1 starI have been a customer of HomeServe USA for many years. Recently I called them on 2 different occasions. 1st time was for a leaking 90 degree copper elbow on waterline at faucet… $1.27 part that they refused to cover The 2nd time was for a leaky toilet fill valve that they refused to cover after sending out a plumber Cost of parts $8.63.. I’m not sure what their plans cover because both parts are basic plumbing needs. When I questioned cust service asking to speak to a knowledgeable supervisor I was told first he/she was in a meeting and couldn’t leave to speak to me. I was THEN told that the supervisor would call me back within 48 hours even though they had a plumber waiting at my house..Review fromThomas S

1 starThey sent out a contractor who patched up my a/c and the next day it was broken. I called that contractor and was told that hey know what the problem was. Home Serve sent out a different contractor who stated it was the wire as the previous contracted stated the second time I spoke with him. Home Serve would not pay for the repairs stating that they had paid the previous contractor a big chunk of money to come out first. Well the first contractor showed up while the new contractor was there and said the sent him the work order and was gonna have to pay him for coming out again. I called home serve and told them they were negligent because they should have a policy with the contractor’s that states if the there is an issue within thirty days they should be responsible for rectifying the situation since they were at fault. I have cancelled my plan with home serve and was responsible for getting my unit repaired.Review fromPhil W

1 starAwful told me I have a leak in my one year old A/C system and they can’t fix, well they could, but thousands of dollars for leak test, they came twice and told me the same thing. I decided to get a second option and pay a hvac company out of pocket, they found bad air flow, misappropriated board and wires hooked up wrong, they turned up the fan speed and all my frosting problems went away easy fix for someone that knows what they are doing. What a disappointment and to be blunt a total waste of money that I’ll never get back. Beware of this company they will use excuses not to fix in my experience.
