1 starFirst, their plumber didn't listen when I wanted shower lower than he put it. Both my husband and I told him I use a shower chair only, but he decided to put the shower head so high I can't reach it.Second, the odor from the epoxy or sealant got under the sheet panel of our sink and brought that all up so now we have to get a new sink.Lastly, the initial presentation didn't accurately depict the size of the showerhead. It's as big as an 8x10 sheet of paper! Looks like a spaceship landed in our shower. She didn't have a sample to show us...nothing.Review fromLaura S

1 starWe hired Renew Home Innovations in 2020 to redo our master bathroom. Given COVID, everything was slow, and though we were originally told it would be done in July, it was November before complete. Recently, the downstairs ceiling under the tub began to crumble and leak. The owners of Renew eventually agreed to send a plumber out to look at it after arguing the 1 year warranty had expired so it was not their responsibility anymore. We learned there is a bleed valve in our ceiling that was not put in to code, and it has had a slow leak for quite a long time. The owners of Renew admitted that they should have put in an access door if they were going to hide a bleed valve in the ceiling during installation. The plumber they sent was very nice but because no access door had to cut a larger hole in the ceiling to inspect the leak, and left saying he needed to show photos to the owners to discuss repairs. He must have taken the cut out ceiling piece too, as is in now gone. They offered to fix at cost, with no write up, given it is out of warranty, and I asked them to send me the estimate, but advised I was also going to see if there was any poor workmanship in installing the same and they then refused to even give me a quote. Ive asked that they return the ceiling piece removed but they said they do not have it. They now say the tub, that has been used 3 times in 4 1/2 years because it is too short to sit in, has a bad drain, but it is not under warranty anymore. Of note, they use American Standard, which from my experience is a terrible product and I would not recommend anyone to install the same! We already had to replace a piece in the shower head, twice, and now the tub drain. Good grief. Long story short, if you want a product that lasts, quality work, and a company that cares about its customers over the long haul, do not hire **********************. It looks pretty but the work is poor and does not last. Save the headache! Hire someone else.Review fromRicke C

5 starsWe now have a beautiful new shower. ****** was great at helping us plan the project. She made the process enjoyable. ***** is an excellent installer. He made sure that we were getting what we wanted and pointed out alternatives just to make sure. When he encountered "inconveniences", he found solutions that were as good or better than the obvious approach. It was a pleasure to work with him.Review fromChristine H

DO NOT hire this company. We signed a contract with this company for a master bath remodel and some changes to our kitchen. Our final cost came in at over double! This is a family company and they all toe the line. We saw our Project Manager, ******, a few times during the process. Our kitchen island was supposed to be 68x48. They ordered the wrong size and they wanted me to agree to just putting a filler between. Said nobody would notice. I WOULD NOTICE. We had to pay to get the correct size. Their customer service is terrible and really rude. The owner actually called my husband and asked for our final payment before the project was complete. Said he needed it to pay his workers. Really? Obviously, we didnt give him the money. Their craftsmanship is horrid. You have to fight tooth and nail to get anything redone. My husband is till having to fix the issues they left us with. Thats what we got for $50,000. Our initial bid was $22,000. They even took our microwave. We asked to get it back and they said they used it already. ********************. If you want a remodel and you love your home, find another company. Im not sure how this company has the positive reviews it does because they should be put our of business.ReNew Home Innovations

Please allow me to offer some clarity regarding the ****** project. ********* ****** was a very difficult customer to work with. This project dragged on for months due to ********* ******** constant change to the project. ********* ****** had multiple surgeries that effected and prolonged her project timeline. Our company literally has (6) signed "change orders in addition to her original signed contract based on the customer's uncertainty of her own decisions. We have over (60) points of communication on record where our staff has contacted both ********* and ***** ******; not including all the cellphone communication. I would also like to assert that when ********* ****** wasn't screaming at her husband ***** ******, she was screaming at my entire staff from the very beginning of her project. As an aside, both ********* and her husband ***** had shared to us that she had a major injury and was taking huge amounts of drugs which causing mood swings to be so ugly and hateful. At multiple points ********* ****** had apologized to myself and other members of my staff for her constant outbursts; all of which were on recorded lines. ********* ****** had ordered an island for her kitchen and signed off on the estimate, the drawings and on every item including with pictures. ********* ****** also had made multiple changes several times. When the kitchen cabinets had arrived to be installed, she blew up again towards our installers. Once again ********* ****** did not like her own decisions and demanded that the owner come to her home personally. I had then made a trip down to the Harlans home and ********* was very personable at that time, like a completely different person. During this visit ***** ****** had told me privately that ********* is never happy with anything. Afterwards the Harlans and myself spent the next (3) hours redesigning their kitchen island all over again. During this conversation, we all had discussed about their current hanging microwave and that we would be removing and disposing of their old one. I had asked directly to ***** ****** what he wanted to do with their current microwave; ***** stated that he didn't want it and to throw it away, which is what we did. It was put in the dumpster in front of their house, I have no idea where it went.
The reason we were asserting to make payment was because the homeowner had ordered the wrong hood that forced the job to stop until they ordered a correct one. They also had checks bounce which caused us to pay insufficient funds fees. So what we asserted was that we needed a "certified check" due to the Harlans writing bad checks for payments due. The job was finally completed a month later when their new hood arrived. We did a final walk on the entire project with the customers. The ******* had signed a "satisfactory completion form yet ******** ****** still refused to make their final payment. ********* ****** had claimed that she didn't have her checkbook and stated to me that we would need to come back later that day. After an hour later, ********* ****** had left a check on the door however she did NOT pay the full amount due as she decided to withhold funds. Though ********* ****** had claimed that she was satisfied with their completed job project, to this date ********* and ***** ****** still owe money due for their project. Note, their project was completed six months ago, and not once has either ********* nor ***** ****** has ever contacted our company for any work warranty issues.ReNew Home Innovations

5 stars****** of Renew Home Innovations responded to my request for a quote for bath/shower remodel. He arrived at my home exactly at the time I requested. He was helpful and showed me samples and/or pictures of various optional items. Since then, I talked with ****** (of Home Innovations) by phone about some questions that came to mind. She was also friendly and helpful. The parts for my project are now on order and I am looking forward to the installation process.Review fromDaniel B
