we advised that the unit was not functioning or that they had no heat. When our install manager went to the home, he verified again that the unit was working to specifications and identified that the issue was with the fire dampers in the registers and that their housing authority needed to be notified for those repairs. The fire dampers are not something we work on therefore any work we did prior to this issue would be unrelated to the work we did.

    **** did an excellent job. I would give him 10 stars if I could. He was on time and very courteous. My husband is immune compromised so he kindly offered to mask. He also wore shoe covers. He performed a careful diagnosis of the problem and addressed it quickly. He cleaned everything up nicely.I will certainly use Lion Home Service in the future!

    My technician, ***************************** was beyond wonderful. We got chatting about working for Lion Home Service. It sounds like they are a fab company to work for. When I had my furnace and hot water tank installed a couple of years ago, those guys had the same thing to say about this company.

    In August **** installed an air conditioner. We have been concerned about a noise it makes. Started calling project manager 3 weeks ago, left three messages. Never returned phone call. Talked to him Monday and he said he would call back in a couple hours. That was 4 days ago and he never called. Called home office yesterday and I was put on standby service for today. No show, no call. I called them at 4:30 and was told I was still on schedule. Never heard from them. Between a furnace I bought a year and a half ago AND the air conditioner I have dropped ****** dollars and **** refuses to give me requested service. Horrible way to treat a customer.

    This issue was escalated to management, and on the day of your original visit to assess the unit, you spoke with the Install manager. There was indeed a miscommunication, which was addressed internally. The appt was moved to the next day, where you were notified of our dispatch, our tech arrived, and the issue was resolved. You have our sincere apologies for the lack of communication, and our promise that we strive to do better always in our communication, care and service to our clients.

    Would give negative stars if it was possible. These clowns came out to fix a slow/clogged kitchen drain. In the process they broke the drain pipe in a finished basement ceiling. After fixing the pipe they came out the same day and snaked it again and said they fixed it. 9 days later it was backing up again so i called them back being that there was a 67 day warranty. The guy shows up today and said since they were already out twice that the warranty didnt cover it. You would be better off lighting $300 on fire than have these bozos do anything at your house!!!!

    After review of the three visits, the first visit identified that there was an issue with a broken pipe after verifying there was no clog. Client opted to fix the pipe himself. He called us back out same day after pipe repair was done. No clog was detected a second time, the water was run and the disposal was run as well with no resulting leak or backup. 2 weeks later he called in again advising of an issue. Although third visit was not under warranty, no charges were applied and no money collected.

    Day 1: Friday July 28th we had ****** from Lion come to look at our Lennox AC unit that was not working. We paid $141.00 for the call. His diagnosis was that the compressor had failed and needed to be replaced. In addition, he said the system was leaking refrigerant. Neither of these items were specifically checked!! The cost of a new compressor was some $4300 but that it might not solve the problem, followed by a recommendation that the complete AC system be replaced. They could install a new system the next day (Saturday) for over $14000! Day 2: Saturday July 29 **** from *********** Air came to inspect the system. This company was the original seller/installer of the system. Based on my description of what was happening, **** thought that the capacitor in the outdoor unit was not working. This was the **** AND THE SYSTEM WAS ALSO FULLY CHARGED. A 15 minute fix - $475 weekend call ad parts.So, why was the Lion tech unable to diagnose a relatively simple problem? And why did he lie to me about the refrigerant leak?? WTH? We wasted money on the Lion call and were subjected to very aggressive attempts to upsell service agreements and other items as well. This also happened on a previous Lion service call. We subsequently learned that Lion techs are paid on commission thus the extreme pressure to buy their products. I will never call Lion again for any service. Im surprised that he didnt suggest that all of the house ductwork needed to be replaced!!I gave a one star rating because zero stars wasn't a choice

    After a review of the job notes, photos, and estimates provided, I see that a comprehensive diagnostic was performed and showing the compressor was pulling zero amps. A picture was taken of the instrument used to check and all photos should have been attached to the invoice received by the client after the visit. The client also received multiple estimates- 2 for replacement options as we are a permanent resolution company, 1 for a filter upgrade, and 1 for repairs to their Lennox system. Service agreements are offered as part of our system replacement due to their immediate value on the estimate and is never an aggressive sale. As far as the $141 fee for the visit, that is a $29 dispatch fee and a $112 diagnostic fee. The dispatch fee is explained during the initial phone call, with the explanation that any diagnostics or repairs would be discussed by the tech at the time of visit.

    ****** was very knowledgable and skilled in assessing the health of our sump pump. We will be calling Lion Home Service again as needs arise. Plus, he was a very personable, sincere, and nice young man.

    Initial work was done in a timely manner. However after replacing the sewer line the hound around the cleanouts was not compacted properly and now there is a sink hole around the cleanouts. I have called 4 times to try and get the issue resolved. Same result each time - they say someone will get in touch or be out to check things out but no one comes out or calls back. I would think twice about using this company - talks a good talk but no results.

    After the original work was completed, the customer advised us of settling of the ground. Although it is in the estimate and contract that we only rough backfill and are not responsible for landscaping, settling or any other groundwork, we did go back out and add dirt to the area since it was so soon after the work was done. **** has seen an unprecedented amount of rain which has caused issues for many homeowners, whether they have had work done or not. We have already advise the customer that we would return a second time to add additional dirt, however we have to work with our subcontractor and do not have control of their schedule. This has already been discussed with the customer and is still our plan to compete, but we cannot adjust the subcontractors schedule and must work within their availability.
