I probably would have saved a year of monthly payment after they refused to honor repairs or replace my AC unit after it stopped working in 2021. The service tech recommended a replacement due to continuous Freon leaks and that compressor was down due to a possible thunder strike. Anyway they refused to approve the repairs due what they said was a corroded coil from condensation. Additionally they dont warranty compressor due to thunder strike. Cost me $3300 out of pocket to repairs. Just recently, January 2023 I noticed a leak on my ceiling and called a plumbing company to investigate the source of the leak. The plumbing company had to cut thru the ceiling Sheetrock and second level wall to get access to the source of the leak. It was a vent pipe leak coming from the artic area. After more a week of back and forth with Armis to get approval they finally gave okay to repair the leak. However they refused to pay for the cost to get access back to the way it was. The contract states on page #8 under Notes that they will cover I quote we will provide coverage for access to plumbing only through unobstructed walls, ceiling, or floors, and will return access openings to a rough finish. I guess Im supposed to leave holes on my ceiling and the wall that was cut by the plumber to find out the source and area of the leak. They denied the repairs and it cost me $400. Their agents find a way to refuse to pay for repairs that the contracts specifically covers. I should have learned from my experience in 2021 on my AC and cancelled the warranty at that time. Completely rip off company.

I would have left 0 stars if this was possible. Armis is absolutely horrible! When I was sold on my home warranty I was told that they had a network of prescreened, licensed technicians. They claimed that when something when wrong, it would be hassle free with a cap of $65 out of pocket for a claim. This was such a lie. They don't have a network of technicians that they work with and they were unable to find anyone to come repair. They seem to have trouble finding repairmen who are willing to deal with warranty companies because of the hassle and run around. When dealing with a claim, they make you jump through so many hoops and you never get to speak to the same customer service rep, so you are constantly wasting time on the phone re-hashing the issue. Since they weren't able to find someone to fix my fridge, I had no choice but to buy a new fridge and they were only willing to cover a small fraction of the cost. They claimed that they were willing to cover the amount to repair the fridge, but they weren't able to find anyone to do the work. Don't waste your $59 a month for a warranty. Put it in savings and use that money when your appliances break. Dealing with Armis has been the biggest headache ever. I see why repair companies don't want to deal with Armis. They give you the run around, but that is by design.

I have been paying $59.00 per month for almost 2 years and never filed a claim until now. The coil in my a/c system needs replacing because of coolant leak and they refused to take care of the replacement because of "rust". Copper and galvanized dose NOT rust. I feel this is a cop out. I wish I had NEVER bought this warranty! What a waste of time and money. I had to pay the $169.00 service fee to the a/c company just because of all the hoops that Armis made us jump through just to be denied service.I'm just going to replace the entire system myself..

Armis examined your claim based on the review you have provided. The results of this investigation indicate that the supporting documents required by your ************ Contract are insufficient or have not been submitted as requested. Armis covered the part of the claim that had a verified cause of failure, but the rest of the claim was not eligible for coverage under the terms of the Contract without further pictures of the leaking metal component.
