    This is my issue with Spartan-Stone Monuments. I saw the news report and I sent an email to the office on March 21, 2025. I haven't heard anything back concerning my problem. I too am a victim of the owner, Eric R********. I'm asking for your help with resolving my problem with them. I purchased a headstone that had a considerable number of flaws on it. I've been back to them several times on it, they assured me they'd take care of it and never did. This has been ongoing since August, 2024. A picture was ordered and paid for($300), never received picture, one of the vases broke off the monument. This has been a nightmare, and very stressful on top of my grieving process. Can you please get in touch with me because I need help with resolving this problem. Thank you, will be expecting some kind of response.

    Purchased a tombstone for my parents which was paid in full July 2024. To date, the tombstone has not been placed at the gravesite. Reached out to the business on several occasions and no one answered the phone or follows up on messages. In addition to calling the business’s phone number, I have the owner and his son’s mobile number. They ignore all correspondence.

    We ordered a gravestone in 2021. He originally said it would be 9 months because of Covid. We gave him a deposit of $3,250 at the time. He asked for the deposit again in Jan 2024, saying he would order the stone. He had repeatedly told us the stone was in *** ******. We informed him he had the deposit since 2021. We met with him in April 2024 (when he claimed he would have stone) and paid an additional $400. He said he was picking up the stone that week. We went to this business multiple times to see the stone he claimed he had. It was never there. Jan 13, 2025 I asked to see the stone or pick up a refund check. They told me the distributor would contact me directly by Friday Jan 17, 2025. This did not happen. At this point I want a full refund of $3,650 paid to him in good faith. He has made it clear that he is not refunding the money of delivering the stone willingly.

    Our family placed an order for a grave marker for our mother ******* ******** on 7/30/2024. The cost of the grave marker was paid in full that same day. We were told it could take up to 8 weeks to get the marker. It has now been almost 6 months (18 weeks) and we have yet to receive the marker. We have made several phone calls and have even gone to the business inquiring about our order. We have spoken with the president Eric R******** and his son Joey regarding the delay but feel we have been given the run around. They refuse to give us the information on the distributor so we may contact them for a status. All we want is the grave marker or a full refund which we have given them more than adequate time to provide. This has caused undue stress due to the fact that we feel our mother is not at rest until this is resolved. If this cannot be resolved very soon, we will be forced to take legal.

    Invoice#********* April 17, 2023 $763.59 paid for monument inscription at ** ***** * ** **** Cemetery, *******. Order has yet to be fulfilled. Business has been contacted several times. Most recently, said they would make this issue a priority. More time has passed & nothing has been resolved.

    Spartan was paid in full ($521.12) on April 18, 2023 to add an engraving to a stone in *** ******** cemetery, **** ****** **. I have called and left messages on all the voicemails I bet 100 times, and have gone to their locations. They do not respond and are closed during their stated open hours.

    My mom ordered a tombstone back in 2020 and till this day 11/29/2023 the stone still haven't been received at the cemetery. We've tired going to the the company and all they are doing is giving us excuses. We've even tried asking for our money back and still nothing.

    My mom passed away on 1/10/23. We called ********** (sparten) for the foot stone. They sent me an email with the layout for the design which I approved. My son & I went to visit in April, and the stone was still not in. My father called them back and they resent the original design for approval. On April 27, I approved the layout for the 2nd time, via email, and asked when it would be put in (luckily I found that email in my sent box dated 4/27/23). I never received a reply. My father continued to ask me about the stone. So here we are in August of 2023 (7 months later) and I called them, and left a very polite voice mail asking when the stone would get put in (my dad paid over 1300.00 for it. ) Then the next day, my dad called and left a mad message, and at 80+ he, still mourning his wife of 60 years, they did not pick up. He called them back again and the phone was out of service. I called the cemetery and they said the company never filled out an application. Today, I received an email saying we never approved the design. Luckily, I was able to go back into my sent messages, and find the email approving the design and asking when it would be put in. Since the phone number is now working again, my dad & I went directly to the vendor. (Eric is his name) . Whilst at our visit, Eric R, who does the engraving, claiming he does not know how to use the computer, said he knew nothing about it, and that the other Eric does this all the time, but he needs that man because he doesn't know the computer and how to use the software (Omni ... I asked). In the mean time he said he would get it done that night and took my cell phone, and said he would text me a photo, but didn't until I called back and left a message asking what happened and again my dad was upset with his message. Now he got a call from the cemetery saying they finally received the signed application, but don't know when it will be put in. I will go back in person. DO NO USE THIS COMPANY.

    I purchased a grave monument on 8/2022 . Invoice # ***** for $6,500.00 I have visited their location on ****** to see the completed monument and NO ONE WILL EVEN TALK WITH ME. APPARENTLY THERE IS NO MONUMENT COMPLETED AND it was pain in Full. I have the paid invoice from Spartan.for $6,500.00 I have left numerous calls and went to the location over 5 times.     Business did headstone for my mother ******** ****** ****** last summer. There is a mistake on the stone and it needs to be fixed. This company was paid in full for there services a year ago but we have left numerous messages for Eric s to call us back and he won’t.

    The original job was done according to the customer's instructions and approval. The mistake was not made by us. We have been looking into whether we can repair the job or if it needs to be redone, so we have not contacted the customer yet as we may not be able to do the work. Either way, this would be a new work order that has not been invoiced yet, so no complaint should have been filed for work that hasn't been contracted yet.

    Unfortunately we will not be able to repair the the incorrect date. The slab would have to be replaced and re-sandblasted. We do not have the ability to match that piece exactly, so the customer would need to supply the new slab.
