I just paid to watch ESPN for Wimbledon coverage. The first hour and a half has been all commercials and the commentators in the booth. Why doesn't the network let us watch tennis? Did I just pay to listen to people talk about London and the grass courts?
      I paid to watch TENNIS!

I downloaded ESPN bet and deposited money and later was told I couldn’t bet because of my state. Now I can’t withdraw that money and the company is making me jump through hoops to get it back. My money has been on there for months and all I get are computer generated responses. When I spoke to someone she said to deposit more to withdraw with another card now more money is tied up and nothing can be withdrawn. I’m tired of their games and want help recovering my money.

      See Suzu M's review below.
ESPN advertises and directs viewers to sign up and pay for their ESPN+ app to have full access to their content, when in reality it is a limited service. The only way to have full access is to have a cable provider. They do not reveal this until after you have signed up and paid for their limited service. This is textbook bait-and-switch.

This company is dog ***** They force you to pay for their plus app all year for hockey, now it's only on regular espn, which you need ANOTHER PROVIDER FOR. I'm done. I watched 14 people in my house cancel their plus service, and I hope even more do. I'll be posting on every social media post from this garbage company until I'm blocked.

If you want to watch particular sports cometitions or games on the ESPN without a cable TV, it is most likely to search for a month (or two)-subscrition directly from the ESPN.
From the main ESPN website, when you click "Watch," it directs you to subscribe the ESPN+. The page neither shows available channes nor explains the ESPN+ does not include any ESPN channels. It is a scam.
Furthermore, there is no customer service. It directs you to FAQs. It is totally unethical because the ESPN is targeting working class sports fans like me who watch sports beyond local TV broadcasts but cannot subscribe to a pricy cable TV plaform.

ESPN Bet pulled a bait and switch on me and I’m assuming a bunch of other potential customers by offering a $200 promo, then taking unreasonably long to “verify my identity” until the promo expired. Now they are offering half that amount and after multiple emails with their “customer service” team are unwilling to honor the $200 promo that was available when I first signed up.
For context, I’ve used several other betting apps/sites that took no more than 30 minutes to do what took ESPN Bet almost 2 months. It seems like they got more people than they could handle signing up for the $200 promo so as a way to cut their loses decided to hold off on verifying a bunch of people until that offer expired and then cut that promo in half. Class act ESPN, I’m sure I’m not the only customer y’all lost with this shady business practice

I signed up for a ESPN Plus membership on November 14th, 2023 quite honestly to watch Taylor Swift attend the Kansas City Chiefs games and to watch Travis Kelce. However, quickly after I realized I could not watch her so I cancelled my membership the same day. So, I went through my ***** ****** App Store to cancel my ESPN Plus membership and to request a refund.
Fast forward to the 20th/21st ish I receive my refund and all is well.
Then, on December 14, 2023 I receive a random Discover transaction of $10.99 from ESPN PLUS
So, I call ESPN and they can’t locate my email or my card number transaction in their system.
2 people and 2 hours later they tell me ***** is the reason I was charged.
I then called ***** and they realize that since the transaction says ESPN and my subscriptions are 100% cancelled it was not them.
I then call ESPN back and repeat the process.
The people were so helpful. This entire thing is just so strange.
      I guess I can’t get a refund?
      6 people and 4 hours later…
so, basically I have a lifetime ESPN+ membership.
I just wanted to watch Taylor :(
