      My current an ongoing claim seems to be a one-way street to where if I want any information I have to them to find out the status rather than them, calling me to advise me of the situation.
      I do not have the time, nor patients to be their babysitter. The contractor chosen by them to repair my icemaker, *** *******H came out for a brief approximately 10 minute trip to my house, and stated that my icemaker needed one appeared to be 1 simple part that they stated was available.
      Then after no contact from them after the diagnosis when I got a hold of Home Serve they contacted **** ******* and the contractor told them it needed a different part. I found this very difficult to believe since I never made a second trip out to the house to diagnose that that part has failed. Apparently I have the ability to hire telepathic contractors who can diagnose problems without again locking at the appliance. it will be very interesting to see what type of lipservice response they have to this review if they bother responding at all, he will no doubt be one of those canned scripted. We’re so sorry you had this experience. This is not how we want our customers treated etc., you know how the story goes. Stay tuned.

      Great job by HomeServe and the technician who was sent to repair my air conditioner! The HomeServe representative was friendly and helpful and the technician was courteous and was able to fix my AC the very next day.

      Harassing phone practices. The amount of phone calls about adding services is harassing. They also use a different phone number each time so you can’t block it and they make the phone number look like it could be from the area you live in or your phone number comes from so you’re more likely to answer.

      I would not recommend this company to anyone, I tried to cancel on May 26, 2023 and I was threatened by the representative stating "the company will block me Nationwide from getting home warranty".
      I asked for conformation that I called to cancel and the representative stated "the company does not give conformation codes on cancelations and it was canceled" which infact is not true because I have received text messages on June 6th & June 24th 2023 Home Serve is charging my account. I reported it has a fraudulent charge to have the payment stopped and get a new card number for my account and they managed to access the new card number before I even got the new replacement card with the new number in the mail.
      This is not a company they are thieves and gangsters who uses force to keep getting your money. I am still to this day June 24th, 2023 trying to cancel and stop them from charging and taking money from my account. Don't end up in this situation.

      We have had the Hot Water Tank service for about 10 years. On 6/12/23, our water tank failed and we called Home Serve about replacement. They told us that they would refer this to the local contractor, Laurel Mgmt Service and we would hear within 24 hours. Called Laurel Mgmt to see how long it would be. They advised they never received a call or service order from them, and that they were no longer providers to HOME SERVE. Call was placed to Home Serve and we were told that they would have their team look into this and we would hear back, or from the service provider. Never heard back. Called next morning and was told that they weren't able to find anyone and that we should call around and find out who handles this. In the meantime, we have been without hot water for about 48 hours. Called our regular HVAC company. They do not have a contract with HOME SERVE and had cancelled their contract that they had several years ago because they were too difficult to work with. Made a couple of calls, no one takes HOME SERVE, so we call O'Connor, our HVAC person and scheduled a replacement, which we paid $1,480. for. Since HOME SERVE could not provide the service they so braggedly tout, we cancelled all services from them. NO MORE from them.
