I booked reservations for a rental car for July 2, 2025. The reservation was cancelled the day of and I was told that I would be refunded within 2 days. Well going on a month later & I still haven’t received a refund & they have erased my information out their system so I can no longer contact them. I have an email in writing from a supervisor from Priceline stating that it was cancelled. I also called numerous of times to no avail!

Extremely poor performance and unfair professional performance
Tricky customer service and creating problems and stressful situations
      Zero accountability and zero respect
Priceline should have more responsibility to address customer concerns

Worst company ever!!!! We booked our yearly family vacation for 4 to **** as a package deal, which included flight and hotel stay. Everything went well until we arrived at our resort. Once we tried checking in, the resort mentioned to us that we only had reservations for 2 and that we needed to pay an additional fee for our other 2 guests which were our children. We showed the hotel manager our reservations and how it mentioned that we paid for a package deal for a family of 4. The hotel still didn’t budge,
I then proceeded to contact Priceline where they purposely kept hanging up on me and repeatedly saying the same thing. “I’m so sorry I understand, let me contact the resort and see what the issue is?” I then ask Priceline how many guests do you see on my hotel reservation? They come back saying “you only have 2 people listed for your hotel reservation.” I then proceed and say “how is that possible if I purchased a package deal and paid the exact same price for all 4 of us?” It makes no sense to me that they would only add 2 people and I pay full price. Plus it doesn’t give an option to change hotel guests when you book a package vacation.
It books it all together for you once you add that you want it as a package. All it has you add is your destination, dates, names & ages of your loved ones and it groups it all together.
I literally spent my first 2-3hrs in the lobby with my extremely exhausted daughters who didn’t sleep very well the night before. I didn’t want to continue spending the rest of our stay in the lobby, so we did end up having to pay the additional fee. The hotel felt bad for us that they ended up giving us a discount.
I know Priceline is booking these trips and keeping partial of the money. I did do some research and I did notice that many travelers have had the exact same experience as my family. I don’t know where to go. I refuse to be scammed so please help out

Customer service does not exist if you want to speak to a real person to fix an issue. I’ve tried three or four numbers and they all transfer you to the airlines.

Priceline canceled my family vacation while I was asleep.
I booked a beachfront hotel through the Priceline app. It was confirmed. Everything looked good.
Then, at 12:44 AM the day before check-in, I got an email saying my card was declined and I had just 6 hours to fix it… or lose the reservation.
No phone call. No app alert. No text.
Just a silent countdown — while I was asleep.
When I saw the email at 3:15 PM, it was too late. My reservation was already canceled.
I had spent all day working and getting ready for the trip — completely unaware I was already stranded.
I called Priceline immediately. Using the same card they said failed, I rebooked over the phone with an agent.
      The new reservation?
      More expensive
      No kitchen
Pool view instead of beach view
A clear downgrade — for a higher price.
Then, while we were literally driving to the hotel, I got a push notification from Priceline:
?? “Your room is now cheaper!”
I submitted a VIP Price Guarantee claim.
      ? Denied.
Why? They said my second booking was “through Booking.com.”
      But here’s the problem:
      I never visited Booking.com.
I rebooked by phone, and the itinerary still shows up in the Priceline app.
?? What they don’t mention is that Booking.com, Priceline, and Agoda are all owned by Booking Holdings — the same parent company.
So when they point fingers, they’re just blaming themselves to avoid accountability.
I spent 8 hours and 47 minutes on calls and chats trying to resolve this.
No refund. No fix. No responsibility.
This didn’t feel like a mistake. It felt like a strategy:
      ? Cancel quietly overnight
      ? Blame your card
? Rebook at a higher rate
      ? Deny the price match
? Claim it was a “partner” site — that they also own
A system designed to confuse, deflect, and profit.
?? Avoid Priceline. Avoid Booking.com. Avoid Agoda.
?? Book directly when you can.
?? Protect your time, money, and peace of mind.

Beware of Priceline as they use underhanded web handling techniques to draw you off a hotel reservation website and get you to use them or one of their related sites to book a room and the final rate is twice what it should be. Priceline’s devious techniques/business practices are nothing but scamming - promising lowest rates only to charge me almost double what ******* *** ******* would have charged me. Priceline charge was $705 for two nights that Holiday Inn would have charged me $405. So don’t believe in Priceline’s Best Price Guarantee promises.

I booked a beachfront hotel in the Outer Banks with priceline for the 4th of July weekend. I was so excited to see my friends who I hadn't seen in a few years!
Thursday July 3rd I took a half day and drove the 5.5 hrs straight from work. About 4:30 I realized I was running late so I tried to call the hotel to let them know I was still coming, but I'd be checking in around 6:00. Nobody answered the couple times I called. I figured it was just a holiday weekend at the beach and they were probably swamped.
As I hit the island and my GPS said 15 mins I was super excited! I was about to relax on the beach for 3 days and hang out with my friends. I was coming down the street and my hotel was in sight. The best part was there's beach access directly next to it. And then I saw it...
There were chains up across the entrance and furniture in the parking lot (the next day we saw the sign on the front of the building was gone as well). My beautiful, beachfront hotel was closed for renovations!
I immediately called Priceline and was told they have to call the hotel to confirm they can't accommodate me. Sure, go ahead and call the imaginary hotel. While I'm on hold, the gentleman hungs up on me (probably an accident, but not helping the situation). So I do what any pissed off, self-respecting Karen would do...I called right back and ask to speak with the manager. By this time I'm so mad I'm in tears. I spoke with a woman who almost "I understand" and "mmm hmmm'd" me too death. She claimed they would find me alternative lodging, but my hotel had 45 mins to respond (the imaginary hotel). I told her I was tired and just wanted to unpack and I'm wasn't sure what I was supposed to do for the next 45 mins, but fine, I understood
We went to dinner and afterward I checked my emails to see what Priceline dug up. They did actually find me alternate lodging. However, it was for 7/3 and 7/5. I guess after the fireworks on 7/4 I was supposed to sleep on the beach?

Searched priceline.com for a rental car pick-up specifically for 10pm after my flight landed for a birthday party trip. Everything seemed fine until it was time for pick-up. After waiting approximately 45 mins, thinking I'd just missed the most recent car rental shuttle, I decided to call the rental company. Guess what? They closed at 6pm daily! Priceline set me up with a company that closed WELL BEFORE my requested pick-up time. I contacted priceline for assistance, but unfortunately I HAD TO BOOK ANOTHER RESERVATION MYSELF!! Thankfully, I had the funds to do so. The representative informed me that I would receive a refund of the price difference between the two reservations once documents were submitted. This was on March 20, 2025!! After my 4 day trip, I followed their instructions. After not hearing back from them, I began to make calls and send emails regarding this issue. On April 2nd, I finally received the "approval" email for the price difference refund and submitted my PayPal information, as requested. Informed it could take up to 15 business days to receive. Three weeks later, NOTHING!! I sent another email and they stated that my refund issue has been escalated. This back and forth emailing has been going on since APRIL! I called again today, July 19th, and of course i was transferred between several representatives. I was informed that, even after countless "issue escalations" via previous email conversations, that my previously "approved" refund request from April was never submitted!! Suddenly, they're unable to refund me via PayPal as discussed and will issue a check via mail, taking up to 20 days! I expressed my frustration and disappointment about this entire encounter to several people but my concern was always disregarded. I requested additional compensation for the inconvenience, but it was completely ignored. Stating there's nothing they can do. THIS WAS ENTIRELY THEIR FAULT!! It would have been a total loss if it was my fault for the mix-up!??

I purchased a ticket with insurance protection through xcover for a commercial flight back home totaling over half of 1k, expecting to be able to cancel anytime in case something happened. Well, something did happen but because it fell outside their cancellation window, I wasn’t allowed to and got charged for a flight I couldn’t go through with. Then they tell me the claim I submitted wouldn’t be accepted because I didn’t provide all the necessary documentation. Are you kidding me?!
