      Paid 40 dollars express shipping for what the site says will deliver in 2-3 days. I’m now on day 7 and the order is still only in progressing when I have called customer service I have been told one story then another to the point where I don’t believe anything they say. Well never again order not worth the hassle

      I was about to purchase a handbag when I was interrupted with a veterinary emergency. When I came back to my cart the following day to complete my purchase I discovered that my $79 crossbody bag had jumped to $218! Imagine my surprise. When I called the company to ask for an explanation I was basically told: Too bad, so sad. I was shocked to hear this from a company of long standing and good reputation. Live and learn I guess but shame on them!

      This used to be such a great brand. I never had a Dooney, and I received one for Christmas that was purchased from the Dooney site. The bag broke within 24 hours of use and they do not do replacements. You only have the option to return for a refund. My bag was registered, and this goes directly against their printed media: "We stand behind the durability of our leathergoods and offer an unconditional guarantee against any defects in craftsmanship for a full year of normal use." Well, mine lasted a day, and the customer service said "please understand we do not exchange." I was only offered an option for a refund. Their advertisements are a lie, and this is now a horrible brand that has the craftsmanship of a $5 bag from *********

      My experience is the same as all of the other complaints. Pricing issues and customer service is unreasonable. Similar to what others have said---I am taking my money elsewhere. Really---the consumer has the power. If we completely stop shopping with companies that have horrid service---guess what---they will learn. Also, haven't you noticed--not too many people carry Dooney bags anymore. I guess we know why---poor customer service.

      Garbage company. I ordered a bag for my wife 12/7. I check the status several times and was told the order was processing. On 12/22 I checked again and was told the item was out of stock and would not be available for 4-6 weeks. This was to be a Christmas gift. They did not even bother to tell me it was delayed. I had to find out for myself.

      I ordered a ‘jeans’ colored shoulder bag straight from Dooney & Bourke on December 6th. On the 12th my order was delivered defective. The emblem on the outside of the purse was upside down! Never expected that from, what I thought, was a reputable company. I called to request a replacement and was told I could only return. So I returned the defective item. I did not get a full refund, they kept the amount for shipping even though I was sent a defective purse, which is their fault. I reordered a purse on the 15th with holiday shipping however the purse has not even been packed to be shipped yet. I’ve called to ask about faster shipping and their response was once an order is placed it can’t be altered which is total bull. It hasn’t even left their facility, it is still processing. I’ve emailed several times about getting my full refund from the first defective purse and told they don’t refund shipping. I’m beyond over this company. I wanted this purse for my Mom’s Christmas gift but I will NEVER order or buy another Dooney purse. They have lost a customer. This company is more hassle than they are worth!

      I ordered a blue bucket handbag, Dooney & Bourke, on November 28, 2022, early so I could have it by Christmas as a gift for my sister. The bucket purse was priced at $119 with a tax which totaled up to $128.83. However, I waited for three weeks and hadn't heard from anyone, so I called on 12/16/22, to check the status and was told that they canceled my ordered without my knowing. Luckily, I called because no one informed or contacted me about anything. Then, I noticed they had it on sale again for a higher price of $169 and I was told that I would have to purchase it at the present price since they canceled my order for some unknown reason. I asked why can't I get the previous price I had ordered it for at $128.83, and was told because the sell price was no longer valid, and $169 was the present price. I let them know this was unfair and could I speak with a manager? He told me they were all busy and they would call me back within 48 hours; however, today is 12/18/22 and I haven't heard from anyone yet. My order being cancelled was not my fault because the money was in my account. So, what was the problem? If I would have been contacted about my purchase being cancelled, I could have used another method of payment to purchase the purse. This is so unfair because my younger sister will disappointed to know she did not receive the only gift she asked for at Christmas. I strongly feel, "If you can't deliver what you advertise, then take down the advertisement. I have bought over 25 purses in the past and to be treated this way is in poor taste. What happened to customer pleasing? I will buy nothing else from D&B because it is not about what you do, but how you do it. I hope I hear from them so I can express to them how they ruined Christmas and making her Santa look like a dishonest fool to my sister. D&B now stands for "Don't Buy another purse from them for me!"

      Worst company ever to deal with!!! IRS and SSA have better standards. I actually own over 150 ****** Dooney bags, purchased over a 10 year time frame. Except for two, they all came directly from ****** at the parks or online. I Ordered from the Dooney site on 12/2/2022. At one time, they had over $1900 on hold. They kept authorizing my card for amounts I didn't even spend. Today, their site says nothing was shipped. Upon calling, they insist it will be here today though. They have the worst service. In the 2 weeks since the order, the prices have changed and they also will not honor their own prices for items not shipped. What a terrible way to treat a customer. Be careful giving them a card with a high credit limit. Thank you.

      Dooney & Bourke I’m so disappointed in this company. I love their purses but their customer service is horrible. I ordered a purse in the color red but received a wine color. This is what they told me to do in order to get the right color, remember it is their fault. I can return the original purse, that I bought on sale, and purchase the right color for over $70 increase. They will not do an even exchange even though IT WAS THEIR FAULT!!!!

      I ordered a blue duck bag on Nov23 i paided extra to get the bag b4 my bday which is dec 4 the bag was scheduled to come Dec 2 i get a box i opened it up & it’s sum ugly coin purse i called customer service where she said they couldn’t send me out my bag i ordered even tho i got the wrong thing because of them smh i am currently awaiting a call they just messed up my whole outfit..& my birthday i will never order from Dooney & Bourke again smh Never!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…..
