Absolute crooks that give you the run around when you start showing transactions showed on bank statements. Will literally lie in your face and say its one thing and when you check your charges over 100$ when the monthly is only 20$! Wish I never joined!

This is the worst gym!! I went for a few months, filthy, old equipment and amenities always out of order.
I have been trying to cancel my membership for 3 months and they assured me it was cancelled. Presented documentation and still trying to gauge me for fees??. Stay away unless you want a major headache.

Unacceptable business! They refuse to cancel memberships and charge you for months even after you cancel. The manager is rude and unprofessional. I’ve been cancelling my membership for 9 days now! One email says my membership is up in February, the other says in march. I’ve been charged for two months and the annual de. I signed up and was only there 5 days before trying to cancel because I didn’t like it. $100 for being a member for 5 days. Still my account says active and there isn’t an option to remove your credit card. They have my info and can charge whenever

I was charged twice 117 for the same item. Had I not checked my bank account statement I wouldn’t have known. Ok so I called and they said they would reverse the second charge but the first one would stay. I then wanted to know why I was charged so much for not paying one month. I was told I was charged for one month, the annual fee and two late fees. All one month same service. In the contract says a fee can be charged on a late payment after 3 days not a fee every 3 days it’s late. Went over the bill with Sarah Ma**** and asked where was we told the fee amount and she’s like it’s club rules. Club rules but was member mentioned. Yes I get there’s late fees but nothing states how much in fhe contract nor do they tell you that when signing up.

I went into crunch fitness on ********* *** ********* ***  I signed up on that day and signed for 2 30 minute training sessions, this was the day before Thanksgiving. I went into crunch fitness the the day after thanksgiving and used the machines, then that weekend I went online to crunch and cancelled the training sessions because I couldn’t afford it. To make sure my request was received I went into crunch fitness and told the gentleman the desk to cancel,?they gave me the phone number to the trainer and told me to text him and he would get back to me, he never responded. I used the machines that day and when I asked the gentleman at the desk if there was someone who would help me with the machines he told me the instructions were on the side. At that time I decided I didn’t believe that crunch was for me and I called and spoke to Wendy to cancel, she said she would send a message to corporate and it was indeed canceled BUT now she says I owe 26.99 because I didn’t cancel within 30 days of billing. When I joined I asked about their cancellation policy and was told I would NOT be billed as long as it was before the billing date. I canceled 3 days after joining. So to people wanting to join buyer beware this is just not right. She has stopped communicating with me.

Avoid this gym at all costs. They ignored my request to cancel my membership via mail (moved out of state, with proof of new address, which they told me was all I needed), but still sent a debt collector to harass me months after the fact. I would have disputed the charge with the collection agency, but I'm more interesting in saving my time and not risking a credit score hit, which is probably what Crunch was hoping for from the start.

Since November 2022 I have been paying crunch fitness 44.60 a month for a family plan up until June 3 2024, when I got charged 112.85. At the time I was under the impression that the high charge was possibly do to the yearly fee. On July 1 I got charged 112.85 again. At this point I drove to the gym to figure out why I was charged such a high amount. When I spoke to the manager on duty, I was told that he knew why I was there and that multiple members had come in to discuss similar problems. I was told by the manager that corporate did not notify the staff about the family plan changes and also did not notify their members that their was no longer going to honor the family plan and instead removed the plan and all members attached to the it would be charged individually the premium membership, which adds up. I had 4 family members including myself which were charged to my card on file $30 each. I explained the situation to my family members and returned back to the gym. At that time the manager on duty Will assisted me in my situation. Will explained that corporate is denying any requests for refunds and the best he could do is cancel the membership, reopen a new one at the basic cost of $10 and wave the yearly fee. My family members agreed and we proceeded to cancel the memberships and reopen new ones. Before we signed any contracts I made a point to specify to Will that if at any point I decided to cancel the membership for any reason if there would be any fees or contractual obligations. Will answered with no. Again I asked if we decide to cancel tomorrow will there be an issue and Will answered no you can cancel at any point. On September 3 I had a charge for 223.89 in club fees. I went to the gym to speak to manager. Will looked into the account and noticed he forgot to wave the yearly fee. On September 19 another charge for 149.26 was made. When I tried to cancel membership i'm told I cant without paying 100+ per account. This gym is a joke and a scam.

I have tried to cancel my membership for 3 months. The first 2 calls they said it would be cancelled but I was still getting charged. Another charge showed up today and now they are saying they cannot find my membership to cancel even though a charge is processing through my bank today. Customer service is horrible and absolutely worthless. They fraudulently are making money this way. Now I have to go to my bank and dispute the charges and get a new bank card. Why can they just not do the right thing. They are a big scam and everyone should be aware.

It looks like this is a new profile for the Crunch Fitness located at ************************************************************************************************* Doesn't matter because they're still doing bad business. They have made 11 unauthorized withdrawals from my bank account since November 2023.I paid for an annual membership upfront, and was informed of annual fee that would be charged the following month. However, each month I was also charged a convenience fee that I was never informed about. When I mentioned it to staff in person, they mentioned that the convenience fee was something they charge to members who pay on a monthly basis, and this shouldn't have been charged to me at all. Each time I spoke to someone in person I was told that the manager was aware, they would resolve it, and I would be reimbursed, but nothing ever happened.I've also sent emails detailing each time I tried to contact them and still didn't get a response. Also, I use an email tracker, called Streak, which tells me each time the emails were viewed, and they still never responded.*To anyone reading this, please check your bank account to make sure you're not also being charged this fee. If you are, then this means they are doing this to all of their members which would result in thousands of dollars each month in unauthorized charges for Crunch. It would be great to do a class action lawsuit against them if this is the case.*
