      The process was super easy start to finish. The initial call to HomeServe took less than 5 minutes. Paid our service call fee and within 2 hours had a appt that work with our schedule. We had Bryon come out from ****** to service our AC. He was right on time and very friendly. It didn't take him long at all to find the issue and fix. Within 90 minutes of his arrival, we had working AC and he was heading out. I couldn't be happier with HomeServe and in particular Bryon for all the help!

      GO WITH A REPUTABLE HOME WARRANTY COMPANY, DO NOT USE HOME SERVE.
      I am a successful Realtor in the ******* and I purchased a Home Serve warranty for my own house at a colleagues recommendation.
      I will NEVER recommend this company to any friends or clients. I paid for their service for a year and this was a HUGE mistake. When I called because my air conditioner wasn't cooling they fumbled around and the people they referred to handle the problem were incompetent and inept. It took many calls to actually get someone to show up, and the gentleman who did show up was so shady I followed them around as they looked at my AC unit and my furnace. I was uncomfortable with them even being in my house. Then my "service professional" (we'll call him) told me he check with Home Serve and they would not pay for an AC unit or coil to be replaced. Now when I purchased this plan I requested coverage for my HVAC. I called home Serve and explained that what the technician they sent told me and asked why it wasn't covered. I was told it was not covered by Home Serve because only this finite list of items were covered regarding my air conditioner. Mind you, it is a central air unit like most everyone has sitting beside their house. I paid over $5,500 for a new unit to be installed because when you need one, you really need one. No time to debate. Then, upon my request they sent me my policy in the mail, they refused to send it by email. Once I got it I read through it and it said my Air Conditioner had $10,000 worth of coverage for a year.
      I got cheated out of a year's worth of premiums and $5,500 for the new AC unit believing I had been responsible. Not the case. Now I can only hope to help any other honest people not get taken advantage of by this deceptive company. GO WITH A REPUTABLE HOME WARRANTY COMPANY, DO NOT USE HOME SERVE.

      I have HomeServe for 6+ months now. I never used the service until last week. I had a interior water leak and called HomeServe to fix it and they asked for $100 call service fee and they could not tell me when a contractor will come. The contractor showed up after the time window they promised and denied to fix it after looking at the issue. He told me HomeServe will not cover it and asked me to pay him $450 to fix it. While I was on the phone with HomeServe to find out why it would not be covered he left and untruthfully represent the fact that the leak was inside and the metal pipe that connects to the out side bib and plastic pipe is most likely the culprit. When I talked to HomeServe they took the contractor words despite I am being their paid customer because it works better for HomeServe, so HomeServe does not have to pay for it either. Talk to HomeServe several times over week and a half and every time a representative promise a supervisor will call me later to resolve the issue and no one ever did. It is a win-win situation for the contractor that if a service can be denied as non-covered service, they make more money doing the work outside of the contract, it also good for HomeServe they do not have to pay for fix on top of that got to keep the $100 call fee and as customers we loose all, the monthly fee we paid, we loose the call fee we paid, we loose the time we pleaded with them to show it should be covered etc. we all will appreciate if BBB look into this cahoot of Home warranty companies and their contractor relationship because it works against the consumers. Thanks in advance for your attention to this matter.

      HomeServe representative Eugene C****** contacted and acknowledged that it would have been covered if they know the detail but they cannot cover it since I cancel the contract. In fact both points are invalid and we cannot come to an agreement. I have been telling HomeServe representatives same information in different calls not only him and the incident happened in covered time period, so it does not matter I cancel the contract when we discussed the problem. HomeServe would not call me if I would not had a complain with BBB, so the issue still unresolved that HomeServe in coordination with it vendor denied the coverage, so they can avoid the obligation and keep the money they receive over the year and vendor can keep the call fee, denial of coverage is win win situation for both parties and consumer is the only looser in this deal. BBB needs protect consumer rights and needs protect consumer from this money milking buddy buddy games.

      We are highly satisfied with your service in our time of need. Our air conditioning was blowing warm air one afternoon. I called the HomeServe number and got an all-automated response system that asked me to describe the problem. The automatic voice said that since it was past 4:00 pm, I would get a call back the next day. I was in despair, believing we'd be stuck without A/C for days. But within an hour I got a call from ***** ********* and a real person said we'd get a call from the repairmen tomorrow morning! Sure enough, they called at 8:10 in the morning, saying that they were on the way. The two repairmen who arrived were very courteous and friendly (even our dog liked them), and they had the air conditioning fixed and running around 10:00 in the morning, before the day's heat had set in. From first call to problem solved was about 16 hours! We love you all!.

      This company has not been dependable for the past two years that I have been paying them. It takes them weeks to get someone out, even in the event of an emergency.
      No one communicates with you regularly. They require you to pay your service fee before they will even make your request, yet they don't even make sure you have a confirmed appointment for the service needed.

      The service provided was prompt, and the plumber was very professional. He identified the issue what caused it, and best of all a simple fix. I was given clear instructions on how to remediate the issue. If it should reoccur, he made the appropriate notes in my record and this way if it happens again, someone else will know what he did. It’s a great service!
