1 starI have a booking through Priceline for May 30th-June 1st. I called the hotel directly to request a date change on Tuesday(May 27th) was advised I had to contact Priceline because the hotel had no authorization to do anything . So I called Priceline on the same day Tuesday (May 27th) to change my booking date, was told it would take 2 days for a response, I never received a call back. I called Priceline Wednesday May 28th, to follow up and they said I would receive a call the next day(Thursday May 29th). Thursday finally comes never received a call, I called Priceline again and was told priceline contacted a third party who does their booking, and the third party “allegedly” contacted the hotel on my behalf to get my booking changed. The Priceline representative told me that my request for a date change for my booking was rejected. The agent stated that I could contact the hotel and request a date change, if I was told this on Tuesday when I initially called the hotel would have been more inclined to accommodate me. I called the hotel again on Thursday May 29th and again they stated they have no authorization to do anything with my booking. No where in my agreement or the documentation on the website for my booking does it state no modifications can be made to my booking. Currently been on hold with customer service for Priceline for 40mins, allegedly I was being transferred to manager but I doubt anyone picks up the call. Priceline is a fraudulent company, and in the business of scamming people out of their money.Review fromphilip m

1 starSCAM ALERT...We purchased our ********* rental car through Priceline and according to my confirmation, it stated that I should expect to pay $68 in full upon pickup. WHAT THAT REALLY MEANS is pay $389 because of hidden fees that Priceline was not up front with. Besides waiting 45 minutes at airport for the ********* shuttle, we were eventually delivered to a one room brick building ********* rental office(NOT THE ONE ON AIRPORT PROPERTY). There was only one person working so we waited another hour for our turn only to be surprised with an upcharge because of ********* minimum insurance requirements of $500k/$500k or you will be forced to pay them their amount for their insurance(I had $500k/$250k so I had to pay more)?!? DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH ********* CAR RENTAL OR ANY OF THEIR SCAMMING AFFILIATES LIKE PRICELINE AND EXPEDIA! Everyone on our ********* shuttle was furious at being UPCHARGED UPON PICKUP and taken ********* of by either Priceline or ******* and ********* is well aware that this is going on. I received a phone call later that evening and was told how sorry ********* was that this happened and that they were working to get me a 20% discount off of my rental but I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM ********* since that call over 9 days ago. Are you getting the picture???Review fromBrianna H

1 starThey are dishonest! Offered upgrade with fees to include a checked bag but then I ended up paying an additional $80 in baggage fees and customer service said they had no record of me paying for my baggage prior. Do not trust them.Review fromXiu Y

1 starI booked airticket via telephone and the payment was declined due to no enough money in the credit card. I told the agent not to do anything as I would handle it myself. After I hanged up, the agent continuously called me trying to convince me use another credit card, but in vain. The next day I received message telling me the agent used my credit card again to make purchase without my permission. I repeatedly told him the day before don't do anything. The reason I didn't do it again with priceline it that the agent told me there is no free checked luggage for the international flight. How could it be? I purchased with the same fare from another website and there is free checked luggage quota! To my surprise, the agent used my credit card information and bought the tickets without letting me know in advance. I had already purchased my ticket with another travel agent. I called to submit a complaint, but they just used a lot of excuse to blame me.Review fromNatalie S

1 starI agree if there’s a NO STAR choice I would’ve selected it. Booked round trip flights for two people departing with ***** and returning with ******** ******** I even bought the insurance just in case. The next day within the 20 hour period I couldn’t get a hold with the customer service and normally we have 24 hours to still cancel. The message was for me to call them back when it’s two weeks to my flight so I had the online service helped. I requested to cancel my flights . I was able to cancel the returning flight. They said my window to cancel was 4 hours ago for my departure which didn’t make sense because it was bought at the same time and how I can cancel the returning flight but couldn’t cancel the departure flight. I was able to call ***** to cancel my flight but can not refund because we went through a 3rd party. They can only give us credits for flights within a year. I probably should use it up just in case they make some excuse that it will be voided before a year. Sad to say is that make sure you’re 100% sure to book through them without cancellation because even insurance didn’t work within the 24 hours.Review fromAnthony Y

1 starHad to pay for two rooms because I made (or tried to make a reservation/change). Didn't use but 1 room but charged for two rooms. Priceline said I had to make a new reservation before I could cancel the first reservation. Made the new reservation then was told I couldn't cancel the first reservation. I made an initial reservation for a two bed room because there was going to be three people . The other two people canceled so I just needed one bed. And on top of that, it was for my stepmother's funeral. Priceline will not make good on a refund even though the problem was solely due to Priceline's mistake ! I need help. I was charged a total of 197.74 when it should have been 81.97.Review fromjasmin b

1 starI booked a flight and it was for the wrong week. I noticed it within minutes and I called the airline and they told me since it is within 24 hours that all what Priceline has to do it send and email and they can return the money but it has to be within the 24 hours. I have emails from the airline. I went through various calls with Priceline, rude employees and even a supervisor and they told me that im not getting my money back. They did not send the email within 24 hours like I and the airline said, the Priceline employee even called the airline while I was on the line, and vivaaerobus CONFIRMED (I have an email from them as well as proof) that as long as they send the email within 24 hours I will get my money back. I asked the rep to cc me on the email and she never did. I called many times always asking for an update and they said no new update, I finally received a supervisor and they said they reviewed and I am not getting my money back. They told me it was over the 24 hours, I told them that they were supposed to have sent the email, first the supervisor had said the first email was sent on may 8th, I said what, I called in April 28th MOMENTS after the payment was made, then he said well its too late you're not getting a refund, I told them its on them since I have proof from airline and their agent called airline confirming I can get my money back and they are the ones that sent the email late, so they owe me the money, he then said the email was sent on April 28th but airline said they never heard from Priceline which I have the proof airline said they never heard from Priceline, supervisor then basically said doesn't matter, im not getting my money back.Review fromKandice F.

1 starPriceline car rental was unwilling to help me with a $100 cancellation fee I incurred for trying to change my reservation. They continually cited "policy" and stated they were unable to help me once I cancelled my reservation even though I didn't have any other option to change my reservation. They didn't care that I wanted to reschedule my trip with them. Charging me the fee was more important to them than providing good customer service and maintaining a repeat customer.Review fromSheila O

1 starI thought I was reserving a room for May 2/3, 2025 in *** ***** ***** ** directly with the hotel website. Priceline mimics the website and I ended up reserving in through their website for $109.05 per night, for a total of $218, plus local/state taxes. The “fee” and taxes ended up costing just over $103.00 dollar, so almost another room night in fees. I will never again mistake booking through Priceline for these fees that weren’t divulged during the reservation process, as if they had been, I certainly would not have paid an extra room night total for fees associated with the service. Another point that is very frustrating is that they don’t show this stay in my past when I sign into my account, so they “can’t assist” with the complaint situation that I would like to lodge with them. You can’t reach a person, only auto attendant who won’t process if you don’t have an ID #, which I no longer have the email associated with the initial reservation.Review fromJanice B

1 starI have used Priceline for years. Never had a bad experience until this week. I accidently booked a hotel room on 5/20 instead of 5/23. I immediately called Priceline and customer service noted this room had just been booked and they would contact the 'third party' to see if I could get a refund or change the date. They said I would receive an email in 24-48 hours. I got NOTHING in response. I spoke with the hotel manager, Sunny, who stated she agreed to refund my hotel stay on 5/20 if Priceline would refund me. She said she had not received an email from Priceline about this issue. I spoke SEVERAL times to Priceline customer service, provided the hotel manager's name - and finally got an email response today - almost one week after my initial request. The email stated Priceline could not obtain approval to cancel this reservation. I HAVE ALREADY SPOKEN TO THE HOTEL MANAGER, AND THIS IS NOT TRUE. I actually rebooked a hotel room at the same hotel through Priceline for a hotel stay on 5/23. When I arrived at the hotel - there was NO reservation. I immediately called Priceline and they cancelled this reservation (that didn't exist) and refunded my money. I immediately booked directly through the hotel. I am so frustrated with Priceline. Unfortunately I have another hotel booked in June. I am nervous this hotel booking will actually work. I have been burned by Priceline, and their customer service is terrible. Never again.
