      I purchased a purse that I had for less than a month that the leather stained from rain. I was instructed by the company to send the purse back, which cost me $26 to ship it back on September 9th; it is now October 12th! I had to be the one to reach out each time on what is going on with my purse. I was told that I had to choose specific colors that I did not want and I told them that I wanted my money returned, and nobody has responded back. I purchased a $115 wallet to match the purse which I was told there's no damage to the wallet so they wouldn't Do anything.

      I place and order for Dooney & Bourke bag. On September 27, 2024. I paid $ 100.00 dollars plush shipping. I never received the bag. I can't seem to be able to get my money back. Dooney claim they have a photo that *** took leaving my box at the door. *** claim Dooney is supose to reimburse me. Is back and forth. I am hopping my bank will reimburse me. Is this legal can you loose your money like that. I never received my bag.

      I purchased a Dooney and Bourke purse on December 29, 2023. I have only use it a few months and the leather is peeling off of the purse in several areas. I contacted Dooney and Bourke and the lady I spoke with told me that they have a one year guarantee on all of their products and since I had only had it a few months that there should be no problem. I sent in several pictures of the damaged purse and now they are telling me that they can not do anything about it because they said I rubbed it against something. However, you can tell that the leather is defective because it is peeling all over the purse. I paid over $275 for this purse at ******** and it was on sale. However the original price of this purse was much higher. I have only used it a few times and now they will not stand behind their guarantee. I tried to send pictures for the BBB to see, but it says they are too big to send. I just want them to repair or replace this purse. I feel that I am out a lot of money and their website stands a one year guarantee so they are not standing behind their products. If the BBB can do anything to assist me with this problem, I would really appreciate it greatly. Also if you can tell me how I can send the pictures another way so that you can see that the purse if obviously defective, please let me know. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

      I reached out to Dooney and Bourke because the bag has transferred dye from the bag onto my clothing on separate occasions. I live in ******** **********, where humidity and rain do not occur in the summer months, so weather has not been a factor. The bag was worn cross-body and transferred dye onto two different pairs of light-colored jeans and recently, onto a white blouse.

      I'm extremely disappointed with this ongoing issue, as it's both embarrassing and inconvenient. This was meant to be my daily bag due to its professional look and instead soiled multiple pairs of work clothes during the work day.
      I asked for their assistance because their public website states the following: And that's why we back everything we make with our ironclad Dooney Guarantee. We stand behind the durability of our leather goods and offer an unconditional guarantee against any defects in craftsmanship for a full year of normal use.

      I purchased the bag in Mar of 2024. I sent Dooney proof of purchase. I asked for their assistance with the bag in Sept of 2024. They declined to help or honor their warranty. They are falsely advertising a "1 year guarantee" against defects. They did not give me any explanation or reason for not repairing my bag, replacing it or refunding me (preferred).
      Here is my Case *******
      I've emailed multiple times and was told they would not help me. I also called and wasn't told they wouldn't help me and that they even tried to claim that the guarantee page on their website didn't exist until I sent them to url.

      They've lied and continue to falsely advertise a guarantee that doesn't exist.
      I even sent them photos of the bag showing it's in otherwise excellent condition and this isn't the result of damage. I take care of my belongings but this bag has transferred all over my clothes. It's worthless to me now because I can't wear the bag because it'll run dye off onto me. I don't even feel good donating it.

      First off the *** person didn't deliver the purse even though the correct address was on there. Then Dooney didn't honor the price because the price went up so I could get the same purse. They pretty much put their hands up and said there is nothing they can do. At least honor the price if *** messed up. My mom is upset she couldn't get her purse for her birthday. I have a baby on the way in less than 3 weeks and this stress caused some issues.

      I purchased a bag from them. A short time later the bag tore where the zipper was attached. I sent the bag in for repairs and it was received by them on July 22, 2024. Their website states 3-4 weeks. It is well past the 3-4 weeks. I called and was put on hold for almost 30 minutes waiting for the repair department. I paid for the bag and can't use the bag. I paid to have the bag returned to them. Their website states they guarantee this and guarantee that. I would like a refund since it has been way over time for the repair to be done.

      On August, 5, 2024, I purchased a small Kendra satchel. I began wearing the bag during the week of August 23, 2024. However, after my third use of the bag, I noticed the piping in the lower front corner of bag wearing. I filed a repair request on August 29, 2024. Christy (Repair Dept.) replied via email that based on the photos submitted, they were unable to provide repair services. Additionally, a replacement option was not offered and a reason why the repair could not be made under the Dooney Guarantee was not given. I spoke with an agent who asked that the photos be reconsidered for review. On, 9/3/2024, Paul (Repair Dept.), replied that the piping is scuffed, shows normal wear not damaged.

      This response is not in line with the Dooney Guarantee that is advertised in the Company's website. The Guarantee states " And that's why we back everything we make with our ironclad Dooney Guarantee. We stand behind the durability of our leather goods and offer an unconditional guarantee against any defects in craftsmanship for a full year of normal use. Register your goods upon purchase to be covered by our Dooney Guarantee policy. In addition to the Dooney Guarantee, we offer repairs and replacements from our professional leather goods repair team."

      However, this Guarantee does not mention that normal wear and tear is excluded from this policy. This Guarantee is deceptive and misleading. Additionally, the piping material should not have broken down after 3 uses within a 2 week period. This tells me that a cheap material was used for the piping. I have other high quality durable bags where the piping is in great condition after a 1 year period of use. Finally, I was told that the company does not offer an exchange on products and I could not receive a refund as I had used the item. Had I seen these complaints, I would not purchased anything. Will not buy any future items from the firm. Thanks!

      Purchased a drawstring bag purse July 7 and the strap glue came off purse causing strap to break I called spoke to agents they offered to repair product filled out form no reply. They are unwilling to replace the defect product valued at 300.00

      Dooney & Bourke offers a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects for normal wear and tear.  We offer to repair the item free of charge.  If we can not repair the item we will replace it.  The customers item is repairable and free repair was offered.
