      Long term disability - once you are no longer with the company that you worked for Hartford locks you out of the portal, even though you still have to submit paperwork and they will continue to pay the claim. From that point on you have to call for EVERYTHING. Was told it's because the company that hired them pays for portal access. I would think it would be more cost effective for Hartford to give portal access than to pay their reps to take all those phone calls. It's very frustrating to have to wait on a rep to call me to let me know if claim extension has been approved or denied or they need additional info. I was able to see all that on the portal before access was cut off. I have also been bounced around, being constantly assigned to new reps, all of which seem to do things a little bit different. Over-all not a great experience lately.

      This is regarding police 76WBGAD2KBF. I have emailed and called multiple times to complain that Harford's billing is incorrect for Year 2022-2023. However, they do not provide the documentation that I have requested to backup the amount they are charging. They charged us for locations where we had no employees. I have a feeling they mixed our policy up with some other companies. After multiple times requesting for a reaudit, they said we are owed a credit of $853. However, on the billing they are charging us $2139 and then deducting the $853. It makes no sense. If the audit shows that we overpaid for the year. Why are you charging us for the same year a higher amount and then deducting the credit. They have the worse audit department.

      In regards to paid family leave and STD- the adjusters don't listen, or know their own bylaws and pass the buck. They do not make timely call backs, I've called 3-5 days per week for 10 weeks for an issue that started week 1 of paid family leave. Today I am told since I only have a few weeks less to accept it.
      In regards to the short term disability I accessed, my claims adjuster called day 3 after surgery to advise me my return to work date was 2 weeks after surgery (a c section) and so they would not be paying me since there is a 2 week wait. She tried to tell me that is what the doctor put on my forms and I had the forms in hand stating otherwise.
      Both times I was talked over and the same line repeated only to end the conversation with something a long line of "I'm sorry you don't understand how things work" even when their own words are complete opposite of their own paperwork!

      This company is contracted by my job for my workers compensation for a work injury in May 2023. I received workers comp for a month and was able to return to work on light duty. My agent Brenna Medlin had everything set up to just receive compensation for a month. Currently, I am still receiving bills from Care Now for this work-related injury. I was told by Brenna M***** that she would take care of this matter and she has yet to do it. I have contacted her supervisor, Kari B, and left her several voicemails that included my name, DOB, & claim number and she has yet to call back for a follow up. There is a debt agency trying to collect money from me that this company was suppose to handle. I will be reporting this to the hospital that I work for as well and hopefully there can be another company to use for workers compensation claims.

      I am currently on LTD and I wasn't satisfied about the treatment I was receiving from multiple analyst. I complained to my employer about the treatment and ever since then they have been retaliating against me with this claim. I also feel because I'm African American plus a woman they're feeling like I am lying. They keep lying about paper and some might be even discarding it.

      Hartford auto insurance member of AARP Harford denied me last year and again two weeks ago third-party Nexis stated I have no accidents, points on my license still being denied WHY 56 years old no points no accidents.
      WHY ARE THEY STILL DENYING ME HAVE A MAILING ADDRESS AND PHSICAL ADDRESS WHAT IS THE PROBLEM ******** ****** *** ******

      I have The Hartford Short and long term disability insurance through my employer. I’ve been dealing with this company since January. First let me say that if I could give zero stars I would. They have made my doctors offices myself and my employer to jump through so many hoops it’s ridiculous. Constantly asking for documents and never actually reading or updating the website that’s down more than up and running. I’ve called at least three times a week and sometimes more than once daily. I’ve had to add my mother to the account just so I don’t feel like I’m crazy and to confirm my issues with them. I’ve reported them to my employer and told them to never have The Hartford coverage again because they aren’t for your employees. My doctor actually said he’s had to deal with them before for the same reason. I can’t for the life of me understand how they are allowed to even operate. Horrible company and horrible customer service. Ive reported them to the BBB and I’ve contacted a lawyer at this point because I’m exhausted dealing with them. I’ve resorted to recording my conversations and I let them know every time I call. Not only does the customer service suck but 9 out of 10 times your speaking with someone who’s first language isn’t English and it’s impossible to understand them. If by any chance someone who has reported this same thing and has a lawsuit against them I encourage them to reach out to me and others like me with the same issues. This company is worth 24+ billion dollars and guess who’s paying them to D### us around. You guessed it. Consumers!

      I recently received a bill from The Hartford for my home and auto insurance that I found to be excessive. I requested a price quote from ***** **** Insurance that was less than 1/2 of The Hartford’s billing for better insurance coverage! I originally went with The Hartford as they were recommended by AARP so now I am very disappointed in that organization as well.

      Got a letter indicating i had requested health insurance, but i hadnt. Called and it was a scam to get me to take a 'free' medical device. Very poor scam

      Poor management running The Hartford Insurance Co. of the ********** as indicated by poor communication and improper handling of my insurance payment sent to ******* I wrote a check on the 30 of September 2023, mailed the check to ****** on 04 October 2023 to pay my 6 month insurance fee which was due on 09 October 2023. Realizing that I had not gotten my bill for the next 6-month period in March for the period of 10-April 2024 to 09-October 2024, I called Phone number ********************* to ask about not receiving my bill..
      They told me that they received the check and deposited it on 02-November and this exceeded Hartford policy leading to cancellation of my policy, with no option to get it renewed. Obviously the Dallas office at PO Box 650118 misplaced the check for about 3 weeks.
      Bottom Line Summary comment:
      Hartford policies and management of these policies is leading me to look for ways to get a condemning review submitted for public viewing.
