    I'm a new customer and after having this warranty for 5 months I finally needed to use it and of course they let me down. My refrigerator stop cooling so I called them to have someone come take a look at it. That all by itself was a challenge. I had to keep calling to see if anyone was going to come out. Once they contractor came out he said the service call was more than what Homesafe said it would be, but with my aggressiveness about not paying anymore than what my contract said, the contractor took that amount. Anyway, back to Homesafe....once they got all the information and pictures they needed they denied my claim because they said they seen rust. The wire is copper not *****...NO RUST!! This was my very first claim and it was denied for something that isn't so. This is just a refrigerator, what if it had been something bigger like a furnace or water heater. I'm glad I found out with just a refrigerator. Thank goodness I didn't drop my home warranty I had before picking this one up. I will NEVER recommend this home warranty to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I know a lot of people think home warranties aren't worth the money and for the most part that is true, but this company is a total ripoff.I also want to mention, every time I called to cancel they begged me to stay saying "give us a chance to fix this" or "let me looking into your claim a little more" just trying to pacify me (probably until my next payment was due to come out of my checking account) with the same results of still denying my claim. My recommendations is don't pick up this home warranty. They don't want to pay for anything!!They don't deserve any stars.

While HomeSafe is the marketer, Armis is the administrator and has FULL authority over repair procedures, approvals, denials and payments. We have reviewed Armis's claim notes and found the following:The service provider sent pictures and concluded that there was a Freon leak near the compressor. The compressor shows heavy corrosion - a large amount of the pipe is green and rusted in other spots - this caused the Freon to leak. Rust and corrosion are excluded from the policy (Section A.3.b). The customer was mailed and emailed a policy. The policy has been canceled as requested by the customer.Kind regards,Client Relations
