This is arguably the worst media company in TV history. They have around 6-8 analysts who appear on NBA shows every day, where almost everyone has been on the same team. Perkins, RJ, TT—how on earth can you have an unbiased discussion with such a group? They publish good narratives against the players they played with and bad narratives against their opponents. Every time when the game is on ESPN and with such a crew, I just mute my TV. We are in a world where equities matter, but clearly, ESPN doesn’t care and keeps manipulating the media to prop up the players they like. What a shame.

1 hr 18 minutes to troubleshoot why my subscription is pending. I was advised to create a new email address. That was the solution offered. I was told a supervisor would call in 30 minutes, only to find out 15 minutes later the representative hadn’t put in the request yet.
There is no way to get a confirmation number or reference number to follow up. No accountability for lack of service. Highly dissatisfied. Would not recommend this company or product. Please avoid.

ESPN+ agent Louisa admitted to me at 12:15pm EST on 9/9/23 that ESPN does not have contractual obligations to link a cable provider to allow you to watch shows and games that are viewable on cable. They simply make linking a cable provider required because they hope you'll choose ***** She told me this straight up. ESPN+ is a bait and switch scam. You get almost nothing for your $10 unless you also pay for cable and they want that cable to be *****

ESPN fails as a media company.
I ordered a month of ESPN+ service to watch US open tennis without buying costly Fubo or Disney bundles . ESPN + ESPN2 show premium matches while ESPN+ only airs junior, doubles + mixed doubles matches, so if you don't have kids or family playing at the US open, this is probably not going to have much value. ESPN keeps your $10 and keeps it's lousy ESPN+ programming a secret.
They somehow process your payment through a SECONDARY ****** pay process and won't direct you to the recurring payment cancellation link unless you "verify your identity" by telling them you paid through google, even if you paid with a card or ******. CRAZY ! They will do anything to make it difficult for you to cancel. If you try to cancel online, you are directed to the google ESPN app. If you open the app, it directs you to cancel online.
You have to call and mention google as a payment method.
I hope an enterprising lawyer starts another class action suit against ESPN for all ESPN+ subscribers who received no value, and a lot of cancellation frustration, for their non refundable purchase. A 4.2 out of 5 rating is far too generous for this company. Courts need to clean up their act for them. This company should have had their license suspended or revoked, long ago.

I have unfortunately using the ESPN fantasy sports apps for too long. Recently, their sites glitched and had error that messed with the setting. I contacted support and they informed there was nothing that they could do and stated that I am league mates should start the league from scratch. Despite the site's glitches, they wanted us to spend hours fixing their mistakes and were proudly rude about the entire situation.

I have been trying for a while to cancel espn plus and you cannot do it. This should be illegal. They make it impossible to cancel. Not even kidding, I log in on the website go through the 8 tabs needed to get to cancel subscription only to have it say that I cannot cancel here and that I need to go to the app to cancel. I open up my phone, go to the app, go through the 8 tabs needed to finally get to cancel subscription and I AM NOT KIDDING WITH YOU when it says- "Cannot cancel, must use the website." I MEAN..... WHAT?!? Then, I go through all the tabs to get to the live chat function, and the person I start chatting with cannot cancel the subscription. I mean.... what is that. I knew espn was a shady company and they are into all the corrupt woke stuff but jeez, they are just straight up stealing people's money.

The advertised process to cancel your subscription does not work, so you will have to waste your time trying to chat with an agent to cancel your subscription. I moderately enjoyed the subscription while I had it, but when trying to cancel my subscription, I found that ESPN is making it as difficult as possible to cancel. I paid for this service for a long time and to find ESPN engaging in such unethical practices to keep taking my money has left me wanting to get my sports information from other sources.
From searching for a resolution, I found that many others have been encountering the same frustration when trying to cancel ESPN+ for some time now. This is clearly a tactic by ESPN to prevent people from cancelling and should be investigated.

I tried to sign up online for a one-month subscription to ESPN plus for $9.99 to watch Wimbledon tennis. Even though I selected the one-month offer, I was signed up for one year and my credit card was charged $99.99. I had to go to a lot of trouble and aggravation to get this reversed. Once it was resolved I tried again through a phone conversation with an agent, who walked me through the online process. AGAIN, I was signed up for one year even though I selected the one-month offer. This is clearly fraudulent. I was then disconnected from this agent and had to call again and go through the whole process with another agent to get the credit card charges reversed a second time. BEWARE!.

We had the same experience as many. We tried to cancel our subscription. We went through the instructions as were listed, and as one man said it only gave you the option to upgrade. I called the number and was on hold for over an hour with three different people in between. Finally I got a hold of someone who said they were going to cancel the subscription and sorry I had so much trouble. I went ahead and called the credit card company and put a block on that monthly payment. They are all about getting your money, but not about customer service. I would not recommend this company to anybody.
