Horrible company to work with. We ordered coil overs front and back for our vehicle and only to receive an email a few days later stating that we had to pay and additional $400.00+ more to receive both front and back. The website clearly stated that they were a full set (front and back) and I even received a confirmation email with pictures! It took over a week to reach someone in the customer service department and I talked to the supervisor ***** and he stated that they did not have to stand behind their advertised prices and that in section 4 of the Terms and Services that they had to right to change prices at any time. He said I HAD to pay the additional funds otherwise they wouldn't complete the order or just send the front end. I am taking my business elsewhere, to a company who stands behind their adds and products and I would suggest anyone considering to purchase through Throtl, not to. Extremely poor customer service and bait and switch tactics.Wheel Pros, LLC

Hey ******,As mentioned on the phone, unfortunately, pricing discrepancies do happen. Our team reached out to you as soon as it was caught during processing, and even provided a discounted additional amount for the inconvenience. Those coilovers had recently been updated by the manufacturer to be offered as a front set only, or a full set. Unfortunately, the data was jumbled when it came to the price.This had been swiftly corrected.Per our policy, we do clarify in cases like this that an order may be cancelled if a customer no longer wishes to proceed. As we did.Your order was refunded in full.The definition of Bait and Switch would be as follows, "the action (generally illegal) of advertising goods which are an apparent bargain, with the intention of substituting inferior or more expensive goods."This would not apply in this scenario, as no "inferior" or more expensive goods were being SUBSTITUTED. A minor issue in pricing was updated correctly and handled via our policies. This is inaccurate in multiple areas;1. I only received an automated email as a follow up and it took me over a week to actually get in touch with someone. I was trying 1-3 times per day by phone and email with no reply, expect the automated emails.2. I was NEVER offered a discounted amount and was only told that I had to pay the additional $400+ to receive the advertised (and confirmed with pictures) items we had purchased. ***** also said if I didn't pay the additional amount that he was going to cancel my order. I asked repeatedly for Throtl to do what was right and to stand behind what they had advertised and ***** stated from the Throtl Terms and Services that they had the right to change prices at any time. Think twice about ordering from this company. I placed an order for a part that wasnt even in stock. Cancelled it the next day and they tried to charge me a 5% cancellation fee on my $1300 order. Call your credit card company if they try to do this to you!Wheel Pros, LLC

When a customer changes their mind on preorder or special order items, we deduct the processing fees incurred from even accepting payment. These are non-reimbursable per your bank and we pass them on as you no longer want the order. Incredible prices, with equally incredible shipping delays. No one answers the phones. Guess they are too busy with the ******* channel. The want you to pay a 5% "cancellation fee" - even if your ship date is pushed months into the future. Below is my conversation with THROTL regarding an order made in November, and now set to ship in (maybe) mid-January. Be warned.THROTL: "...what you are referring to is the cancellation fee which would apply to any items of those statuses regardless of delays, as stated on our site that we are not held liable to slipping lead times by the manufacturer.""OK, so will I be charged a 5% cancellation fee?"THROTL: "If any of the items you ordered fit that criteria then yes that policy would apply""Is Throtl familiar with 16 CFR Part 435? That policy is a clear violation of federal law. You cannot charge a consumer for a product or service not delivered within a reasonable timeframe."THROTL: "That wouldn't apply here. If you believe there may be a legal issue within our policies you are more than welcome to forward the policies to an attorney who can contact our attorney as needed."Wheel Pros, LLC

Hey ****! Happy to help clarify.In this case, the item you purchased was stated as PREORDER. PRIOR to purchasing. It is clear in bold on the product page so that a customer can make a decision on if they would like to get that part on order.In cases of preorder/special order items, these are typically sent over to the manufacturer for PRODUCTION, to be manufactured for you. You would be securing your spot to have this ship as soon as physically possible. We push a 5% cancellation fee to cover processing if the end-user changes their mind about receiving this item.The FTC article you have referenced typically refers to IN-STOCK items, that cannot be delivered in a reasonable timeframe, or if there is no mention of stocking status. When I purchased my items they were labeled as "Ships Directly from Manufacturer". After Black Friday, these items (and most certainly many others in an attempt for throtl to grab a larger share of the *******************) switched to "PREORDER". You can't retroactively apply your policies to my order in your quest to skirt federal law on consumer protections.Here's the email you sent me a few days after my order, stating exactly the situation:============================Dec 1, 2022, 10:09 AM A Portion of Your Order Needs to Come from the ManufacturerInbox Hello **** ,We were just informed by our warehouse that at least one item in your order needs to come direct from the manufacturer. This may cause delays, but we will be sure to keep you updated when the manufacturer notifies us of the ship *********************** viamg.xeonapp.com============================You also sent estimated shipping dates (missed) multiple times. Tell me what about any of this, entitles your company to keep a portion of my money if I request a refund for products not delivered in a timely fashion? Again, you are violating federal law 16 CFR Part 435.============================Complying With The Rule By law, you must have a reasonable basis for stating that a product can be shipped within a certain time. If your advertising doesn't clearly and prominently state the shipment period, you must have a reasonable basis for believing that you can ship within 30 days.If you can't ship within the promised time (or within 30 days if you made no promise), you must notify the customer of the delay, provide a revised shipment date and explain his right to cancel and get a full and prompt refund.============================Given the multiple emails you have sent with shipping dates (and the latest one estimating a mid-January ship date) you are most definitely violating commerce laws by attempting to charge consumers for products you cannot deliver in a reasonable time frame.Review fromThomas M.

Zero accountability. To be clear I did try to contact ******* via phone and I was given the option to leave a voicemail. That is not "live phone support" in my opinion. Also, you failed to mention the first main delay which was an error in your inventory that allowed me to order wheels that were listed as in stock but were not. This delay was from my order date of Oct. 13 and finally resolved on Nov. 8. I was never notified of the item being out of stock and had to email the support team to learn that my wheels would not be delivered in an acceptable timeframe. Since were airing it out, I think it was shady for your customer service representative to offer a discount and then an apply the same discount as my first order for my replacement. 4 starsCan't leave 5 stars because my order for bushings came in with missing parts and another piece that was warped and could not be used. Not sure if it was Throtl or the manufacturer. After requesting a return Throtl instead contacted the manufacturer and had them ship the missing parts. I'm satisfied with the resolution and would shop again for the price.Review fromEtel L

You can not get ahold of anyone. There website description and ****** are incorrect for there products, I tried bringing it to there attention and they are not helpful and ******* rude. Generally dissatisfied with my experience. The lack of communication definitely gives off shady vibes like mentioned in previous reviews/complaints.I have had to instigate conversation in order to get update on the shipping delays. Their generic responses give no real insight as to what to expect.I have reached out to them with a request to cancel my order and have not received a relevant response.Other buyers can expect unreasonable shipping times and limited communication. 1 starThrotl is the most crooked company I have dealt with in over 35 years of business! I have been an automobile buyer for over 35 years. I recondition the cars that I buy before shipping them to their dealers. Last month I accidentally purchased some wheel flares from Throtl! After clicking on their product I realized that they were only selling 2 of the 4 flares that I needed.. I couldn't believe they put their ad in with the rest of the companies with just 2 of the 4 flares. I now realize that I they did this to make their ad look like a better deal than it actually was.As soon as i realized that they were only offering 2 of the 4 flares, I emailed them immediately to stop my order.. It was probably less than 5 mins. I sent them 3 total *********** took over 3 days for them to get back with me. Then, of course, they said that they had already processed the ************ it out. I, then, asked them to tell me how to return the ************ said they would get back to me. After 10 days, they sent me return information. When I received their product, I opened the box to just make sure that is was only 2 wheel flares.. When it was, I taped up the box and took it to ***** to return.When I got to *****, I almost passed out to learn it was going to cost me over $100 in return postage for an item that I bought for $271. I bit the bullet & still sent it back. I just found out today that ****** received my package in the orginal box, like new and only credited me $188 of the $271 I paid them! OMG!!Not only did they charge me $271 for 2 flares when I ended up only spending $250 for all 4 of the exact same flares from another company, they refunded me $188 after I spent over $100 in return postage, all after trying to cancel my order 5 mins after purchasing them!THEY ARE FLAT OUT CROOKS!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! IF YOU THINK THEY ARE OFFERING A GOOD DEAL, SPEND 5 MORE MINS SHOPPING, SOMEONE ELSE WILL BE BETTER!1 STAR ONLY BECAUSE I COULDN'T ZERO!Review fromEdward I

A little bummed to read the reviews below. I can only hope that with my recent experience, ****** is trying to change their ways. I purchased a Diverter Valve through them back at beginning of the year. Valve was a high-priced piece from a supposedly "reputable" long-time turbo accessory manufacturer.I finally got the thing installed a few weeks ago, as I start my tune, only to find that it leaks and won't let the turbo build boost. Literally multiple emails and phone calls directly to manufacturer, including a few to *********, resulting in not one single response. Last ditch effort drove me back to the Vendor, in this case, ******. I was greeted by an immediate response letting me know someone would be in touch shortly, and that was certainly the case, as ***** checked in immediately after and was especially supportive of my need and frustrations.He contacted the manufacturer through his vendor channel and was not only able to get me advice, but also an RMA# to return the part for inspection and repair.Nice. Work. Bummed for the folks in previous reviews, because I certainly know how that goes with many of these Aftermarket guys; but after this positive experience, I can only hope ****** is changing their tune, and pushing to be a quality supplier, interested in client needs and goals.Wheel Pros, LLC
