      i feel very fortunate, most issues i have dealt with are resolved with patience and clear communication. Rarely if ever find a need to complain about a business. I will never purchase another product. A purchase with a gift card 18 months ago appartently was not process by Dooney correctly and they failed to receive pmt. i was sent an email and called to speak with someone to explain that the gift card was destroyed, they needed to provide the full card #, since i no longer had the card. in good faith i used another credit card for pmt. no one will return calls now. and i was a really good customer.

      Description of Complaint:
      I placed an order with Dooney and Bourke , the next day the same bag went on sale I placed another order. Both orders arrived defective. I returned both. The company as of today received one back 10/17 and the other on 10/19 .They refuse to process my return or refund me immediately. They told me I need to wait 5 more days for them to process the refund then 10-15 days more for my refund. I was sent two defective orders they should refund immediately

      Their business practices are absolute garbage. I pre-ordered a bag. A week later I went on the site and saw it was on sale. I pre ordered the bag at the sale price and then cancelled the other one. I called today to see when it might expect to ship, I was told it was cancelled and they aren’t sure why I didn’t get an email. I asked why and they said due to low stock. When I asked why they were still still taking pre orders then, I was told, we have a disclaimer that says it’s not a guarantee. I can almost guarantee, if I had kept the first more expensive bag order, this wouldn’t have been a problem. I own many Dooney bags, I am not buying anymore. How can you allow a business to keep doing things like this to people? If you are taking orders and you send a thank you for ordering, here’s your order number, you should honor that. Their customer service is appalling. When I first ordered the bag, I had used the chat option to speak with a rep, there was a problem with my email (my fault) instead of sending to my (.com) email, it went to a (.con). They didn’t want to fix it at first and told me their was no way to track it and that we just have to hope the bag gets there. I called and spoke with a rep that, after a lengthy conversation finally fixed the error. They literally weren’t going to give me a way to track my order and then basically told me to hold my breath. I think the state of Connecticut should do something about this. Where are our protections as consumers? Why isn’t Dooney &Bourke accepting responsibility for their poor business practices and abysmal customer service? Where are the repercussions?? I’m so disgusting, I’m not buying anymore bags from them. The ones I have now are my last. I refuse to give these people my money any further. Apparently, they don’t care either way. I wish there was a way to leave a negative star review!!

      If I could give a -0 star I would! I am a 3rd generation Dooney & Bourne collector I haven’t had many issues with their products until recently the quality has definitely declined however that wouldn’t sting so bad if the customer service dept didn’t behave so poorly. I am devastated with the issue I am having with them and sad to say this is the end and final bag for this family! They have zero accountability with shipping and receiving. Everyone else is to blame we are just supposed to sit and wait for them to get to us “if “ they find the answer we need! This is not the company I have adored and brought with me to every good and bad magical or adventurous event of my life same for my mother grandmother sisters aunts even my grandfather sported D&B suspenders and wallets (the only brand I ever seen him wear). To know that my only hope is that whoever received my bag is honest and sends it back the final reply from the gentleman in receiving as what happened to a costumer in April it devastating. The sentiment of my bag is mine and I u sweat and it isn’t shared the same but for the love of all things compassion helps a little. I will never have that last precious moment of my mother again and the bag that comforted me is also gone. Dooney & Bourke please do better in the future your brand depends on it

      They do not ship their product in protective packaging on the inside of the box so you must take off work all day waiting for your item to arrive because if it rains, you will open your box and find rain damage to your item and Dooney & Burke will not take responsibility! Poor shipping practices if you ask me!!!

      Dooney and Bourke is not the same company they were years ago. They are on a steep decline as far as I'm concerned. As a Dooney lover for well over 25 years with an inventory of over 35 new and vintage handbags, I have to say their quality and customer service are below sub-standard. Plus, they do not have trained people to process credit card payments properly. How is it that a company like D&B will ship a handbag to a customer without making sure the credit card number went through? And then your audit team and collections department emails that customer 18 months later looking for payment. Who does that?? Now, that customer has to dig through months and months of credit card receipts to realize that the credit card transaction never happened! Get your act together D&B or you will lose (if you haven't already) new and long-term customers.

      I have purchased many bags from dooney and the last one I bought will be my last. It came incomplete with out the DB medallion after waiting 4 weeks for this bag. It came no shipping info or tracking number. Just laid on my porch. I opened it happy to finally get my bag. I emailed them to have them mail me the medallion missing. Their response was for me to mail my whole bag back. It’s easier for them to ship me the medallion! Inconvenience the buyer? I think not. I’m done building my Dooney collection after this mishap. Lacking quality control n not valuing a long time customer.

      I ordered a purse to the correct address, the purse was supposed to be delivered through *** but somehow, changed hands to the ** *****l service.
      On Thursday 7.28 I received an email at 11:30 am stating that at 11:18am the mail man marked it as delivered to the **** parcel locker (only he can get into and has to give you key access to). At 12pm I check my mailbox, there was no key or even any mail.
      I call Dooney and Burke to explain how there is no way it was delivered and if so, it wasn't delivered to me bc the key to retrieve it must have been given to someone else in my complex, bc again, only the mailman can distribute the keys and has access to them.
      They tell me that just bc is marked delivered they can't open an investigation into my missing bag, even though there is literally no evidence of it being properly delivered.
      I paid my money to them and THEIR DELIVERY VENDOR and I am being told to just figure it out. I will not be buying shit else from this trash a** place.
      This is ridiculous!!
